I just lost my dad in March. I'm 4min in and already in tears.
@@bigwhiteslow man I feel you. I had to take a break an go back to finish watching.
I would sit there and listen to that man talk for as long as he wanted to tell those stories . I wouldn’t care if he repeated them. Such a treasure to have and hear him speak.
Tony Tess, what a great video of your Dad. To see the Olds 442 still in pristine condition is awesome!!
Your poppa totally loves it Tony this a is a great gift to your father in law Tess . This is hands down the most awesome tribute of the year . The joy on his face made my day
WOW!! What a wonderful tribute to your father!!

That was an awesome video. People of his generation deserve so much respect.
You're a good son, Tony .
You both made his day .Much love yall

Tess and Tony what a awesome tribute to your dad you can see the excitement in his face with him telling the stories it brought back memories of my racing days, I need to have someone check my roof for leaks it seems to be getting wet in my garage. Thanks Tess and Tony for sharing the video. God bless and as always be safe.
Ill be 50 this summer .. i can remember my dad telling me some stories about hot rodding back in the 50’s 60’s and 70’s .. the stories the older generation tell are PRICELESS !!! Your dad needs a big ole hug from all of us gen x folks !!! Lol
It’s absolutely priceless that you all are video cataloging his memories…. So much joy and happiness is coming through to us in the audience. Please keep including him in future installments…. It’s absolutely amazing to watch. ❤️
I definitely want to get as many of his stories on film as possible! Tony’s sister has been audio recording a lot of his stories too, but video captures the excitement in his face.
@@MissMidnightMaverick This video add so much to the previously posted video with "Pops", with his reactions to viewing the compiled, edited, posted video, hearing some of the selected comments, knowing so many others viewed this, heard the stories, appreciate it.
Then to add the video capture of his telling more details about the "Corvette Story". The natural way he is recorded seems that just as within the previously video, with video recordings inside and outside of the car, he behaves his normal ways, self, seemingly unaware all of it recorded -> beautifully natural, real, meaningful with all of his human expressions in his voice, tones, intonations, non-verbal expressions.
Clearly, obviously Tony's father, "Pops" is a very caring, special, sensitive man who appreciates others, especially his family, friends, heritage and most importantly His Creator, Giver of All.
Thus, since You show, read some of the comments, especially with "Pops", decided to post these comments that All'Yall will possibly benefit and know at least this individual much appreciates these videos with Tony's father, "Pops" among all of the others too.
All'Yall are clearly, obviously, certainly genuine, sincere people, individuals, humans, family.
All The Best and Much Success in Your Quest(s), Health, Happiness and Well Being 😊 , Sincerely ☺
My pops has all the same stories and no matter how many times I hear them, I can’t ever refuse him. Love the content with the old man! Great stuff!
The only thing cooler than seeing Tony cruising with his dad in his dad's Oldsmobile is seeing his dad's reaction to the video. Very cool! I wish we all took the time to record and write down stories from the older generation.
Thank you all so much for this! It brings back amazing memories for me ❤
I've been 57 years old made my eyes water beautiful what you do for your father pops😇
My dad is 86, 87 in December. I love listening to him talk now. Their generation is a breed we are losing quickly.
Talk to your elders people!!
I lost my dad in 2015 that's a pain that hurts so bad I so miss his old war stories and just hanging out in the garage! Your dad reminds me of my dad alot Tony and I can tell you love him very much God bless you all and thank you for giving me great thoughts of my dad by watching these past few videos!

Tony and Tess it is such a great thing that you guys did for your Pops, we call my Dad Pops as well, this video made my day it reminds me so much of the history I have with my Pops loved seeing the three of you together in the video you all keep enjoying each and every moment.
As a 70 year old dad and grandfather and car nut I know what Vince is feeling right now. What a great thing you did for this man. Good job kids and great story's. Thank you.
I could watch Tony's Dad talk all day. The history inside him needs to be told. Great guy and great video.
This is so awesome. I use to race a 442 with my old boss. He told me all about mondelo heads when we were racing back in the late 90’s early 2000’s. Best time of my life. Thanks pops. ❤
One of my favorite videos you guys made, the stories/memories/nostalgia of this is priceless!!! And your pops is right Tony, that is one phenomenally gorgeous car!

