RATM not being in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame might have something to do with the Hall of Fame being part of that machine they're raging against.
They just got announced as being inducted in this year's class
Only they rage FOR the machine now. Corporate shills wanting sheeple to obey.
Amen!! And yet, they're in it now. But Morello was the only member who showed up.
YES! Every Rage song should be reacted to at least three times: a lyric video, an official video, and a live performance. Rage is my all time favorite, I love watching people fall in love with them ✊🏼
With Rage that’s solid advice.
Me, too!! I just discovered these reactions to RATM on UA-cam, and they are the best!! They make me giddy!!
@@emmadelovely426 this is one of my faves to date. Tom Morello even shouted him out on Twitter lol

I saw Rage at this Pinkpop festival in 1994. Our national weather and seismic institute(KNMI) measured a small earthquake during the performance of killing in the name
You have no idea how much influence this band had on people like me who were born in the 80s. The internet wasnt a thing yet. Music was everything. RATM brought their important messages to teenage me from Appalachia. Music back then changed peoples minds on things like race, poverty, opression, police brutality, on and on.
Rage is 🔥🔥🔥, Sleep Now in the Fire, protest song live on Wall Street
That was on Pinkpop Festival in Landgraaf, Netherlands. I was there. It's only about 30 minutes away from my German home town Aachen. And you know what? I didn't know Rage at the Machine at that time so I didn't pay attention to their performance. It was later that year when I got to know them. They were there 1994 and 1996, but since Pinkpop was always the same time as the Dynamo festival, I never saw them playing again :(
Zack is so aggressive and intense on stage, but if you ever see him on an interview he’s quite humble and soft spoken. That crowd was in the Netherlands at the pinkpop festival. The song is about police brutality, fortunately ( for them) they don’t feel it like us Americans do.
They indeed are smart and educated people. They're passionate.
This might change with recent election... :(
We saw Rage in Buffalo in 2022, and we were in the seats, however, just being in the arena while Zach sang those songs we felt every word he sang.. Rage is a must see live band.
Rage is the most underrated, and underappreciated band of all time!!!❤
The crowd at every Rage show is hype, but I love The Battle of Mexico City!!✊️
Rage Against The Machine - Testify Live at Finsbury Park London 2010 ;)
Down Rodeo and Wake Up *must* be your next reactions. You're already Rage Army, those will just seal the deal.
Testify is my favorite RATM song
I love watching people discover the music of my youth. RATM perfectly expressed our collective anger at the status quo. They made us want to start a revolution.
And yet we didn't
I have brought that energy from basically the back row you are looking for. The RAGE is relentless!
Handful of Steel and Bullet to the Head are fire from this same concert
*Fistful of Steel
In MY opinion... thier MASTERPIECE is "No Shelter". Especially when you hear the story behind the song! 💯
They are being inducted this year into hall of fame.
Live RATM concert attendee here... had general admission floor seats. The crowd is very hyped and also flowing... it feels like jumping waves in an ocean... bursts of energy and then a float that carries you around. Feeling that and hearing the music goes so well together. It's not at all what I expected before experiencing it.
Oh yeah! I couldn't wait for U to feel this!
This is from the PinkPop festival in The Netherlands. Probably 93, it looks like.
Oh man, check out Freedom or People Of The Sun in Mexico City! And most bands don't like being so far away from the crowd, the energy trade is still there but not as intense.
Yeah you taught me something. I did not know they weren't inducted in the rock n roll hall of fame. Wrong. Fantastic!!!!!! 🎉
An important thing to note about this performance, it was from Pinkpop in The Netherlands.
English is not the first language there, so the meaning of the lyrics could have been lost due to the language barrier, eventhough most Dutch people are well versed in English.
Also, this is a multi-day festival, and it really depends on which day this was. Pinkpop is a non-stop music festival with multiple acts going on day and night.
This version ROCKS!!! Waaayyyyyy better than the studio version. 👍😊👍😊
And the lyrics are deep. Unfortunately they still apply today.
react to RATM’s Down Rodeo
Cheers from Brazil 🇧🇷
You should See the live show of Testify in Finsbury park
They did perform at Woodstock '99 and were amazing. Here's the full performance. ua-cam.com/video/F9S-JVKw0mE/v-deo.html
If you're this stoked on "Kiling in the Name," then you're in for a treat! The rest of their catalog is so much better. I have a DVD they put out in the late 90s, I believe, that shows some incredible crowds that go way harder than the Pink Pop crowd. I hope Zach heals up enough that they can go back on tour again. I sat on tickets for 3 years until they had to cancel again.
You have to check out Down Rodeo
Gotta check out Down Rodeo next!
I think he already did
Yeah this was a strange crowd. It didn't look like the people up the back were moving at all. From my personal experience EVERYONE goes nuts to this song... like full on jungle mode.
Ratm was the first band I ever saw live, back in 1996. It was epic. There's footage out there of their first gig in like 91 and they were this good out the gate. Like they appeared fully formed.
Please do Sleep Now in the Fire, and Down Rodeo. We are here for it! You’re gonna love it
I’ve been binge watching your videos all morning starting with your Rage Against the Machine reactions 🔥 I like your wide range of music reactions. I heard you say on a few videos that rap, hip-hop, and R&B was your thing growing up. Have you heard of Harry Mack? If you haven’t, I strongly recommend. Hands down the greatest off the top, freestyle rapper of all time. Yeah I said it ! Look up Harry Mack Omegle Bars 45 or 37. Can’t go wrong with any of his many videos but these are my personal favorites. You will not be disappointed and you can thank me later. Happy Holidays !
Hell yeah
I was in that crowd. Seems surreal now. I think RATM was the only reason I went to Pinkpop that year.
Been there, too. But I didn't know them at that time :(
You need to react to down rodeo 🔥🔥
Welcome to the family brother.
See you in the pit.
If you haven’t yet, you need to check out “fistful of steel” live from that same show.
Rage is so good. Zack dela rocka is one of one.
"Put them in the RRHOF..NOW.."
RRHOF: "Fuck YOU, I won't do what you tell me! Mother REACTOOOOORRRRR!"
😄😂😝
✊🏾
I was at a Soulfly concert decades ago and Max Cavalera starts chanting "ef you I won't do what you tell me" over and over; then he tells the crowd to sing it. Me and my buddy laughed out loud and shouted "No!" but the crowd followed directions. I don't think they understood the assignment.
It seems violent and crazy, but youll never experience so much love at once as you will in the middle of that crowd just letting loose. So free.
Good choice. How about some Danzig?
through RAGE... we keep it real.
Now i know u said it’s good but would u listen to this in ur everyday life?
Great stuff!
Know your enemy studio version
Also, definitely research the video for "Sleep Now in the Fire" before reacting to it.
Revolver is a great song.
Check out the song Testify
The meaning and purpose of that song is why they won’t put them in the hall of fame , I saw body’s bouncing as far back as I could see
You want a crowd losing their sh!t, watch Metallica live in Moscow playing Enter Sandman. Helicopters and a sea of people for miles.
1996: rage against the machine
2023: rage with the machine
Great news! They are back and plan to do a tour.
Awful news! They are back and plan to do a tour. (bc those that burn crosses are still running forces. we learned nothing *screams into the void*)
ever hear of living color?
1991 and a conspicuous lack of tattoos
I can't wait to see you get lost in this band. Every song you do is going to be better than the one before
Won’t happen.
Live just hits harder. Totally know what you're saying my dude
I think if i was RATM i'd be insulted to be inducted to the hall of fame. They could take that award and put it where the sun don't shine
