You should totally add an area in the Great Hall where you can press buttons to play labeled Decked Out sounds. Hermits, when waiting around for the dungeon to open/reset or when otherwise in the area could play with the buttons to try and memorize some of the sounds. Might help with clarification!
What a great idea!! I also think an item framed texture explaining how to read the cards and what the icons all mean would be clutch

And with the ability to change the range of discs, you can set it so the sounds don’t accidentally reach the dungeon
When I first half-read your comment I thought you meant that hermits outside the dungeon could mess with the person inside.
But thinking about that more, that seems a bit unfair and also scope creep. :P
He could always partner with Cub to make it an exhibit in the museum.

It's been so long that Tango forgot he already explained the range of music discs. It was bound to happen with having to keep track of sooo many things. This project is insane

@@sanga1380 If you're unfamiliar with the game, I strongly recommend watching Ethoslab's runs of the first version back in season 7.
Love the detail of the “DON’T LEAVE YOUR STUFF IDIOT” type message. Very good assessment of average hermit intelligence.
😂 resulted from Tango, himself, leaving his stuff after test runs. 😂 Chat suggested the message. 😂
Its also just very easy to forget your stuff in general, its less about intelligence and more about mindfulness after getting killed in a high stress environment.
Now he just needs a "REMOVE YOUR ARMOR OR I WILL THROW YOU IN LAVA" message 😁

I'm no where near a top level redstoner but I thought I've seen almost everything while I might not able to use it all. Then the fact you can "code" a single redstone line with 40 different inputs ( and probably even more ) is just mindblowing to me. This version of Decked Out is so crazy that I honestly would vote to copy and paste it into the next season of Hermitcraft! All I can say is "Well done, Tango!".
If they copy/paste it into the next season, it'd give Tango so much more time to add new levels.
I will never get over that heartbeat effect. I swear my heart sped up to match it towards the end of the first run this episode
I really want to see episodes of several hermits where a good chunk of it is them waiting in a que to run Decked Out and they're just chatting.

@@1010GamingX I never would've noticed if it wasn't pointed out, but you can tell it was done after the fact because the haste icon in the corner moves.
I'm pretty sure that playing Tango freaked out and flailed, and then editing Tango stabilized the video so the viewers wouldn't get motion sickness

The fact that tango knows the layout and still fumbled with it, makes me wonder how the others will go.

Watching the full runs and bug fixing in the live streams has been a blast. Anyone who hasnt checked out Tango's Twitch channel absolutely needs to!
The amount of work you’ve put into decked out is incredible and TOTALLY worth the time and dedication you’ve decided to put towards it
Some indie games feel like their dev-team has put less time into a real game than tango has put into a "mini-game" inside of survival minecraft...
He's truly crazy in the best possible way.
I think he should maybe have done something like Iskall did with Vault hunters, the time and effort he put into this version of decked out will hardly see enough gameplay before the next Hermitcraft season to make it worth it. Alternatively, I'd love to see it carry over to the next season using world edit or something like we've seen in past seasons with older builds
Not just building a 4-level dungeon, but creating a Gates of Ahn'qiraj unlocking event for the bottom level, Tango is truly a madlad
I still remember the day guilds, casuals and everyone in between on my realm gathered for that (Aszune) 😁
Literally tens of thousands of players all in Silithus waiting for the gates to open, the server almost dying due to player numbers and mobs when the event started haha, it's a shame there's been nothing like AQ20 and AQ40 in such a long time, the war effort grind was real! 👍

I cannot express how satisfying it is to look at the gigantic mess of redstone that is decked out. It's like looking at a redstone computer and getting that sense of dopamine, but it's ten times cooler because it's an entire dungeon crawler, all under a sick-looking fortress to match. I've been following this from day one, and, I have to say, this is one of the coolest things I've seen done in Minecraft. I can't wait to play this when the world download comes out.
I can't wait to see Hermits having fun and squealing as they book it through Decked Out!

Wouldn’t it be cool to one day get a Timelapse of the decked out Redstone in action, with each line lighting up as it’s used!!!!
Seriously though!! Wait until Etho has memorized the map and maxed out his deck, and then put multiple cam accounts in the guts of decked out during one of his level 4 runs!
Your easy access point near the door to level 3 is still open. On the left at 36:47 you can just barely see. And as everyone else is saying, this looks incredible. The time and energy put into this is just on a scale unfathomable, and getting to watch it all be built and theorized was a treat! I'm curious if this will be released publicly at some point.
How Tango hasn't been burnt out by this is incredible. Such a gargantuan project, gotta be one of the most impressive things ever achieved in minecraft.
this project is INSANE! you should make a sound hall where the hermits can learn what all the dungeon sounds mean through button presses or something
man, that pulse length/signal strength encoding would have been useful in so many redstone projects over the years. immediately makes me think of how big of a nightmare Sahara looked in season 6 because of all the redstone encoder/decoders needed to place the orders.

