I grew up in southwest but had many friends in South Philly. I used to joke with them about some of the guys we used to see. They had a certain way about them, the way they talk and walk. I used to see The old timers on passyunk avenue scolding the younger guys on the corner. They would talk while covering their mouth acting like they were smoking a cigarette. But they would be real animated with the other hand so you could tell when they were chewing one of the young guys out. Maybe it's just me but I've always have been very aware of my surroundings.

Grew up in S Jersey with my best friends’ dad a capo and when I worked for their front construction co in S Philly as a teen in 90s I got to help build Joey’s townhouse in Brinton Estates.
