Many people probably overlook this, but that moment with Tania Johnson disarming the bomb vest on the girl is probably one of the most emotional moments in the whole movie. Not bad for an action comedy.
To me, Soo-Yung saying “爸爸,你好不好嗎?” to her dad on the phone was much more emotional to me. Tania Johnson disarming the bomb was more epic than emotional to me.
All throughout the film she's been training to disarm a bomb ("it's a little different in the practise room"😂) but here it's on a child, she's doing her best to comfort the child (maybe in her last moments) as well as trying to save her 💪🏻
An overlooked thing about this movie is how smart the henchmen are. Once they saw how protective Lee was of the artifacts, they realized they can knock them over to distract him and give them free hits. Small detail, but really cool, I think.
Saw Rush Hour when I was 10 as a new Blockbuster release. To this day 4:10 has me dying laughing because after all Jackie Chan did to save the priceless Chinese artifact, it still got shot to pieces! XD
Always love how Rush Hour keeps still shots of the fight scenes instead of the same shaky camera that many films do. Easily why this and John Wick are some of my favourite action films ever
2:00 Sorry Agent Whitney, Agent Russ and the rest of your colleagues upstairs are currently…indisposed (incapacitated (dead)) at the moment. I’m afraid you’re on your own. 🤷♂️
Chris Tucker’s Carter was so outside the box in personality and dealing with confrontations that it rivaled Jackie Chan’s outside the box fighting style

@popobaba3687
I agree, her poem and the pace of her movements/breathing always gives me some flutters and feelings.
My part was when the fbi started to go to war. When Lee grabbed the girl, they started to light the bad guys up
Jordan Davis 21 for an of but

He is definitely outstanding in acting in movies.

4:16 LMFAO!!! Dude let the whole room have it!!!
2:40 It's funny how Carter isn't afraid of the bomb going off in thr first place but later scared of the bomb going off.
He knew Juntao wouldn’t do it because the bomb was too close, and the blast would kill him too.
Jordan Davis 19 off funny but
I mean a stray bullet CAN set that C4 off.
I've always loved Johnson's voice. It’s a real shame that she passed away.
