waiting on my pixel 8 pro to arrive in 2 weeks, Coming from a P6P, how's everyone connectivity on 8 pro ? i know the pixel 6 kept having issues with network, and how is that December update treating ya?
I haven't had any issues, but I saw on Reddit someone said to turn off "Adaptive Connectivity". I did that when I first got it, and actually forgot about that until you mentioned it lol I assume it helped because I haven't had issues. I should probably turn it on and test to see if I notice a difference.
Simple, fast phones without apps I don't want. I use calendar, Gmail, voice, photos, maps, sheets, notes, messenger, and all work great. Quick updates.
You said you haven't felt compelled to go to any other phone, so does that mean the Pixel is your daily driver now and what other phones were you using... Good review
Yes, the pixel 8 pro has been my daily driver. I will likely switch to the S24U when that comes out, but aside from that I'm happy sticking with the Pixel 8P. I also have the iPhone 15 Pro Max, S23U, and Fold 5.
@@techwithashley The P8P also pulled me away from my 15 Pro Max. I didn't expect that at all. Got it to use as my work phone but it got bumped to my personal daily and the 15 Pro Max got demoted to work phone. It's surprisingly good
i picked up the 8 pro when it first came out and have to say it is the best phone i ever owned.....BUT, the battery is terrible... i dont know if they fixed any issues but i would use spotify and android auto for the maps while working and by 6pm of only using those 2 would leave me at 20 percent vs my 13 pro max that would still be at 80 percent. they have a sale going on which makes me look at this phone again but im skeptical.. Even the 15 pro max battery life wasn't as good as the 13 which was surprising
Yeah I heard android auto kills the battery on the 8P, not sure if that’s something they can fix with a software update. The battery life is its downfall… although I’m sure it could be worse.
@@techwithashley not sure if it could be worse lol but the wireless android auto would make sense.. makes me worry about an every day phone as iphone does everything pretty well. although im an android fan, the battery is a huge concern
Have you had any issues with the wifi speeds? My P8P is struggling to get over 5mbs while my old S22 is getting an easy 100+ every time at the same distance and location from the modem. Is this a hardware issue or something else?
Already tried that along with several other fixes from forums and reddit. I used the "forget" function to delete my network, typed in my password and my wifi was seemingly back to being fast again. Then over the next 5 minutes, the speed dropped steadily from 100mbs. down to 1mbs. It deteriorating by the minute.@@techwithashley
I am very tempted to get this phone! This was my first time seeing your content. I like the comprehensive review, but I wish you could make it not so obvious that you are reading a script. Maybe it will just take time.
Totally agree! The delivery is really “stiff” and clinical. Maybe just try relaxing and really just be yourself and connect with your audience. Keep it fun and natural, instead of sounding like you’re simply reading bullet points off a list? Good editing, lighting and details. Just give them to me as two friends talking about the phone over coffee. Best of luck!
Pixel 8 pro made me realize you have to try this stuff yourself , it's a lot of nefarious things going in phone reviews. This phone is perfect .. from the reviews you'd think this tensor chip was going to have your phone smoking and it was just going to be a lesser experience. LIES. This phone does everything exceptionally fast and fluid. Feels amazing in hand. Decent charge . I see no discernible difference in user experience from my s23 ultra. Love this phone
I GOT MINE FOR 699 WITH THE PIXEL BUD PRO. I GOT IT IN BEST BUY SO I SOLD MY 7 PRO FOR $500. ITS WORTH THE UPGRADE BUT PIXEL 7 PRO FEELS MORE PREMIUM IN MY OPINION.
Very informative. I would suggest however to not be as monotone in your delivery when speaking because you have the type of voice that makes people kind of sleepy. No offense because it was a great video as far as information was concerned but maybe just pep it up a little bit.
Is this scripted? It just feels as if you’re reading something.. just try to add a bit more flavor if that makes sense like where viewers can’t really notice if you’re reading a script
Most popular UA-cam channels are scripted. She's doing fine. Much better than a bumbling invalid. Try to focus on the information she's sharing rather than how she's sharing it. 😜
I've really enjoyed it. I think the only thing I miss is stackable widgets, I'm not sure why it's not an option on Pixel. But other than that it's nice not having duplicate apps for calendar, play store etc. Depending on what Samsung device you have, it might have better battery life. The S23U has the best battery life IMO.
Hello, If you are coming from Samsung you will not like the display quality, the color temperature is on the warm side and there is no slider to adjust it, things will appear yellowish and you not be happy.
Please don't hate me, I said what I said to help you change the way you talk, like talk casually show some emotions, excitement even when you don't like something, show that. ❤️
Interesting. At least, you have honesty to say that Pixel 8 Pro is not perfect. I've seen a lot a review when we shouldn't speak anything negative about this phone. Personally, outside of Samsung "bloatwares" ( not Samsung apps, part of Samsung ecosystem), i prefer S23 Ultra ➡️ Samsung OneUi: 1️⃣ Cloned apps enabled easily 2️⃣ Samsung way to implement Split View and Floating Windows 3️⃣ Samsung Mode & Routines 4️⃣ Samsung DEX Then you add 6️⃣ Samsung fingerprint scanner 7️⃣ More zoom capabilities 8️⃣ S-Pen 9️⃣ 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy and impact on Power and Battery life. It take time to make a video so good luck for your channel

It's a huge upgrade and I've had both the G1 and 2 Pros.
Look at you tackling the MKBHD phone of the year!!!!!! Let's goooooo!!!!
You can unlock developer options and force peak refresh rate always .
Subbed. Straight and to the point. Keep it up! 💪🏼
Thank you!
Earned a sub! Very well done.

Holding down the shutter button records video and does not take burst shots.... other than that thx for your review!

how does the snapchat camera compare to apple?
I think the imagine quality it fine, but it's hard to zoom in. Even if you try a little, it'll go all crazy, not smooth like iPhone.
Good video!🎉
Thank you 😊

Least she's trying and her confidence is high some people lack self confidence and use their hands to show off products without talking.
I have seen some very unacceptable video problems on reviewers' videos. The lens changing and stabilization glitches that are very noticable
