    it takes weeks to months for rocks or heavy objects to move. we have a mat on a piece of fireboard which is on a cement flooring and nobody walks near that end of our livingroom. i keep a fence near it too so our dogs cant get over there to pee. several years ago i noticed the mat was moving positions, i assumed it was because of natural vibrations from the rest of the cement floor.
