@@121MikeSpeaking of airports, one thing that really confused early on about how everything works is... once you get into a new airport, then what? Are your only options to get fuel and maybe some food and fly out? How do you get into town? Anyways, diving into FBOs (rental cars, bikes, fuel) and other ground transportation options (folding e-bikes, ubers, etc.) seems like it would be useful for folks who are flying to something instead of just flying to fly.
And there is one of the main drawbacks of flying. Getting to another front door... Many FBO's at small airports do have courtesy cars you can borrow or at least get a ride to wherever you need to go. Of course, there's also Uber nowadays and that's helpful nearly everywhere. If I had a folding bike or decent electric scooter, I'd take that along on a trip, and if I were going to fly places often, I'd invest in one.
