Join Fy Nyth on social media - mewe.com/i/fynyth ! If you are new to my channel and Fy Nyth (Welsh for "My Nest") in general, welcome! I'm Ariel. Along with my husband Clay, our dogs, cats, bees, and some poultry, we live in a tiny house on wheels in the mountains of western Wyoming and are working on setting into our own new little homestead. I've been living this lifestyle since 2014 and my wonderful partner has joined me more recently. What will you find if you follow the channel and watch the videos?
Real life here. I try to show the good and the bad. The ups and the downs. What works, and what doesn't. The parts I love (most of it!), and the things that suck. Not just the showroom version of a tiny house, but everyday life in a tiny house. Not just the romantic idea of "homesteading" or off grid life, but the everyday details of this lifestyle. We split wood for heat, fill the water tank from a gravity fed spring, and attempt to grow as much of our own food as possible between the weather and wildlife here. I hope to help others learn from mistakes and make life just a little easier for anyone else interested in pursuing a similar lifestyle.
We live in a somewhat harsh and cold climate, but enjoy the stunning scenery and wildlife that we are surrounded by on a daily basis. You'll also see videos of the nature and wildlife around my home. If you are interested in my photography or purchasing a photo, I'd love if you follow that over at mewe.com/join/... or ArielCelestePhotography.zenfolio.com!

I love bees! People freak out when I let them land on my hand. Very interesting to hear about their behavior in the winter. I had to laugh when the one bee was walking on the snow. There was a big “nope!” running through its head. Thanks for sharing this with us Ariel!!❤️❤️🐝

I have read suggestions that drones, after the queen has been mated may be assigned to door security. I have seen film somewhere of several drones tackling a marauding wasp or it might even a hornet, they beat him up good and the would be thief staggered away the worse for wear and the lads looked very pleased with them selves.

First, love your videos. We lived in the Cody area for 3 years and LOVED every moment. We will return full-time soon to farm. People who have never lived in Wyoming can't possibly understand the wind. I tell friends that winds have personalities.

Love the new place and it gives you so much space to do new things. A while back you told us about the ranch you used to live on and that it was for sale so I got curious about the meadow where you used to live but as hard as I tried I couldn’t find the spot lol

Have you planned your house and what type of home will you be building? Will it be a natural energy type home? I've always wanted to build a straw bale home for the 18" thick walls for insulation.

Maybe some of the dead bees found some distance from the hive were dead when they were pushed out of the hive and their bodies were just blown that far by the wind. No?

They do need water but usually get it from condensation in the hive or from melting on the outside facing the sun.

What do you know about these new so-called vaccines, that the FDA has approved and is pushing for honey bees. I'm concerned. Also, do you feed anything to the bees in winter?
