Around the time this film was taken, I may have been on the kiddie train that went around Steeplechase. They also had a stair that went up to this wooden box that had "California Red Bats" on it. When you got to the top of the stairs, you saw two red baseball bats inside the box! ☺️

I'm pretty sure what was left of Luna Park had been demolished by 1958 since it shut down permanently in 1946. I think the Luna Park housing projects were started around 1954/55.
