My laptop messed me up the moment i installed Twinmotion any version from 2020-2023. It crashes whenever model is heavy with layers and does not support Path Tracer also. You did a very good job in doing this video.
Hi, Thanks for your video! How long does it take to render a scene with the RTX 3050 on your Dell? I know it depends on the quality you choose and the complexity of the scene itself, but let's say it's a regular kitchen or bathroom elevation. I'm choosing a computer now and can't decide on a graphics card.
@@RayanSati-i6kI’m running on a M1 Pro 16Gb and is on the limit now but the good replacement for are it would be Archicad is far more intuitive, faster to learn and more forgiven
Useful information thank you ❤ I've looking for a laptop/tablet for creative work. general art, Maybe video editing, Interior, and possibly product Design... Graphs, mindmaps, writting, projects... And learning / School. Has internal storage to hold all my stuff, can run multiple programs. I'm looking for a double screen preferably to spare myself having to get a separate monitor... I have seen a lot of people recommend ipads but ios is too limited for me Personally... Still on the search for the perfect one but this video has helped a lot though ! Great content girl!
Hi, thanks for sharing, although a second monitor is a nice addition, I didn’t have one for a long time and I can say it’s not absolutely a must, it’s more like a convenient tool for multitasking
My computer doesn't work well, I am just starting studying at art school and we are only use autocad and adobe photoshop by now but I know I will need something better when we start rendering, the thing is that this laptop is so handy because it is also a tablet!! so It helps a lot to do my sketches and retouch photos without a graphic tablet. Thanks for the info!!
I currently have an evny x360 about 5/6 years old. I cannot upgrade the parts according to HP website. Would buying the newest edition be sufficient enough?
I just got a laptop last year but I can’t use it as much because the RAM is less but I plan on updating my iPad. Do you think I can use an iPad for Interior Design as a student or should I consider buying a new laptop all together?
Thank you so much for your videos Andrea! I have been looking at this model but I have a question..do you do renderings yourself and can this computer handle one of those programs? I am a little lost on deciding which program to use to make my sketchup models look more realistic.
Hi there! My computer can actually handle the rendering program that I use which is enscape, probably it would not be able to handle 3ds max or corona but with enscape it works just fine :) hope that helps
Hello Andrea, thank you for this video. Please kindly recommend laptop for using 3d max and archicad. Thought about MAc M3 pro, but a little confused that now all software work on it.
I get that Macs are easier to carry and they look nicer but to be completely honest with you, I tried and it didn’t perform. I ended up getting a gaming laptop and it’s amazing, it’s so fast with design software. These are the most powerful computers so you will not run into overheating or slow performance, etc.
hii....have u made a video about how ur journey like how it started and all the steps that u took as a student and the courses u took and the college u went to and stuff like that because i would love to get to know and follow all the steps...
Hi there! I did made a video about my interior design journey, you can check here: ua-cam.com/video/_esz6zY3r60/v-deo.htmlsi=GROTasMB19np0gHY If you have more questions let me know!
I was also looking into renovo when I was purchasing my first laptop, it also seemed like a good option, just make sure the ram memory is at least 16 or higher and I think you should be fine :)
Thank you for the information! I have a question on how much RAM I need if have a big file that is bigger than 1GB. I work with rhino vray and sketchup enscape and the files can get very very big up to more than 3GB, when I insert all the furniture models. And also with the adobe suit as well as CAD. I do close other 2d software when I need computer to work in 3d but it is still very jammy. What would you suggest me to have? I have M1 max with 16 GB RAM but it is clearly not working well enough for me.
In a perfect scenario, to run all those programs smoothly 32 GB of RAM is ideal. I have 16 in my laptop and sometimes is slow, so I make sure I use one program at a time, I always keep my files on an external drive, I make sure it’s always updated, etc. Hope that helps.
True, if you are enrolled in a university sometimes they will give you free access as a student, otherwise we do need to purchase the licences for the softwares
This video could not have come at a better time! I have been using my mac air 16ram M1... using enscape and sketchup... and it is really horrible and slow (perfectly fine for photoshop and illustartor though)! so i am going to switch to a pc laptop... still figuring out which one.. The slowness of the mac laptop actually adds hourssss to my workflow whiich is really bad... so I'm hoping that with the pc laptop I'll be able to finish projects more quickly
Video not needed. Replace interior design with any digital profession and everything is the same. Watch one of the other hundreds of laptop review videos this one is pointless.
well its not really, if someone is looking into interior design they might not know that a laptop for any digital profession is also suitable. This video is definitely not pointless no need to be rude
Before this is premiers I just want to say MacBooks are not necessary. Some of the best programmes work better with windows laptops/ computers.
I agree :) I use windows most of the times
My uni doesn’t allow Macs for interior design students.