The smile on his face says it all
You could tell just by his passion in the story how he felt as it was happening and he was taking himself back in time as he to,d them. GREAT STUFF !
I love this video. I lost my dad 16 years ago and miss him every day. It's great to see these memories being made and dad happy happy..
You can tell tonys dad has a heart of pure gold and nothing but goodness in him. But hearing old race heads stories are always a joy. We will be 60 or 70 one dsy at a meet doing the same thing to the younger generations
Love the stories! Thanks Tony and Tess for the video.
I remember taking my Dad for a ride in my 67 Fairlane GTA with a 428cj in it. Dad had a great time and seems like your Dad did too. Mine passed in 95' not a day goes by that I don't miss him. That CJ was far from stock, it was a blast.
I miss my Dad he would be 84 if he was still alive he had so many early 60’s and 1970’s drag racing stories sadly my dad was killed racing his original 65 427 cobra in the late 80’s so listing to your Dad brought back memories of my Dad and love of cars he gave me.
Thank you for the great video ❤
Great video. Love listening to Tony’s dad tell his stories. Enjoy every minute you have with him, he’s definitely a treasure.

The more I see of Tony, tess and pop the more I love this family! Great ! Solid people
Tony, spend as much time with your dad as you can. My dad was the same way, he passed at age 56 in 2000. I miss those days. Because of him, I build old hot rods and think of him often.
He reminds me so much of my Dad. He passed away 2 years ago and I would give anything to go back and go on one more cruise with him in his 1952 f-100. Awesome video guys.
Man you guys really made that Olds pretty as hell !! Loved “Pops” story !! Great guy ! Very thankful for y’all doing that video and allowing me to see Tony’s Dad .. Man they look alike !! 442 on 2 wheels !! Your Dad reminds me of my old folks !!
I think every once in awhile if he feels up to it to cruise and just let him tell stories really brings a spark back to him you can see it it’s really humbling to see
Now I get it,
it's really not just cars and racing, it is all family and love.
Much respect to Vince.
You can see Tess's love for Tony by how she loves his dad.
Great video.
Well done.
Mr. Politano is a pretty cool fellow, enjoy his stories, and how excited he gets talking about racing back in the day.

Cradle, what is your Dad's name?
Brother to watch you and your father. Your relationship is so blessed. I wished I could have had a dad like that. My father dropped kicked me in the back of the head when I was 3 years old with steel toe cowboy boots on. He wouldn't let my mom take me to the hospital until my eyes rolled into the back of my head and I died. I was dead for 2 minutes. And somehow I came back. To see a relationship like yours bring me joy cause I know mine wasn't right. Love your father. Praise him for being such a great guy. Not many are like him. I know from experience. Love him. Spend as much time as you can with him. He is 1 in a million. You are blessed brother.

Great job 👌
I'm not an olds 442 fan but definitely a fan of old car stories. Tony and Tess thanks for sharing pops with us.
I love his stories! Tony and Tess are so patient with him letting him tell them to all of us! I'm sure Tony has heard them all plenty of times! I owned several Oldsmobile's in my youth. I hope I left as many old guys telling stories about my taillights as he has!
I lost my Dad 11/3, our 1st new family car was a 69 DZ Z28. That is my dad, I miss him every day.
What a wonderful special man and great father .

I was litterally thinking God is so Good, while hearing your Dad talk. A second later pops says "Well you know Tony... God has been good to me"!
Luv the ole man's stories, and really love that 442!! Well done Tony and tess what a great tribute to pop's.
Man this video brings back so many memories of me and my dad. We had an 86 442 and we blew the motor when we first bought it. It had that 305 in it so we put a 350 bored 30 over and man she was a runner. Makes me miss my dad. Love the video Tony and Tess.

I had to pause this video halfway through and come back to it because it had me all chocked up. I’m building a Fairmont for my Dad currently….he has early onset dementia and I’m trying my best to make as many memories while I still can. Tony your Dad is awesome, I love hearing OG’s talking about the race scene back and the day….seemed like it was so much more fun in there time. You and Tess are so awesome for making this video and thank you for sharing. I’m sure I’m not the only racer who got hit in the feels from watching this. Thank you
Oh man, I was tearing up the whole time while I was editing this video. I’ve heard all these stories so many times, but just seeing how happy he is telling them hits me right in the chest.