Actually it would have been hundreds of times easier to have 2 hex lines rather than struggle with signal duration
I can’t wait to watch the hermits do this!! Especially Etho, Papa K and Cub mastering the dungeon, and the new arrivals of Gem and Pearl experiencing it for the first time after being passive viewers of Decked Out 1 like the rest of us. Tango, you are a magnificent Redstone, builder, and game designer. You give a lot of credit to the hivemind on your twitch, which is well deserved; but just remember that they chose to follow and support you because they also saw your immense talent and groundbreaking vision.
Every time you go into the inner workings of Decked Out, I feel like I am looking at the insides of a pinball machine. I can't wait to see the other pinballs *cough* Hermits run through this amazing dungeon!
In case Decked Out wasn't already like candy to Etho, let's gamify level 4's availability with some CTM style. 😈😂

Just watched the episode. Tango,you are a mad genius. How did you manage all of this... It's almost beyond comprehension. My hat is well and truly off to you. Decked Out 2 looks amazing and you deserve a well earned rest.
The roller coaster of emotions between laughing so hard at death by berries to the almost complete run at the end has my heart beating of my chest in anticipation for all the hermits to play. This has been amazing to watch from the beginning!!! So excited!!!!

The "tread lightly" almost sounds like a threat but honestly I love that. The beginning definitely feels a little bit like you're about to go into a game of laser tag in an arcade

Absolutely incredible. The pinnacle of Minecraft achievement. Even just watching someone else play, you have completely nailed the ability to generate joy and terror and fun stories.
Congrats on finishing decked out!!🎉 The original decked out was mind blowing for me at the time but you've far surpassed it now. It's incredibly innovative and has pushed the limits of what I thought was possible in Minecraft and it's been awesome to watch the process. I can't wait to see everyone play it because this is the best minigame I've ever seen built in game. Thank you for all of your hard work and taking us along for the ride!

I just re-watched the first Decked Out. An extreme difference between the two, and I can already tell how much better this one will be.

Idea:
From The "Beast Sense" which rings a bell to see the ravagers i thought of a new idea.
"Beast Lure" which lures the Warden to a location but it can backfire and you probably already set upped most of the cards.
Yeah it could activate a sound from example a piston for 10 seconds so wardens get distracted for a little time but Tango could place those pistons of course by crucial exits of course
So excited to see a main channel post! The treasure in the basement seems to have keys frequently, i think it would be nice to see it spread out over the room instead of in a pile. Its awesome that we're so close!
The sounds add SO much to the game, I feel like the ambience alone makes the place 10x more scary and tense. Amazing work!

Decked out 1 was fantastic to watch. But THIS??? ABSOLUTELY ENTERTAINING INSANITY that should be in a hall of fame
The Clank Blocked sound has such a Metroid vibe to it, it's awesome! The fact that it sounds similar to another game all about being isolated and navigating through a gauntlet as you slowly get stronger over time is genius- intended or otherwise!

I have such a hard time sleeping so I can do normal non-hermit things, and all you're videos (no disrespect meant) really are so soothing and lulling to sleep-ish...I'm just so thankful for every single one of you. You guys really make sleeping so much easier for me and I really am so thankful. Almost nightly I have one of Hermitcrafts' members' video's up and playing as I fall asleep...........I know it's weird, I won't deny it one bit...........but I really struggle so much with getting to sleep and your guy's videos help me to be rested so I can do my daily job of helping my own local area on a dalily basis. I really hope you can share this with the rest of the Hermits as I help a small, but neeedy county connect with local resources to stablize their own lives. I really love hearing all that you are doing reguardless of how tired I am or if I am simply enjoying a weekend coffee update from you all. You all are such a positive influence and so kind and helpfuf that it really recharges me and helps me to rest and relax in a meaningful manner. I just wanted you all to know that all your guy's efforts really helps at least 1 person who helps at least 5-20 people daily. Keep at it and please know you all help to make a significant difference.Thank you to all Hermits for being friendly and imaginative and encouraging and helpful. I love all that Hermitcraft stands for and always look forward to more from you all even if I cannot keep up with each individual Hermit (there's a lot of you all lol)....but I do love you all and try my best to keep up with everyone's series.
