- I totally suck at Mega Man games and was surprised I could actually beat one without using save states. I just made this video to show how I beat the bosses in X4 with X.
Some are harder with their weakness like Frost Walrus
Most are extremely easy
I guess I had a little stage fright because I could have done better.
And please don't use Ground Hunter against Slash Beast. He's such a cool boss it's disrespectful.
I like how this particular game actually made the boss weapons relevant against the fighting patterns of the bosses themselves (e.g. using the web against the walls for the mushroom).
All of them (except for Web Spider and Frost Walrus) are diagnosed with Spark Mandrill Syndrome

He's prolly the only Maverick that requires you to use their weakness in a specific fashion for full effect.

It would have been nice if the Repliforce bosses displayed Maverick symbols during the rematches.

The energy tank not going down is because of the Ultimate Armor (holding down-arrow while selecting X on the PC version)
No, it's because the helmet of the forth armor can reduce the energy consumtion of special weapons to nearly 0, not cause by the ultimate armor
EnterAName It's not the ultimate armor. It's just the fourth.
On the contrary, it doesn't affect the charged version of the weapons.

Wow, I didn't know you could destroy the web string using Twin Slasher. I thought the weapon did little damage to Web Spider himself, hence why I usually fight him first.

I hate slash beast so much. I wished that he was bombed by 1 million fireworks. Everyone watching this, you should hate slash beast too. Also, I wished that Capcom would use a better weakness reaction for SB when he is hit by the Ground Hunter. The way I would portray this is that after SB is hit with a ground slasher, SB tumbles away from the player and then lays on his belly while dizziness stars circle around Slash Beast's head, while Slash Beast has stars circling on his head, while Slash Beast makes a non-aggressive dizzy face. After Slash Beast is defeated though, he could make a shocked face with non-angry eyebrows during his defeat.

Cyber Peacock is weak to Zero's version of the Rising Fire, not X's; therefore, X has to use Soul Body.
In Japanese version, when Cyber Peacock gets hit by his weaknesses, he’d scream “Hidoi wa!”, which means “How cruel!”

if you mean his weapon energy its probably because he got the helmet upgrade. it gives you unlimited weapon energy as long as you don't charge the weapons

If you're using Zero, you're right. If you're using X, you use Soul body.
