I would love to see a "The CGI of Portals". I know you already have a video on teleporting, but this would be more specific and exclusively about different types and styles of portals in cinema
You should do faster-than-light travel next! Star Trek’s various depictions of the warp drive, Star Wars’ hyperspace, GotG’s hexagon portal things, etc.
What I love about these types of videos is that they also show behind the scenes footage that I have never seen before. Like that BTTF stop motion transition to the real car.
I just love how Hiro Nakamura from heroes is on the thumbnail, he’s one of the best heroes in one of the best superhero shows, and has great values, he’s basically one of us haha, even when the show declined a lot and Peter got nerfed in the later seasons he was great, i was expecting him in cgi teleportation or even speed but it made sense why he wasn’t there as he just disappears, I’m just glad to see him, it was truly one of my fav childhood shows.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing (I mean the Tardis was once painted pink in the episode titled the Happiness Patrol from the late 80s but that doesn't count)
Had to look for this comment! I have to assume it was tongue-in-cheek because it's not even just "a blue box" but it's _frequently_ referred to as a blue box in the show itself.
The "Dark" time travel really does look insane. There's the kind where it forms the massive black orb and then the kind showed at the end with Alternate Marta's orb time machine. If you've never watched through that show, it's well worth it. Actually has an ending despite being a Netflix show. Also there's a fun scene in 2 seasons of The Umbrella Academy. In season 1 a blue portal appears in a courtyard and all the siblings go out to investigate. One of them throws a fire extinguisher into the portal thinking it would help somehow. Then in season 2 we see the same portal but from the other side, like 40 years in the past. And the fire extinguisher from the first season flies out of the portal and knocks out one of the siblings in the past.
5:50 I accidentally farted at the exact same time without any planning, for a second I didn’t realize the video did that sound too, I thought it was just me
I remember watching this movie, about time travel, called "Predestination", when I was a kid. Crazy story. Recommend watching it. Awesome video, as always. God bless.
Ngl im surprised you didnt talk about time slipping from loki, it stands out as one of the most interesting takes on it for me, seeing someone time travel with no equipment and just get kinda torn apart by it for a few moments is so cool, it manages to be interesting and just the right amount of horrifying
I know everyone loves to hate this show but one of favorite jokes from The Big Bang Theory was when the gang pretends Leonard’s time traveling with a time travel prop from…The…Time…Machine.
Love your editing style and presentation. So relaxing and engaging! I was shocked to see there weren't more viewers tuned in, I pray the algorithm gods pay you homage soon.
I love Time Travel as a mechanic, but I do feel the frequent use of Multiverse has kind of soiled its creativity in recent years. It seems to now be the default status as how it works, which kinda robs it of any real consequence.
Can't belive no mention of Star Trek or Stargate, both franchises had unique ways of portraying and using time-travel for the plot in episodes and movies
Probably best that the two episodes from “The Twilight Zone” that shows time travel in 1960 was not exactly time travel, but rather a walk down memory lane.
Maybe someone could relate From my Childhood, the anime *DORAEMON* has been introduced time travel in the year of 1979 (which was an adaptation from the same title manga Doraemon in 1969). It's a story about a Robot Cat from 22nd Century, traveling back in time to the past, helping his creator's great great grandpa to live a better live, with assorted of amazing futuristic gadgets, and many many amazing adventure through time, space, and even other dimension... Created by mangaka Fujiko F Fujio, Doraemon is Definitely one of the defining piece of my childhood 😁
@2:39, BTTF-lovers, there is a fan made game called 'No Time', i consider it a Gameplay Counterpart to the official Telltale version, ie The Player manually enters the (hopefull) correct time, find a suitable long road, turn on the reactor, and accelerate, Outside sharing a similair appearance, its does not have Marty's familiy as plotpones, take that as pros/cons
You left one of the most important time travel show in the past 5 years, DARK, on Netflix, which has full of paradoxes, time travel shenanigans multiple layers deep, and a overarching narrative...
I did include the backwards Doctor Strange fight in the montage but chose to go in depth for Endgame. It felt like a bigger plot point to me and rather than rewinding time, it was more about traveling through it. But the time stone scenes are definitely some of the coolest in the MCU so I hear you.
Its sad that stein;gate wasn't here. Like not even in the montage. Honestly the best example of time travel in a media ever, and is my person favourite show. It has a very interesting was to show time travel too. Electricity coming out everywhere and then numbers on the screen showing the change of world lines. I highly recommend watching Steins;Gate if you are a fan of time travel. It is able to encorparate 2 pre established types of time travel and it creates its own that being the D-Mail. (The other two are: time machines like harry potter and time reversal like groundhog day)
Can we have a part two separating on some of these: X-Men: DOFP Doctor Strange Interstellar Loki Dial of Destiny Deadpool 2 Mr P and Sherman ATSV (canon events)
In JJBA its a scene from stone ocean. That is not a time travel, the enemy (pucci) use his power to fast forward time it self beyond anything and somehow the earth reset
Apparently I'm color blind. Thanks for diagnosing me you guys.
I would love to see a "The CGI of Portals". I know you already have a video on teleporting, but this would be more specific and exclusively about different types and styles of portals in cinema
There were portals in that video
Time Travel is my #1 favorite concept in fiction, and I've really been enjoying your videos, so I can already tell I'm gonna love this!
yep
INK TANK CAMEO (clearly automatically summoned by Ben 10 being mentioned mhm)
Same bro