Soo i have a question....do you think using a macbook pro with the latest m3 max chip and the 32gigs of ram is a good option for architecture school?
I was going to ask the same question! Also i wanted to know if revit have a alternative since Mac doesn’t support it

Ahat laptop do you use?
Hi is dell xps15 good with revit, lumion, autocad, skp, and enscape? Thanks!
Autocad, skp, enscape and revit are okay, I have never used lumion on my xps15 so I would not know about that one.
@@aandreatru appreciate your reply on this! Have a great day :)
Does it overheat ¿
Hi! Thank you for the great video. What do you think about Lenovo Thinkpad mobile workstations for architecture?
I already bought the MacBook Air M3 should i buy another laptop or just stuck with it? I need help
macbook air is shit for software u shoud've take pro
Thank you so much ma'am

Thanks andrea this is a useful and great work and nice vidio
You're welcome 😊
Hello Andrea, which Dell XPS do you have? There are so many models to choose from. Thanks in advance!
I had the XPS 15, now I use a legion pro 7, but the XPS 15 was a good laptop too
hey thank u for explaining it in detail. can i download lumion software in macbook
No you cant unless you use virtual machine and it significantly decreases performance
I just got a laptop last year but I can’t use it as much because the RAM is less but I plan on updating my iPad. Do you think I can use an iPad for Interior Design as a student or should I consider buying a new laptop all together?
If I were a student I would get a laptop over an iPad. :) iPad it a nice to have but I use my laptop more than the iPad
Thank you so much for your videos

Can’t you use revit whilst using parallels on MacBook
You can, I tried and I don’t recommend. It’s slow.
your videos always helps me out.
Glad to hear it!
Hello Andrea, thank you for this video. Please kindly recommend laptop for using 3d max and archicad. Thought about MAc M3 pro, but a little confused that now all software work on it.
Looking for MAc just because its light and easy to put in bag

What about apple macbook pro ? Is that a good option? and thanks for these information , your videos are amazing
Mac book pro is a good option if your memory ram is good enough for the programs that you want to use :)
Thank you for this video ❤

If you have more questions let me know!
Can you or would you recommend an iPad and which one?
I have the iPad Pro 11 inch and I really like it!
Is a RTX 4050 GPU sufficient enough or is it better to spend the extra on the RTX 4060?
Which software and for what are you planning to use your computer?
Spend extra on an RTX 4060
How about MacBook Pro with 8GB ram ?
Depends what you will use it for, but MacBook Pro is a good laptop option.
Hi, how many gb has your graphic card nvidia geforce? 6 or 8?
Mine has more! 24 or 32 is what I recommend for heavy softwares. But 8 also works for most people.
And the ram?
What about Lenovo Legion 5 pro? Is that a good option?
I was also looking into renovo when I was purchasing my first laptop, it also seemed like a good option, just make sure the ram memory is at least 16 or higher and I think you should be fine :)

Mac is good but depending on which program you want to run on it, it may be or may not be the best option.

amazing video keep up the great content
Thank you so much✨
I have i5 with 2 gb graphic card will it be good for interior design
I recommend 4 or 8 gb minimum
Would you recommend yours for interior design college?
I recently updated my laptop to a legion pro 7 and it’s the one that I would recommend, it’s so good.
so helpful
I'm glad!
Thanks
I'm late to this video, but if I just bought a MacBook Pro with the M3, it would be good enough, right?
Depend which program you want to run on it, but overall you made a good choice. The only time I would recommend windows is for realistic rendering
