Alternatively, you could use an altitude sensor set to a negative altitude, which would also ensure that the blast won’t reach you, and is more reliable as your ship’s momentum won’t affect the trajectory - and subsequent detonation altitude of the depth charge

I designed it on high seas map where the sea altitude varies, so it wouldn’t work as well
