Looks smashingly delicious. Will definitely try it. Btw, your Rose Pineapple Tart recipe is really excellent. I tried the recipe this CNY (2019). Tweaked it a little by using a combination of margarine and butter. Everyone who ate my tarts said the tarts were delicious, including a highly critical person who's very hard to please. She liked the tarts particularly because they didnt have that strong "cow" smell of butter. We say "soh" in Cantonese. Thanks for sharing.

i think this is all misunderstanding of language. in indonesia, "rendang" refer to the type of dish that is originated from minang. so there are many type of rendang such as rendang beef, chicken or even vegetables rendang. while in malaysia "rendang" means the type of dish prepared. for example a soupy dish is called gulai so there are gulai kari(curry soup), gulai lemak(milky soup) etc. so rendang in malaysia is refer to the dish being cooked in slow cook until it tenderised and the dish become dried up. so in malaysia there many type of rendang such as "rendang minang and padang" which is originated from sumatra, "rendang tok" which is popular in perak malaysia and nothing to do with rendang in indonesia, "rendang kelantan" which is popular in kelantan malaysia and totally different from the one in indonesia. even every part of malaysia have their own type of rendang. so it is all misunderstood of language...