The Time Machine is my favorite Time Machine movie! Its the only movie where the main character is unable to change the past. Kind of sad.
That flash scene was actually pretty cool, conceptually, on paper.
Switch from Legion, it's an amazing concept
Ayyyo JOJO's and Ben 10 Representation 🎉
2:16 are you colorblind? because you just called a Blue police box purple
Content creator do these things on purpose to generate comments and more engagement
"The flash will live on as one of the movies of all time" got me cracking 😂
This video should have included Tenet. Though it used many practical effects I think it’s worth talking about them as a unique approach to time travel
I come to these for the chill voiceover, I stay for the chill af montages. Please never stop the montages with the banger song.
The "Dark" time travel really does look insane. There's the kind where it forms the massive black orb and then the kind showed at the end with Alternate Marta's orb time machine.

Sounds like fun. Love that continuity.

I remember watching this movie, about time travel, called "Predestination", when I was a kid. Crazy story. Recommend watching it. Awesome video, as always. God bless.
21:21 That bit at the end with primer was pretty funny.

He has a spot in my Teleportation video. Definitely would've fit here too though.
@@y.reviews ah!! That makes sense then, clearly my own fault for not being studied up enough on your content haha, I'll have to give it a watch!
agents of shield did time travel in the mcu before endgame
no one cares
I know everyone loves to hate this show but one of favorite jokes from The Big Bang Theory was when the gang pretends Leonard’s time traveling with a time travel prop from…The…Time…Machine.
I always loved Hero from Heroes and his depiction of time travel.
YYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I❤ THIS DUDE!
Love your editing style and presentation. So relaxing and engaging! I was shocked to see there weren't more viewers tuned in, I pray the algorithm gods pay you homage soon.
We take every view we can here folks. Thanks for watching. 👍
I FREAKING LOVED PROJECT ALMANAC
I’m glad he included Primer in the end.
Yeah.... We don't talk about the Flash...
Back to the future will forever be my favorite time travel movie
No mention of the goat Doreamon in a time travel video
Huge oversight. Definitely should have been in here.
It’s travel time
I know this is going to be a hard topic but what if you made a video about all kinds of super strength. You know in Media

21:53 There's time travel in Arrival? I need to watch the movie again then
Evil dead 2 and 3 had time travel plots.
He forgot the TVA
I'm surprised you mention the Endgame time travel but not the time Stone uses in Doctor Strange or Infinity War

21:48 IS THAT A JOJO REFERNCE!?!?
I know one day you will make a video with mars attacks in there
Thumbs up for “misfits” very nice.
TENET: never existed in this video's timeline.
All the movies...
You forgot star trek: the voyage home, X-Men FOFP and star trek: first contact
Can we have a part two separating on some of these:
X-Men: DOFP
Doctor Strange
Interstellar
Loki
Dial of Destiny
Deadpool 2
Mr P and Sherman
ATSV (canon events)
almost all of these were shown in the montage at the end
@@Mate_Antal_Zoltan But not explained
I can't believe they didn't include Predestination😢
I honestly liked The Flash for the most part. Say all you want about the zoetrope and random planet scenes.
No hot tube time machine and samurai jack ? No interstellar and Tenet ?
Made in heaven
21:14 I saw what you did there 🗿
No Primeval in the montage? sad :/
In JJBA its a scene from stone ocean. That is not a time travel, the enemy (pucci) use his power to fast forward time it self beyond anything and somehow the earth reset
