I love how much valuable information you put out with some fun and reasons as to why we pay such meticulous attention to detail on such large vehicles. I remember bring my first RV home and making it look a thousand times better (and lasted longer) by starting out with a full paint treatment followed by a polish, wax and sealerever 6 months (regular washes and quick detailer between coats). Not only was there a total satisfaction of making it look better than when we got her but also the comments on how great it looked over the years, never aging as I would literally get from on top of the roof and every crevice, as well as every inch to the undercarriage. I Purchased all of these products so I could wash our Riverstone 39fkth myself. Thank you Andrew! Everything has worked exactly the way you said it would and I especially love the deionizing system!
It looked like a good day to wash that beautiful coach, being overcast and cloudy. One thing I learned quick when I owned a Black Pickup, NEVER ever wash it in the sun!!
If you are passing thru or near Casa Grand AZ, check out Luna’s Wheel Polishing in Eloy AZ. M&M used to be it but they’re out of business. So Luna’s is it now. Details at 2:30 in this short video: ua-cam.com/video/i-apndo7-tY/v-deo.html. Best $30 you will ever spend!!
Another great video and thanks for the insite to the products you use, with so many out there and you being a professional detailer its nice to have advice from an expert
wish there was someone like you here in seattle. I havent found anyone that I trust to wash the rv. its super dirty now after not getting washed for two years
I know you get a ton of comments. I live down is south La. We have those pesky love bugs, that are the hardest bugs to remove from a vehicle. We use the wet Bounce dry sheets to remove them. They work like magic, and are fairly reasonably priced. Don't know if you ever tried them, but I know they work better than anything I have ever used...
You should look into a Rupes polisher. They aren't cheap, but if you detail a ton, they are worth their weight in gold. I used to have a Porter Cable 7424 (which I think is what you have?) and they are fantastic, but the additional throw on the random orbit means the pad travels about 3 times the distance in the same amount of time. Maybe out of the price range of someone who only does one car a month or something for fun, but doing huge RVs like that, you'd absolutely love it.
Hey Andrew, I just got a new Phaeton. What do you think about TIFFIN’s/ Mary Moppins Baby shampoo-distilled vinegar wash, Advantage protectant and the use of cotton towels? The Products you recommend sound good to me as well. I just don’t want to mess up the paint.
I'm not a big fan of their vinegar wash because it's acidic and will strip waxes. I recommend checking out the video I did titled easy way to wash RV with 5 gallons of water. I have a playlist with a bunch of RV Wash and Detail tips. I'm sure they're method works but there are much more effective methods out there.
No, way too much liability and is not safe without a proper harness. you do not want us inside your coach after we have been sweating, polishing and scrubbing your wheels 😎
So are you trading out wash services for storage in his hanger? This dude needs a few more toys to collect dust in his hanger! Long ago you weren't supposed to use rotary buffers as they developed too much surface heat. Orbital buffers were the hot item at that time. So does your use of rotary require a special technique?
All of these buffers I showed are orbital. I'm personally not a fan of rotary because they have too much of a learning curve. The porter Cable dual action polisher I mentioned is the way to go 👌😎
I know you do a lot of full body paint coaches but I have seen a lot of conflicting information on how to handle decals on regular fiberglass trailers and coaches. Many owner's manuals suggest a cleaner wax but these have petroleum distillates in them which supposedly will mess up the decal adhesive. Do you have any experience with this? I talked to Keystone and they said not to wax the decals, which is kind of a pain. Any thoughts or suggestions? Great job with all of your videos!
@@someguy6659 Never heard anything. I have have been using Aerospace 303 Protectant a couple times a year. Also saw this but haven't done much research on the product but this detailer says he uses it on RVs: ua-cam.com/video/mji0TEhkr3w/v-deo.html

Not trying to start up a business or anything, just trying to maximize performance AND minimize effort/cost. I know the rule - (Quick/Cheap/Quality Pick two) but curious nonetheless...

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you charge for washing, cleaning bugs, etc. for this Prevost? I'm buying a East to West travel trailer (Forest River) with a fiberglass laminated exterior. Pretty easy to reach everything. Do you have a recommendation for keeping the exterior looking good and protecting from road grime? I have a nice platform ladder made by Werner that I can reach the roof easily. Any recommendations about keeping a TPMO roof clean?
