How a Sailor Catches Lobster

Feed your crew from the Sea! While sailing around the islands, it’s fairly common to meet other cruisers who source fresh fish & spiny lobster for themselves off shallow reefs.
Captain Jeff explains how he got into spear fishing during his travels in the Bahamas. Using a pole-spear for lobster diving is one of our favorite methods that makes for a delicious dinner and stretches the boats provisioning. Can you catch fish? And if so show how ,there are small talapia type looking fish out here in tel aviv that love wounds on legs ,i always wondered that might ne good bait witj a spear😂.let me know

Yes! We normally use longer poles for spearing fish, but still possible with the size in the video. Just requires a little more stealth and practice in the water as you track them down.
