- Chris Rwakasisi was a state Minister in the office of the President in Obote two government. Given his closeness to Obote, Rwakasisi was a very powerful minister who had a lot of powers over government administration. This gave him a lot of authority, which also brought him problems after Obote was overthrown by Tito Okello Lutwa. Rwakasisi was consequently arrested and remanded to Luzira but later condemned to death when the NRM government took power. In the second part of Living History, Agness Nandutu takes us through his story#NTVNews

History will be told.
He was a flamboyant young Charismatic man who wowed Obote when the statesman visited Ankole. Obote gave him a car...just like M8-1 is giving the likes of Kusaasira. We thank God that he was released. He would have been released earlier but he failed to denounce Obote and UPC...He loved his party all the way. It's good he later became an ardent evangelist
Only God will perdon this fellow when he ordered the killing of Rwandese and chasing them away from Uganda 1982>saying Nkaija kare agyende kare> and Embwa kwekuzarira umucyihongore cye Enyana isigara eryebwa unfortunately his not talking about that history although we lost our loved ones may God accept his repentance!!! But let him ask for forgiveness from us too.

Banyarwanda would casually say that they came to Uganda long time ago.
Now...
Rwakasisi would also say that "those who claim that they came long time ago should leave as early as possible"
You are right my brother. Only God knows the truth about this man concerning the death of Rwancweende and the expulsion of Rwandese from the whole of Ankole Region. I was 12 years old in Primary 5. My Rwandese classmates were matched from our class at around 10:00am and we never saw them again until M7n captured power in 1986. Some families came and settled back..but majority came and sold their land and went to Rwanda.
Stop the hate.he never mentioned that. Mind you,it's obote who asked the governor to open borders for Rwandans
Very strange
