Max Verstappen And Charles Leclerc Respect After

- Max Verstappen started the Bahrain GP in P2 with Charles Leclerc on pole. After lap 1 he maintained his position and had a great battle with Charles Leclerc after the first round of pitstops. They were exchanging positions, but after a lock up from Max he had had to drop back and wait for the 2nd round of pitstops to have a go again. However he couldn't keep up with Charles and therefore Red Bull decided to pit Max Verstappen again for a 3rd time. There Began Max's issues, he had a power steering issue while he was still running P2. However even with the issues he defending from Carlos Sainz after a safety car restart. His problems only got worse and he lost power and eventually had to retire. In the post race interviews, Max congratulated Charles and they had a brief chat about his issues.

Honestly Max might be extremely upset when it happens and swear, but after the race he's literally like ''happens'' and congratulates Charles, smile on his face, very nice. Love these 2 being friends
In the heat of the moment they sure all are on the adrenaline mode but once the race is over, they are just young men with the same passion.
I love how Charles really wants and is interested in listening to max and how his race went❤

I really like how Max is trying to change the stupid narrative of that annoying fake Nerflix series, he is a really nice guy which happens to be extremely competitive and fast, he is not the enemy of Hamilton or anyone, and I love how Leclerc is nice to him too, thats the way, no bs, not using the press, not using politics, just 2 very fast guys fighting for the championship

It’s plain obvious RB need Max more than Max needs them so you think they gonna risk that by giving an extension to Checo directly after he “purposely crashed to stay ahead of max”? The amount of times Checo played a big part in that championship win is well documented. When the time came for max to repay his teammate just once what did he do? Checo didn’t work hard to earn his seat? You think sponsorship makes the difference in work ethic? Every driver on the grid is funded by sponsorship or Rich daddy money even max 🤦🏼♂️
Max is a good guy, extremely competitive and hot headed but a good guy.

To be fair to Lewis, he comes from a different era. The paddock is all different these days, a good portion of the grid are in the same friend group and the older drivers are on the outside.

Well as a die hard Max fan I can say that Max can be a prick from time to time especially in the car.
He is cold ruthless and only cares about winning.
However outside the car he's clearly just a normal guy who gets on with everyone perfectly.

Since I have used to practice athletics, in my teens, I can only understand this from their conversation:
Charles - I have beat you while having issues.
Max - You were lucky, because I have had these problems., and all this in front of the camera in the most subtle way. These guys are contenders in a world championship, in a very competitive one where they go as far as cheating and in some cases sabotage their own drivers, in their own works, so that the other one can take the title… this sort of interaction is made just to sugar coat ten times the heat of Hell’s Kitchen. At least.

Restart had nothing to do with steering. Charles was Just so smart there to put verstappen on the inside
two things can happen simultaneously, max’s positioning was sub par because charles was wise about his own, but not being able to get the wheels straight exactly when you need to certainly exacerbates that disadvantage

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan to the Max 😅🤯🥵 but he suffers from entitlement he has to tone it down a bit. See how he gets along with those who are not his team mates yet.. He needs to be mature about situations like Perez's. He has to be a a team player rather than assume that Checo is his pawn. Besides, he still has to make-up for causing him to lose 2nd place in the drivers championship last season. Radio acknowledgements aren't enough 🤞🏽😒

Max has no entitlement. He is focussed on getting the best result for the team. That means optimal work from the team and optimal work from Max himself.
Max didnt lose Checo P2 overall lol You should learn to count.... with the position shift in Brazil Checo would have have been 1 point!!! short if P2 in WC...... Checo HAD to beat Charles in Abu Dhabi ALSO if Max and Checo HAD SWAPPED positions in Brazil...... Do the calculations correctly....
Max gets along great with all his former teammates. They all are still friends. Pierre, Alex, Carlos, Daniel. and Checo himaelf blew the teamship by cheating in Quali in Monaco. He confessed to the team crashing on purpose in Monaco and Max will never trust Checo again. He works with him but nothing more. Not anymore. And you bet the team hasnt forgotten it either....
