I love this cube! It's super smooth and fast plus the magnets are just right. When I first go it I had to tighten the tensions a bit. After lubing it was even better.

It works for every single puzzle. There's nothing different about your puzzle. What are you having trouble with?
It the corner piece in first. The last thing you put in is the edge. If it won't go in, loosen the screw a bit

Yulong : Normal corner cut is all about tensioning and reverse stuck some time

You don't have to buy stickers for kylin V2 M if you like black cubes whether after some time yulong will be good [not good out of the box because of overshooting]
*Which to buy* : Kylin 10$, Yulong 8$
If you really care about 2$ then buy Yulong.

I actually chose this cube as my main over the Gan air sm. I don’t know if it’s about my turning style but I don’t really find it uncontrollable. I enjoy the speed and it’s just overall amazing

Wow your review was like the opposite of J Perm's. He said you should only buy it over the Kylin V2 M if you really needed to save $2. I disagreed, because my Kylin completely died after 100 ish solves, but this didn't. I can't justify maining this cube because I like the MF3RS3 M a little better, but I think it might be my backup. It's really good and really underrated.
How did your kylin die? I haven't set it up much and did a lot of solves and it is fresh

It's a great puzzle. Some UA-cam RS like to make extreme comments with quality of puzzles. You could get the exact same times with this as any other major cube on the market. It depends on what feeling you are looking for.

You can use any scramble or just look at old comps.
I have the yuxin kylin v2 m. I like it and it cost under 20
I have both the stickerless and stickered on the way. The question is if this one can be hopped up just like the WRM? Because if so, then why bother with the WRM if the Yulong V2 can be upgraded to same level of quality without spending an extra $30? I would be curious to know if this is the case.
The cube does not really matter. You can get the exact same times with a this puzzle, a $5 YuXin Little Magic, or the $60 Gan X. The difference is mainly in how it feels and the extra options you get. I've actually gotten nearly the same times with $3 MF3 without any set up as well as an out of the box Rubik's Brand. For someone spending extra money on other cubes, they often do so with the idea that they will enjoy that puzzle more. It could be because of the feeling or just the fact that they have a puzzle that some famous cuber uses.
Agreed. It's all about branding and ( no pun intended ) spin. At the end of the day, it really comes down to the user / athlete. Thanks for the candid reply. On another note, after a bit of sleuthing, I believe the Yulong V2 M may be a Meilong with magnets. Hence the low price point. Is this any coincidence that Moyu just recently, also, came out with this?

It is for sure not a MeiLong. The design is a bit different which I will be unboxing today. The bigger thing is that YJ was the parent company of MoYu. MoYu has now broken off and although it seems that they can both use designs from the past for things (MF3 being a GuanLong with tracks) they are not two separate companies.

YuLong is nice but I've found it really works better with lubrication, so you would want that with this cube. Little Magic is light and decent all around. Monster Go is very flexible if you prefer that.

Depends on what I don't like about the cube. Clean it out if it's too slow.. maybe add Lunar. Nebula for a gummy feel. Weight 6 or 8 to slow down