What do you recommend to removed water mark stains on paint/ chrome? How do you removed bug juice from the front of the coach or manure droppings on the roof? What is deionized water, where do you purchase? Can you take some video feeds of the best RV Parks in Scottsdale/Phoenix?
All of the links to get everything are in the description of this video. Meguiars paint correction for water spots, I have another video titld, what is de-ionizrd water where I talk all about it. It is on my list to something about RV parks here.
Hey Andrew very informative video, nice job. I have reverse osmosis water in my shop and it also leaves a spot free rinse. Just wondering what the difference is between deionized water and RO water
Andrew been following you for 3 years maybe 4, talked to you at Tampa Rv show. Question Question how much for the system you have in the van. If you do not mind sharing and where can I get it. Thank you and great job. I was a GM for large Automotive Group across the country. Detailing was the most key factor to our industry. Blessing to you. Best regards Lee
Andrew I need your help. My rv had water or something from the Ac, leak down the sides and onto the bottom metal portion of the RV leaving a white caulky type line. I used black streak remover to take it off the fiberglass but the metal and or aluminum (as a magnet won’t stick) won’t come off. Please help
I’m not even halfway through this video, but I have all the same products as you (so far). I’m watching this in my car (parked) in Chandler (out by the airport) but from what I can see (sun is on my phone) it looks like you’re out here in the valley! I’ve been skimming YT videos looking for an answer to a question to price my next rv job. If it’s a 40 ft rig and you charge X amount per ft, that means you’re detailing and going over 80 ft (both sides). Is this the correct way to price? Or do you just leave it at 40 feet and don’t charge for the other side? Everything I’ve seen around the valley does it differently. I don’t want to charge too much, but I’ve been wondering if I’ve been pricing half off the past few years haha
Wonder Andrew if you’ve ever used the EcoPro products or know if people are happy with the paint protection .. or is it a waste of money and owners are better off washing / waxing periodically??
Thanks Andrew! I’m and old body and paint guy. Really good info to help get up to date on detailing. Btw, sent you and “little” Tony a couple bucks to grab some beer after work. Via PayPal. It’s under another name those initials are RG.

I exchange my tanks. I tried to buy my own resin and exchange it myself several years ago but it is a really messy job. Unless you're going to spend $5,000 plus a year like me, I recommend the simple Chuck system. You can send in those cartridges for replacements and is much easier than spending several hours trying to switch the resin yourself.
That's up to the owner to know that information. and if you're the owner .of the RV the rule of thumb is twice a year a year coming out of Winter and when you put it up. And if you're a detailer that's a Separate charge by itself doing the roof.
Out of curiosity how much do you charge for a full wash on a 45 foot Prevost XL? Also cost for a wax? Have you used either aero cosmetics wash wax all or Top Coat F11? If so what are your thoughts?
4 роки тому+1
There is no substitute in doing all these steps, wash, cleaner polish compound if needed, polish and final coat of Carnauba wax. If you use a wash and wax product, you get minimal protection as you can't put a high concentration of wax into a wash that has cleaning soap in it! As for these newer synthetic waxes and ceramic coating, just pass on them all. Nothing beats the durability and depth of shine of 100% pure Carnauba wax!
Hi Andrew, my Phaeton is mostly grey, with dark maroon, Gold, and some white. I ordered some black light wash before seeing the gloss workz. Do you think the black light will be okay?

Andrew, love the videos! Short term viewer, have you done any videos on waterless products you would recommend? Right now I exclusively use Aero Cosmetics Wash Wax all and associated products.
another great vid Andrew, i see a cutie little pooch in the background, Sadie gonna get jealous your givin screen time to another pooch. i really like the colors on that coach, i dont care for the black wheels though, looks kinda cheap on a multi million $ coach. stay safe brother.
