Lovely day for it James. I'm always impressed by the way you swing that long lens around and shoot one handed. It's either light or got some cracking IBIS.
Great images from my 'go-to' place in the Lakes (Eskdale) I'm surprised that you didn't do a circular by going down to Burnmoor Tarn and through the Mitterdale Forest, maybe via Boat How. Looks like you had a great day anyhow 😁. Thanks for sharing.
It did cross my mind but just fancied the quicker route on the day. I did it anti clockwise on my first round just not getting up close to Burnmoor Tarn. Cheers Alan
Always interested in other people's take on mountain photography. I struggle to be honest which is criminal when I effectively live in the foothills of the Himalayas in Thailand. So often I find a scene and go wow, take an image or three, get home and go meh when I load them on the laptop. Staring to improve a bit but it's a slow process.
To be fair, they don’t come along too often. Why don’t you just get down documentary style images in the bag. Just take what you like and record the moment rather than make a composition out of it. One will come along. Cheers Ian
A stunner of a day, a place I’d love to venture over. Those crashing clouds at the start got the soul stirring. Belter!
Can’t beat a good stir of the soul to start the day
Thanks for another lovely day on the fells.
My pleasure Keith. Thank you 👍
That light was well worth stopping for James. Thanks for the walk, wonderful views and great shots.
Cheers Iain. If I hadn’t have stopped, I would still be regretting it now!
Lovely day of magic ... very envious!! And at the end, I think your colour images beat the mono images
Cheers Will. The light lead to the better colour options I agree

Thanks Neville. Lovely day again. The lens is both very light and has good IBIS plus of course plenty practice
