I love these videos because I always think I know all of it already but I unusually end up learning one or two new little tips.

A true master of their craft forgets more than their students are learning.. but still keeps trying to learning more and more.

There always something I didn't know about Affinity Photo!
So may of these very practical tools. With the 2.x Serif goes in the right direction with this software.
I ditched Photoshop a while back... The transition wasn't easy, but I'm happy to support non renting software. And Affinity Photo as so many clever tools.
There are only two things I hope will be improved. Interacting with the UI and layers get slow downs at some point when dealing with (not that) many layers. Like selecting layers in the layer panel, etc.
That and a "smarter" selection tool (or a background removing tool). I find myself using free online tools then bring the cutout in my comp in Affinity Photo to clean the edges.

It would be very nice if I could have the full align window pinned/docked the same as the layer panels(appearance, stroke, stock, layers, color, transform, character, etc). Also please add a align to key object function.

Very good tutorial. Thanks, When spacing evenly, it would be handy if Affinity spaced the same distance from the bounding box as well.

Very nice explanation, but distribution with nominated layer could have some UI representation (some drop-down menu like align to). Now it is hidden. I was trying to use it few days ago and did not found the way to do it. Anyway - great job, thanks!

I hate it when people say it's "easy" when I've just spent half an hour trying to find the wretched spacing/alignment button. Of course it's easy when you know where it is and what it looks like.

I use Affinity as my pixel editor but use Capture One to my to edit my raw's. It would be really nice to see Affinity come up with a program to replace or go head to head with Capture One/Lightroom. The time is right as Capture One is not interested in looking after their customers and Lightroom is rental software. A raw editor program such as this that would work seamlessly with Affinity Photo like Lightroom works with Photoshop would be sweet!!

Will there be artificial intelligence in affinity Photo?

Affinity Photo does not even have an inverse mask option on raw files (develop persona). I guess it will be a loooooooooooong way before AI is implemented

I don't understand why the developers of this program are procrastinating in downloading an update that supports languages that write from right to left?
