      Thanks for liking. This recipe is for 6 chicken whole legs, about 2kg+. So if you're using a different amount of chicken, you can adjust accordingly. If you felt its too much, perhaps you can reduce to 1 1/2 to 2 tbsp for 2kg of chicken.

    I thought I mistaken with the salt and sugar and I stopped the video when it added 3 tbsp, something is off so I decided to check on the comments. Lol It not just me who have a same thought. To make it easier with all the spices powder, I just bought a curry powder, it is just a same powder used in the video. Anyway thank you for the recipes

    • @Huangkitchen
      @Huangkitchen  4 роки тому +4

      Yes, I actually used 3 tbsp of salt as the amount of chicken I used is more than 2 kilos ( 6 whole legs). For that amount of chicken 3 tbsp is not too much as a yam goring here pan should be stronger in flavour. You can reduce the amount of salt if you are using fewer chicken meat. Hope this helps to clarify.

    how to do like village park nasilemak chicken gotmany herbs still can outside crpys?

    • @Huangkitchen
      @Huangkitchen  7 років тому

      germin jan hi I think its the coating of cornflour that makes it crisp. Herbs just add more flavor to the fried chicken. Hope this helps to answer the question.

    • @germinjan1627
      @germinjan1627 7 років тому

      Huang Kitchen ,when I put more corn flour the chicken skin become soggy. Is because of the ratio of corn flour not properly or the ingredients onions lemon glass ginger
      that I blend too watering? Thanks huang

    • @Huangkitchen
      @Huangkitchen  7 років тому +1

      +germin jan you the spice should not be too watery. Maybe there’s too much oil on the skin. When almost done, you need to bring the heat of the oil up to high for a minute or two and continue to fry the chicken before removing from wok. This way, the chicken will not be too oily.

    I live in UK difficult to find curry leaf can I use coriander leaf instead

    • @Huangkitchen
      @Huangkitchen  7 років тому +2

      +Shima Hassan sorry, coriander leaf is different from curry leaf. You can just skip the curry leaf. Just be sure to marinate the chicken well with the spices. The outcome will still be as good. The curry leaf is just to give it extra aroma. Hope this helps.

      This recipe is for 6 whole legs of chicken, which is approximately 2kg+ of chicken. 2-3tbsp of salt is the recommend amount for 2kg+ of chicken. You can also adjust according to taste.

  • @ImYXiang
    @ImYXiang 4 роки тому

    I don't get it, a few of your ingredients doesn't match your text descriptions. Such as 5 shallots (12 in text), 3 stalks lemon grass (6 stalks in text). Did you accidentally mix up sugar and salt? 3 tbsp salt is really salty! I also saw sugar is more than salt in your video. Please clarify? Tq.

    • @Huangkitchen
      @Huangkitchen  4 роки тому

      This recipe is for 6 whole legs of chicken, which is approximately 2kg+ chicken. The amount of ingredients in the text is the amount that is used for the recipe. 2-3 tbsp of salt for 2kg++ of chicken is the recommended amount. You can reduce the ingredients depending on amount of chicken used. The amount of sugar is much lesser than salt, as too much sugar will cause excessive burning of the exterior skin when fried. Hope that clarifies.
