This actually worked! I tried other methods, some making the problem worse such as trying to add, then remove, another language. That gave me _two_ unremovable extra unwanted languages! It worked perfectly. Thank you!

If I use Baraha 8 software in Windows 10 pro (Version 2004)in Office 2019 the multilanguage bar appears or else it is not. In older versions of windows 10 Pro like 1903,1909 etc there is no problem even if they are updated to latest 20H2 version. But the Windows 10 Pro 2004 version this problem exists. No use with many of your techniques suggested by you. Please think in this line as expert and give me suggestion. Will be waiting for your reply...

I used "Set-WinUserLanguageList en-US " in windows powershell. After running this command and typing Y or [Y] or Yes the keyboard is still working. How to remove it?

It Works !!! Thank you, thank you, thank you !!! Don't worry if you use a variant of English. I wanted en-AU instead of en-US. Just do the powershell commands as shown by Muradi and Win10 will switch to your default version of English, in my case en-AU instead of en-US.

Hi Debil Ciuju. Please do the below instructions: 1. Update windows to the latest one 2. Do a defragment and optimize the boot drive 3. Do a disk clean up 4. Update keyboard drive on the device manager 5. Make sure you have enough space on the C drive or boot drive 6. Delete temporary files by typing run on the start search and type both, “Temp” enter and delete files, skip if a file is not to be deleted. Do the same with typing %temp% on the run box. 7. Empty the recycle bin 8. Restart the computer 9. Try to add a language bar If you still have issues, please send below screenshots Click on the language list on the taskbar and take a screenshot Take a screenshot of language settings where you add language

I had 3 keyboards UK , Singapore , US. I have UK keyboard so want to remove other 2 , however after following this only Singapore Keyboard removed. The system wont allow me to remove the US keyboard and windows 11 keep defaulting back to US keyboard even after UK selection

You need to add remove the language English and add your Language from the settings. If still you can't, please send screenshots of the issue to our FB messenger, we will help you
OH GOD! You solved such a huge problem of mine. But after doing this, the language button in the taksbar disappeared altogether. I use two languages, English US and Hindi Phonetic. Though Win+Space does switch the language. The setting inside the Windows Settings (or inside control panel) does have the option to make either the language bar or the floating language button on the taskbar appear. But that option only helps to bring up the floating language bar, not the language button. Hope I'm clear enough.

This is not happening in the earlier versions like 1909,1903 but commonly happens in 2004. If earlier versions updated to 20H.. also, the language property will be retained. Please check this. I have all versions of windows 10 in different pcs. Problem happens in 2004 version with recent update. Old versions will not have the problems..

Time ago I had the same problem. Try (Using CMD as an administrator) execute "sfc /scannow". And now you'll have keyboards you want to have.
