I read a theory somewhere that the ending ties into how the world ends up flooded in Megaman Legends Now I have never played that series, and I should, but because of my lack of knowledge of Megaman Legends, I have no idea how accurate that theory is

The one thing I love most about most Mega Man final bosses is the fact they have a tendency to transform into gigantic mechanical monstrosities that end up changing into human sized forms that are far more powerful or doing the opposite and going completely mad from failing with their schemes.

They're fully aware of their situation and they didn't have a chance to change their fate despite wielding such power.

Ciel as a ZX cyborg variable who luckily met him as a human roasted & lampshaded this twisted irony & enact a barrier around Weil. Weil my man....ya shouldn't had given her more powerpoints than she already had duud...she's already op at that point....OH WAIT!!...She's Zero's & X successor with similar role to Alouette!!
Also there's a neat trick to beat the bosses a little faster using model A. If you set the buttons for dual attacks, you can use the charge or laser shot at the same time you can use the homing shot. I use it in this order: Hold both attacks, shoot the homing shot first following quickly with the laser shot. Though it does a little more damage with Grey the trick works both of the characters
He implies that if you pick Ashe it means Grey didn't survive his escape form laboratories and if you pick Grey it means Ashe never survived the fall after they were ambushed.
If you pick one protagonist, the other one never exists in their independent storylines in the first place. People need to stop this nonsense, as it's never officially confirmed.

The story simply goes on as if the other protagonist never existed; so the assumption that one protagonist is "killed" is apocryphal. In other words, an "Are you a boy or a girl?" selection (similar to the Pokemon games) is pretty much the only factor that the ZX protagonists' existence depends upon.
i really loved this game. After megaman X8, I took a hiatus of playing megaman because I was too busy with school and other popular games at the time. I skipped Megaman Zero series and ZX and I dove into ZX Advent while it was in stores at the time. I found out about it randomly looking around the game section of a store and it reminded me how fun Megaman X games were. So i had to ask my mom to pick it up.
I never understood why Prometheus and Pandora's DNA couldn't be sampled. You could clearly beat and sample the biometal users without blowing them up. So why are they any different?

Level design and bosses are great gameplay wise the ZX sticks to zero but the controls just feel even tighter 👌. The story is good enough but voices are a drawback. I know this may sound a bit fanfic but it would be cool for Prometheus and pandora to have a second phase by using the model W
