Lovebirds can’t recognize the way home sadly. I have two but lose one when my mom open the door and he fly off. I still got another one and i will take the best care of him. Thank you for rescuing the bird. It would be nice if someone found mine and returned him😢

This is a very good story that teaches us to be kind and responsive. When my cat went missing, I couldn't eat, sleep or calm down for a week. I can imagine how the owner of this tiny bird was worried when he could not find her for 2-3 days. So, I thank you that awesome family that help a little bird to find his home.
You are wondaful for caring for and returning this sweet bird.

What a great gal to rescue the bird. I was surprised that she didn't keep the DIY cage. Obviously, the owner doesn't need it but the rescuer's family will cause they are bird people now.
BTW, I'm going to use their idea of buying baskets from the 99 cent/Dollars tree store of I ever need a DIY cage. ingenious mom & sister!

So sweet! But I need to know if Sultana and her family have birds now! I found a parakeet in my yard a few years ago. Although he flew off before I could catch him securely, we fell in love. Soon after I adopted a pair of parakeets from a local rescue. I love them. So fun and chatty.
Im so glad someone like you found him and then found him his way home. I know its hard to give him back lol. He is so cute. Im glad the owner is the kind to let him be free in the house and not caged all the time. But as you can see that itself can be dangerous. I wish all involved happiness and good fortune in their lives.

"I don't think anyone expects a bird in the house", dude, there are LOTS of birds in houses. Birds are very popular pets and greatly loved. This entire family were so welcoming of this lost bird and did an amazing job looking after him.

My friends and I did the same with a little fluffy dog that was being chased by bigger dogs. He jumped into our car, so we took him & posted on social media that a cute little dog was found. He was so sad. We set him up in a large kennel with food, water and blankets. That evening we got a call from an older man, who drove 90 mi. to take a look at the lil dog. When the older man arrived and the dog saw him, we knew it was his dog. The dog went off like a rocket, spinning, dancing, smiling, and jumped into the man's arms as soon as we opened the kennel door. Turns out the dog was stolen. He was a purebred & that's been happening around where I live. We were so happy man and his bff were reunited.
