Amen to that “you stole that” comment. 90% of whatnot sellers are like that. A few days ago I seen someone on whatnot pay $150 over market for a spiderman 252. The seller kept saying this is the cleanest copy you’ll ever find this is easily a 9.8….. and people actually believe him
I hear you my friend I went in what not 1 time and found my way to big influencer stream they hyped dollar books up to $10 and acted like the buyer just bought AF15 for $1 😒. I was like nope I’m out . One good thing about comic bubble maybe some these influencers will go away . Rant over 😆. Nice pickups
I watched a guy named vintage monster recently appeared in a show I frequent and his buying was INSANE - he bought 14 books in ONE show for a total of $2896 - in his defense these were nice books - but he seemed to have ZERO regard for costs once he began bidding. I wonder if it’s the same buyer you are encountering.
Check out the Dave & Adam's show ("dacomics") from last Friday; they were selling "big boy" slabs all show long, and one guy took down a significant portion of them. Had to be at least $15-20k, maybe more.
I've bought many Pops and Comics on Whatnot, even won some expensive autos, etc. One thing these sellers do that I find do annoying is many act like Con Men. OMG, U got the best deal ever! Cant believe we let this go for so cheap! You robbed us! What a great deal! Half the time the deals u get are a little under actual markst value. But most of the time i see ppl bidding and buying stuff 10-30% higher than what they can get it on ebay if theu just look. Many buyers on whatnot are clueless to prices. They think they're getting great deals all the time. I laugh when i see how they overpay. If I'm interested in a comic book, I'm religiously checking high and lows on the book. I will bid up to a certain number, then stop. If a 40 dollar raw book hits 35 dollars, i stop. Then see fools still bidding until $60-70.. I laugh and say damn dude overpayed again. Then the fool seller comes out and screams how great of a deal they got. I'm like, ya all he/she did was make u more money than u expected, lol.
No ones if their books will rise. Also on whatnot when they have a book 50 percent more then what they sell for I call them out. I say dude stop bsing that book is way too high
You know the key to my heart. Great pickups my brother!

Another set of great pick ups! These copper bronze age keys are really 🔥🔥
I tried Whatnot a couple years ago. Don’t miss all the scammy sellers.
Moved on from whatnot to instagram. I have to say there are some deals to be had even with all the shenanigans.
Love me some Claremont X-Men goodness…nice pick-ups!
You were talking about Whatnot and A-1 comics, the coincidence is I had some exclusive Whatnot books signed at A-1
I think the XMen run from 94-150 is a great run, like Avengers 150-200, are two of my favorite runs in comics for me, nice grabs Alex!
Alex the "WhatNot" Hoarder. Great video as usual!
Haha. I’m going to delete the app now! lol.
Preach on, Brother Alex!
I do agree heavily on the whole “that’s a steal” 💩 man annoying.. I stay far away from those sellers. 💀💀
Really loving this stage of Alex the comic hoarder literally hoarding x-men books!! Thanks for sharing with us my man 🤙

Some people are aggressive on there. They freaking buy every lot. It’s crazy.

Nice Haul!
Good ones! Speaking of homages that 135 is a cover swipe of X-Men 56

U becoming a whatnot junkie..😁
Obsessed!!!!
@@AlextheComicHoarder same hurts the pockets
Don't sleep on this one, guys!
Blue Chip Comics,is a scam cause I brought like 10 mystery boxes and got nothing but junk books so anyone selling mystery boxes stay away from.
