In my tiny rural parish, we didn't have great musical resources. But our little choir did their best, and it was pretty good. The canticleswere the best. Nothing fancy, clear chanting in this style, melodies that were simple, almost folkie, very singable, and, to me at least, absolutely beautiful. It's hard to hear these modies sung now. I like the modern English Offices, but we have lost something precious and comforting, in losing these melodies in our weekly worship.
What can be more edifying and spiritually uplifting than to sing praises to this our Awesome God. Let us worship Him and fall down, and kneel before the Lord our maker, amen

中華聖公會與英國公禱書用一至七節再加詩篇九十六篇的九和十三節，編成十節。
有些地方，在唱皆來頌之前，還有「邀請」的啟應，按節令選不同的經句。
皆來頌在早禱緊接認罪文等禱告，唱它，是彼此召喚，都來讚美真神。其意義重大。此頌外文叫Venite或Psalm of Approach。
