Major flaw here: after buying the andante card and before entering the station you have to validate the ticket on a machine. That starts the one hour countdown. Also every time you change metro, or every time you re-enter a station, you must validate again. The time left will appear brifely on the machine. These are nfc tech, so you have to really touch the machine's surface til it beeps. These are also rechargable. Once you spend all the voyages loaded, you can use the ticket vendor machine to replenish the card. You can use it also to travel not just on the metro, but also on the city bus network and on the suburban trains, up to the zoning limit.
