She's so pretty😩❤ I never missed her videos, always here to support my favorite Attorney!!❤ Love you Attorney, keep safe always!!❤ Thank you again for this helpful video🥺❤❤❤
Hi Atty. Tina! Thank you so much for this video. It really helped me become more familiar with the common workplaces for lawyers. I'm currently a senior economics student and I really want to study the law and become a lawyer. I want to understand how the law works and how I can help make it work for the most vulnerable sectors of Filipino society, but I also want to involve myself in policy analysis and policy formation. More than defending clients in court (although I am also alright with taking that up at some point in my career), I want to believe that becoming a lawyer will help me become more involved in policy analysis, specifically in creating programs and policies that will help the poor and unemployed. But the people I know say that if I want to involve myself in policy analysis, then taking up a PhD in economics might be a better approach since lawyers only craft the wording of the policy, whereas economists directly contribute to the content of the policy itself. As I said, I am currently a senior student in economics, and I love economics. But I cannot see myself taking up a PhD in economics because it does not have the clearer and more direct humanistic component that I find in the law. A PhD and even a masters degree in economics will require a deep dive into numerical and econometric data that are all about the behavior of economic agents, while a law degree (at least to my knowledge) will require a deep dive into legal provisions and cases that are all about the actions and stories of real people. My plan is to take up a masters degree in policy analysis after I take up law so that I can get both of the things I want. In case I don't make it that far, I hope to still help vulnerable groups by practicing law in the public sector. I'm just not sure if I might have missed something in my initial plan. Do you think it's still a good idea for me to take up law, or should I just take up graduate economics instead? Thank you so much po!
Thank you so much for this. I am an incoming fourth year law student and these questions are what my friends and I usually thought of. Thank you in advance for answering! I am specifically eyeing for UP College of Law, and my first step is to take and pass the LAE and get accepted, do you have tips and recommendations on how I can pass this and get accepted the first try, or how high or low are the chances of getting accepted? But there are also a bunch that are strict about coming in at a certain (earlier) time. So do your research :)

You have different options, you can work with your college degree or apply in paralegals and law clerks if your college degree have acquired minimumum amount of requirements such as legal management coure (which have business laws, etc), or political science course (which covers constitutional law, etc.). For more advantage, you can migrate to other countries, my top suggested lists are in US, Canada, Australia, UK, and Norway (have a little research about the financial and the application process if you are interested). However, for overall, I suggest that you have to try it again and try it atleast until you passed the bar exam, have a determination and preseverance of aiming thay kind of dream. I'm an aspiring Filipino-Canadian lawyer and I find it interesting to answer your question. Usually it is common to work abroad in US, Canada, UK, and Australia. Choose the English or Bilingual language countries. But english language countries are mostly preferred. It depends on their requirement if you wanted to be a lawyer in those countries and continent I've mentioned, you might be studying in their law school for year/s and pass the bar examination (only on the location where you studied) because the philippine bar is a different jursidiction to other countries.

I have question po I am a grade 10 student and my parents are like telling me to not choose being a lawyer cause it takes like 9 years or 10 and its really hard daw po is that true?
It's true that becoming and being a lawyer is hard in reality, however, the years of studying is depending on the law student. Usually, the law study is only 4 years and the distinct reason why some of the law students who failed to pass the bar examination for the first time are studying for multiple and several years is because they must study again and pass the bar examination for the second or third time (it only limits up to third try), if you ever failed again, you will be a refresher and pass the bar examination for the fourth time and again and again, according to the Rules of Court of the Philippines.

[1] The minimum length of becoming a lawyer is 4 years but it depends on the law student because sometimes if you fail the bar examination, you have to study again and pass for the second time, and so on. [2] It must be any 4 year bachelor’s degree in arts or sciences with field of concentration: political science, logic, English, Spanish, history and economics. The minimum requirements to admit in Law School whether they provide PhiLSAT (Philippine Law School Asmission Test) or no any admission tests. It depends on the law school you want to study.

hi is it Possible If i work in america as a lawyer?
Hi Atty. Is it possible to be a law student and a mom? I have a 2-month old baby right now kasi. But I plan to apply for law school next year pa po. By that time, 1 year old na po siguro baby ko. Hehe thank you po 😊
Sorry to blast out an answer but I find it interesting. Yes, I admire that kind of responsibility, there is no age requirement and limitation in studying law in law school. God bless on your journey as being a mother and a law student.

Depends on the prof, but I've encountered a bunch who were like that 😢 Justice Leonen of the Supreme Court used to SCREAM at us, it could be heard in the hallways hahahuhu. We studied because of the compulsion of fear hahahahaha

HONEST QUESTION: MAY SILBI PA BA ANG PAGIGING ABOGADO? PSRA KASING WALANG RESULTA AT KWENTA NA ANG PAGIGING ABOGADO NGAYON.
Ang dami ko pa ring trabaho, so yes, I think lawyers are still essential naman hahahaha
Law should help make the lives of the filipino comfortable not complicated. Nag iisip ako kung mag engr. Ako o abogado sa future.
Unlikely that none of her batch from UP chose to work with the Public Attorney's Office (PAO), Nasaan na ang Iskolar sa Bayan para sa Bayan mantra, tho I understand maybe it's just their personal choice
Haha wow, looks like you know my batch more than I do. Go track them down, you’re free to ask them one by one 😜
