I have a Q50 in this exact color that was side swiped. Can you tell me the colors and paint used because this job was phenomenal?
The color code is NBA, sunstone red. I used ppg waterborne paint and a mixing system
When you make the spray out card it was 2 base 2 mid coats? But you somehow changed to 3 base and 3mid. I have a question. If the initial spray out card gives you the right colour with 2 b 2mid, what kind of factors of giving the color off while you spraying on the car? Thank you
Sometimes spraying the card and spraying actual car the color varies because instead of a small area your are spraying over a large pane and they color doesn’t get sprayed heavy enough, i keep my card in the booth when painting and continue to check to make sure it matches closely to what I just sprayed

Question for I lnc painter so I have same colour car trying to match colour headache so props on u for that but every ppg supplier I ask only has the tinted clear version how did mange with the mid coat version is there some Thing I need to tell them?
Not sure which ppg line you use, i sprayed ppg envirobase (ehp) NBA has four specials for this color, 2 are tinted clear and the other 2 are tinted midcoat (//Lx3) and (//LYx4) are tinted midcoat. Good luck 👍🏻

How much would a job like this cost i have a factory pearl color on my car and im thinking about repainting some parts mainly just the rear bumper spoiler and front and rear lip?
There’s a few factors that would go into the cost… condition of the bumper, does it need repair, is it peeling/faded. Do we have to blend or color match etc. I have my email in description if you are local hit me up and I will get back to you with Price $$ 👊🏻😁

Did you key that up again before clearing? That will flake if not.
Ppg base coat has 24 hour window to spray clear without having to scuff up and re-base.