Tony your ol man has a lot of wisdom. Great stories o could sit around all day and listen to your dad tell stories. I lost my dad 2 years ago and that's some of the things I miss most are the stories.
Tony, your dad is so cool, I love hearing him tell about racing that beautiful 442 of his. I could listen to him talking about racing from the 70`s and 80`s all day.
Tony, love seeing and hearing all the stories ya Pops tells about the good times he has had in his life. You're a great son to keep that 442 and the Legacy alive.
Thanks again to your Dad for sharing his stories and his badass 442. Thanks to you too Tony. I really miss my Dad . Especially around drag season (OH) I really enjoyed both of these videos.
Guys I love this. I love listening to my dad tell stories about the ole days street racing in small town Mississippi.
Loved listening to your dad tell stories.
love those racing stories,im 60 i have a 66 comet bb,4 speed,i was racing one night at the local spot. beach creek road,i was in my comet,i was racing a 396 chevelle.we were side by side right before the finish line,a boy who lived on the road we were racing on had a 66 fairlane.he had gotten a big run and go way back behind us with his lights off,and he passed us in the ditch line right before the finish.it flipped us out so bad we dont even remember who won between me and the chevelle.
Your pops reminds me so much of my grandfather. Loved hearing his old Italian stories with his accent. Thanks for bringing back some great memories. Absolutely loved this video guys. Your dad is a legend!!! ❤❤❤
If we don't sit down and listen to the old timers, all that knowledge will be lost! Love hearing them!
Your dad is a very passionate man. He LOVES that car. His stories are the greatest. Thanks for sharing him and his stories to us. Let him know that these will be on your page as long as you guys have it. Dad is a cool cat.
I love Oldsmobiles! I’ve had six of them. When I saw the video of your Pops talking about back in the day and and Joe Mondello was awesome! I had the pleasure of speaking with Joe personally on the phone twice asking tech questions about my Olds project. He spoke to me like I was an old friend and both times I was on the phone with him each time for an hour. And to get an engine from the V.O. Twister would be incredible. I would love to hear more stories from your Pops. I bet he could tell ‘em for days. Nothing like stories of Hot Rod days of the past. Love your channel! Keep ‘em coming! We saw y’all at Yello Belly too. Look forward to y’all coming back. Take care!
Way to go with your dad tony, i lost mine when he was 58 i was 21. Enjoy all the time you can with him 🙏🙏👍🏻👍🏻
This is awesome. I’m taking care of my dad who has cancer and other health issues. Not sure how much longer I have him, but he wants me to have his 68 Mustang. I want to try to get it running and take him for a ride in it.
This got me choked up. Thanks for this. My dad is 10 years younger. Hope I still have a lifetime more with him.
I love 442,s and dad is wonderful man love him to
Tony your Dad is awesome! Can't get enough!

The beasts from down east NS 🇨🇦
Dads got to love them when they're alive... Cuz you miss the hell out of them when they're gone
Pops gets to see his ride thrashed, well it was made for it and what a proud dad,its more about a family then it is a car,and it saddens me at 16 in Sitka Alaska I had my 70 Olds 442 ,455 yellow with black stipes and we moved and dad said I had to sell it .But ive had many more so just a memory.was a nice w30 car out of seattle washington, like my GTOs,chevelles, novas,i would buy and sell for years, teenage dealer.
Awesome thing you did for your Dad Tony. Something he will never forget. You can definitely tell he loves that car.
I am traveling all around Italy with my family right now. I loved see your father reaction when the video was shown to him. Tell him one thing Italian do well is they take of their family members!
Super Sweet Oldsmobile. My Moms First Car Was A 64 Olds F85. Robin Egg Blue Color. Always Wanted To Build Her One.
Another awesome “Pops” video! He is still so in love with that car it’s great to see. You two are fantastic to put together his stories and include him in you videos.❤
I could listen for days! Wish times were still like that.
Really love how y'all get him to tell his story's without him really realizing he telling his story's..... Really cool!!!!!
After we turned the camera off he said “don’t tell me when you’re filming me, I’ll get too nervous” 😂
I'm so glad you're getting this on video. One day these will be treasured memories.
Tony this brought tears to my eyes seeing you and Pops on video because I knew I have none of mine to remember him by😢 "God Bless Yall"
Wow this is a tear jerker look at the old man so happy love his stories ❤️ great guy with a great son
What a neat old dude.love these videos
I used to have a 1969 when I turned 17 that I bought with my own money for $650.00. It was the same color with a t10 4speed, 400 small block , and duel exhaust. Sure wish I still had it. It was my first car. Brings back old memories. 😊
