- This is a video of me polishing this prop 1911 pistol to a mirror finish.
In this video Im practicing on a prop because I will soon be making another video of me polishing a real 1911 firearm
This was a prop and I couldn’t properly desasemble it for the polish but was still able to get successfull results and i can’t wait to make more videos on how to customize your firearm or any metal pistol /rifle

Such a crude way to polish. Why not disassemble instead of packing all the moving parts and holes with polishing compound?
@@mekanicgames295 this is a $17 BB gun airsoft gun it’s a toy made of a metal frame so I thought it would be cool to practice my polishing and dident want to take the whole thing apart because it’s a toy and it doesn’t come apart like a real fire arm

Step by step you want to start with 320 sand paper then after that sand it some more with 420 then after that use the 600 grit sand paper and then also get some 800 sand paper then get 1500 sand paper and then finish of sanding with the 3000 grit sand paper bro u must use all theis sand papers to get that mirror effect after your done sanding bro then you start buffing it with some polishing compound and your done
Are you using polishing cream .?? Also have yu ever wet sand it before .??? If it was all black .?

What about the serial number ?
The cereal number is ingraved so it does not get erased
