I did try installing LED in my reverse lamps from seeing your 1st video and that was when I experienced the problem with them staying on when the car is off. I did order some resistors from your 1 affiliate Salvage Cadillac so maybe I will try those 1st or just order these? @bradzyczynski660 OK, some people that complain about these issues are XTS owners. Not sure what’s different here but definitely make sure your LEDs wherever you get them from are CANBUS compatible
The XTS have a rear powered sun shade that goes down automatically when you enter reverse. If your leds stay lit even dimly, the shade won't go up because it assumes the car is in reverse. Tried a different brand "canbus" led and had that problem.
Question, on the ATS-V have you replaced the amber light in the housing when the car is running while autostarted? I checked on auxito site and they make a switch back one just curious if it actually works.. wanted white while running and amber when turn signals are on Thanks!

I found I had to add resistors when I switched the reverse bulbs to LED. Otherwise they stay dimly light on
It could be because they weren't CANBUS compliant. I haven't had this issue with any LED's I've tested but I've heard of it!

@gimpo312 the CTS also has the sunshade but I’ve never had any issue there

I have not seen that, but sounds cool.
I have sylvania LED (not great) but works for me only issue is it give me a passive code for B2545 backup lamps malfunction. No CEL
The code may be because they aren't CANBUS compliant. Consider trying another!
