Thank you so much for this explanation! I knew beforehand that this is caused by the lack of receptors in the optic nerve, but I could never find any explanation on why that SPECIFIC distance from the image is not seen, and this video explained it well!!

I did this test years ago and it worked But today I’ve been seeing colors and one time for 3 seconds I couldn’t move my eye But this time it didn’t go away the addition sign
Yeah well it doesnt work for me, have been sitting for 10 minute with my left eye closed staring at the crossing going further away and closer slowly to the screen and still can see the plus sign at the corner of my eye… always
