We hope you enjoy our reaction! What a powerful episode this was, with Gerlat showing how much he cares about ciri and Yennefer making a difficult choice. Leave a LIKE if you enjoy and COMMENT we'd love to hear your thoughts, and SUBSCRIBE for more!
Yes, I agree, I love how they wrote Jaskier's character in S2. I love how Jaskier is able to speak from the heart, bring some clarity and still inject humor into the situation.
What an episode!!! Finalllllllly, geralt and ciri saying that their each other's family!! Plenty of Jaskier and it just keeps getting better and better!
Heavy hitting episode indeed! All the mains seem to accept things about themselves and their relationships with others. Even Fringilla. But oh mu goodness, that MOMENT when Geralt arrives to meet up with Ciri and Yen. Never seen him kill people in anger, the look on his face! Then that Confrontation with Yen. When he told Ciri he was going to slay a monster, for a minute I actually thought he might mean Yen.
From what I heard (I think from people that read the books, if I'm not mistaken), Geralt knew that after he did his last wish the Djinn was going to kill Yennefer for trying to imprison it, so Geralt's wish was something in the vein of tying their lives together (in the sense that if she gets killed by the Djinn he dies too, and the Djinn can't kill its master), or something like that, and Yennefer took it to mean that he had tied their lives together in all senses, not just that one.
@@SpartanandPudgey yes geralt wished for their destiny's to be tied together. so as the lady above said the djinn couldn't kill yen as it would kill geralt and their fates are now tied. that's why yen in season 1 says "that's why we can't escape each other". she's mistaking her love and longing with a feeling of being drawn together by the wish tying their fates.
Based off of the last wish quest from W3, the magic from geralt’s wish to bind their destinies together was a large factor in their love for each other, and only after that magic was broken could they truly love each other free of magic for the first time
Ok, for all the people talking about Geralt's wish...no. Just no. No one knows what Geralt's wish was except Sapkowski himself and he has told no one. NO ONE. Don't try citing the games, they are non-canonical. Not trying to be a jerk, just tired of people trying to say someone knows what the wish was.
Ohhh okay!! Fair enough 😁 It can be fun hearing people's theories too I find!! But good to know, maybe it's something they might reveal in future seasons 😄
@@SpartanandPudgey It's almost like some people think Sapkowski did a "What was Geralt's wish?" thing with Netflix like Martin did the "Who is Jon Snow's mother?" thing with HBO. He didn't lol.
I believe geralt deduced that yen would take ciri to the broken monolith. geralt knows voleth meir is wanting to escape and then go home... and he knows the only gateway are the "doors" ciri has shattered open. voleth meirs hut is in a forest in the North buried in elven ruins... cintra and the surrounding lands were orginally eleven and therfore the nearest gateway is the monolith ar cintra. but now voleth meir has escaped via consuming pain and has some other plan before she goes home...... jaskier is great, he's also great in the games, a real character lol and yea I do sort of know what u mean about tissaia looking like an older pudgey except pudgey has erm how can I put it politely... a much more interesting figure 🤣 its compliment for sure, the actress playing tissaia is a fine looking lady for her age. u guys must be pumped for finale if u haven't already seen it/recorded it! lots of big things getting set up for the next seasons 👍
@@SpartanandPudgey it's also great to hear u guys are gonna play the games again. the fringilla scene is reminiscent of the gaunter o'dimm scene but also voleth meir reminds me somewhat of the hymm quest on skellige if spartan can remember that. so much cool characters and lore that's what makes the witcher such a great world 👍
honestly Tobas we dont know just yet. some people have asked for Arcane, its on our list but I dont know if it will be directly next. We have wanted to watch season 3 of Titans as well. We are also going to do the witcher animated movie after episode 8.
To all the annoying fans of the books who shit on this brilliant show: "Soooooo ... Lock me up! And Sock me up! And-take away my TV - you'll still fail to convince me that Henry's "Witcher" is not for me .."
Yeah I'm a great Witcher fan but i hate all those people " In the book... blabla" I don't want to see the same thing like the book. Just copying the book is 1: lazy 2: not possible because some things are just nof good for a Series. Just enjoy the show they made and don't start complaining because its different than you wanted
Sigismund Dijkstra is the head of Redanian Intelligence, or secret service, so he is meddling in everyones business ..... manipulating everyone! ^^ Great reaction as always...can't wait for you to react to last one after Ciri is possed by the demon! 😃👍 IF you want another great fantasy tv-series ( my personal opinion !) is "The Wheel of Time" by Robert Jordan....it's on Amazon Prime if you got that one
thanks! excited to share the finale with you all. Funny I (Spartan) used to watch my uncle as a kid play the wheel of time video game, so im somewhat familiar. not sure if they are related. will take a look at the series 🙂

that face to face with Yen was epic. definitely the highlight!
I thought he meant yen too initially

Interesting concept really.... such clever writing ✍

Yennefer took Ciri to Cintra by request of the Deathless Mother (Voleth Meir). She asked to bring Ciri to that place ^^
ohhh ok that makes sense!
I ❤️Gerald man of few words but his emotion says it all. I agree Spartan how Gerald will protect Ceri at no cost.
In an earlier episode Voleth Meir told Yennefer to deliver Ciri to the shattered black door just outside Cintra.
But do you know how Geralt knew they'd be there?
@@SpartanandPudgey Most likely cause since Ciri made the portal he probably put it together that she went where she felt most familiar or safest
Yeah probably!! Makes sense 😁
Gaunter O'Dimm scene from witcher 3. Gaunter freezing time and then poking eye out with a wooden spoon. This scene has been taken from the game.
thats the one! epic scene. my man knows his witcher 3 🙌🏼👌🏼
Can't wait for you guys to see ep.8! I'm sure you guys will enjoy the finale.