It all depends where you live what's the economy look like in your state . but for something like that 280 to 290 to start. if they want roof work it's extra.
are you kidding me...I have been watching Andrew Steele yac yacking for 2 weeks now.. after the ❤️🔥 burning of his Coach he should have been put in a prevost liberty and a Newell by now as much as he has helped sponsors and other's sell there coaches each of Andrews Coaches should be wrapped named The A TEAM with Steele with Andrew driving one and a Driver driving the other.... TEAM carwash Jeff...I am a huge Monaco fan since 1995
nice bro got a 250$ job with an rv wash and "wax" tho its just a spray wax, its 43 feet by 12 feet, using a wash pole for the top and a couple micro fiber mitts for the sides. did i under bid myself for a basic wash and rinsing aide or "wax" andrew?? or is 250 OK
Ur close But it also depends where you live how the economy is going and what the market will 🐻 . since I live in Alaska since I live you have a lot of tourists come with their motor homes $280 is where it needs to be. And if they want stuff like buffing well yes the price is definitely gonna change.
@@chuckwicksimmons5813 I actually upped the price to 350$ NO ROOF in person once I saw how massive it was. Took me 6 hrs. But was hot as hell and some of my degreaser dried on a wheel and I had to polish out a wheel
@@startingtech3900 No I hear you bro heat is the worst. it's one of those things where you gotta do it in section put on the degreeser and spray it right off.
@@chuckwicksimmons5813 I only use degreaser on the wheels. But I made the mistake of grabbing something and it dried. You learn. But yeah it’s no easy job
I have tested the f11 spray product. It is very similar to the ceramic detail spray that much more expensive. When you say the f 11 wax, is it still a spray or is it a paste type solution?
First of all Andrew awesome video once again. The answer to the question of, how should it take you to wash that coach? Let's consider that you do not have big Tony working with you at the moment.. Lol... So I'm speculating about 90 mins. Lol... Thanks for the update on the fantastic products you use. This is why I hoping to get your professionalism in taking care of my coach as well. Preacherman
Thank you preacher Man! You are right on the money at about ninety minutes. When big Tony is helping, I cut it about in half. Thank you for the support, I hope to care for your coach some day.
3 hours....that's the time you take at a minimum washing us...and maybe that's a wax too I am unsure... all I know is you take your time do it right! 🙏🤘
Question. Does it matter if you use softener water to wash if you rinse with De-Ionized water to rinse to save cost? Also your link for the foam cannon is the same as the Ceramic detail spray, can you correct? Thanks great video.
You only want to use deionized water for the entire job. if you spray the pain with regular water, the minerals will immediately start to bond to the paint as the water evaporates. I only use deionized water for everything I touch. Thank you for pointing that out!
I have DI Rinse system that allows you to switch from raw water to deionized by swapping the lever positions. you might get by with this in the shade to use raw water to wash and Di to rinse but 1 you have to work in sections and move quickly and work in the shade. 2 you still get over lap and any spot you miss will dry spotted. I gave up trying to save resin and just use Di water only, it's just not worth the xtra trouble to dry with a micro fiber towel especially when I wash my RV. I'm looking for a cheaper alternative to Di resin @ $200 for a cubic foot which is about 4000 gallons of DI water.
Ordered most of the stuff off your link 😀. The foam canister attaches to???... Looks like it needs a quick coupler that attaches to a gun? Is this not usable without a DI system? The instructions are horrible.
thank you! The foam Cannon quick connects to a power washer gun. you do need a small power washer to have enough pressure to fuel the foam Cannon. You can use it with or without DIY water,. The best way is to run the garden hose into the DIY tank, and then a hose from the d-ii tank to the power washer and then the power washer hose hooks to the gun and you connect the foam Cannon to the gun. You should be able to find a good power washer for a hundred and fifty to $300.
I know this is an older video but check out microfiber madness' incredipole, I use it for all my RV/Lifted truck washes. It's one of the best microfiber wash pads i've found and would say its even gentler on the clear coat than chemical guy's chenille microfiber mitts.
I don’t like the black wheels at all, I think they take a lot away from the looks of that coach’s ! Thanks for the video, I will be checking out your list of products !

Have a blessed day.. 💯💯
Hey buddy, I know you have been a subscriber for a long time. I appreciate that. I have been super busy and have had tons of people reaching out to me with different ideas so I'm trying to keep up processing everything. Shoot me an email at ANSautodetail@gmail.com with any ideas. I'm in the middle of getting my detail company back running down in Arizona so it's tough to take phone calls right now. I look forward to hearing your ideas. 👌😎
What name brand power washer do you use? Thanks
Great videos! I'm going to order products. Will the Wet Mirror Glaze work on fiberglass roof or do you recommend something else?
Thank you! Yes, the mirror will work on the roof. I think that would be a great products for the roof's too because it's anti-static and will help keep the dust off. If it is really oxidized, I would use the meguiars d301 finishing wax but as long as it's in good shape, the mirror what is a great product. I appreciate you! Feel free to reach out with any questions.
Thank you for your response. You're the best!
Great video and thank you for doing it. what about products and video for detailing the interior, leather seat conditioner, cleaner, etc.?
Andrew - What's a good tire treatment product?
Little late - I like 303 Tire Balm after washing. Mat finish for low or no shine.
how do i go about get more info on your services ? like the cost to have you detail my coach and what location you are in ?
can you link the mop pole? thanks
I love the black rims!!
What polish and sealant would u recommend for a gelcoat rv?
Hey Andrew thanks for the great info! I need to do my black appliances. Do you or anyone out there have a recommendation?
Andrew, love the videos! Short term viewer, have you done any videos on waterless products you would recommend? I don’t have a fortune to hire a professional to come detail my rig and often I find myself in RV parks that don’t allow campers to wash their own rigs. Any suggestions on waterless options? Right now I exclusively use Aero Cosmetics Wash Wax all and associated products.
Yes, I recently did a video on washing your RV with 5 gallons of water and optimum no Rinse. It's in my RV washing playlist
RVing with Andrew Steele thanks Andrew!
I came back to this video more than a year later just to review why I got stuck on you your process and the buses
another great vid Andrew, i see a cutie little pooch in the background, Sadie gonna get jealous your givin screen time to another pooch. i really like the colors on that coach, i dont care for the black wheels though, looks kinda cheap on a multi million $ coach. stay safe brother.
Hahaha. I do to, one of my favorites. Thank you for all of your support
What kind of pressure washer do you use?
This guy is all over the place ‼️could not watch the whole video 🤯🤦♂️ =😆
How often should chain your wash mitt?
It all depends on how dirty the coach is. Every few panels is what we like to do.
good info brother but did you fart at 1:47 ? lol funny
😂😂😂
What’s the price for doing wash & wax 44 Foot Rv
It all depends where you live what's the economy look like in your state . but for something like that 280 to 290 to start. if they want roof work it's extra.
How long did it take y'all to fully detail it?
Hi Andrew do you know anyone in Central Oregon that does the same quality work as yourself?
are you kidding me...I have been watching Andrew Steele yac yacking for 2 weeks now.. after the ❤️🔥 burning of his Coach he should have been put in a prevost liberty and a Newell by now as much as he has helped sponsors and other's sell there coaches each of Andrews Coaches should be wrapped named The A TEAM with Steele with Andrew driving one and a Driver driving the other....
Have you tried or tested the F11 wax?
I have tested the f11 spray product. It is very similar to the ceramic detail spray that much more expensive. When you say the f 11 wax, is it still a spray or is it a paste type solution?
RVing with Andrew Steele curious about the spray.... thanks A!
How much can you generally charge for a bus that size?
how much can i charge to wash and 27 foot motorhome
I would like for you to clean mine. How do I make reservations?
I'm not in that business anymore.
Love the black wheels
That coach looked clean before you even started to clean it.
Seriously!
What about the roof?
Wow!!Alot of big money toys!💪😎
Good vid !
Thank you!
Thumbs down for me on the black wheels...looks odd on an RV.
Great video but when do you watch the roof and what do you use
We do not, it is too much liability and to safely clean the roof commercially I would need a harness system.
I love the black wheels sweet
Where are you located
what about the top
I don’t like the black wheels at all, I think they take a lot away from the looks of that coach’s ! Thanks for the video, I will be checking out your list of products !
I hear you, marathon has a picture of this coach with chrome wheels before my client took delivery.
You make me feel like I am washing my coach with sandpaper ... :-)
Great tips, thanks Andrew! Just an FYI, your Foam Cannon link is the same as your Ceramic Spray
Thank you for the heads up! When I get home this evening I will fix. learning all of this stuff on the fly but definitely appreciate you looking out for me.
Beat me to it. Gone through 2 cannons in a year. Need a better one.
