Ooh my! Just tried this with leftover cauliflower broccoli rice and it tasted like normal sushi. No avocado, no cucumber because I feared the broccoli would bring on a veggy taste. But none of that! I also used a drop of white vinegar instead of rice vinegar. It still works! Thank you so much Low Carb Love ❤️ Sushi was always something I missed when I was on keto! I would end up cheating once in a while but this changes everything! Oh and I added some red onions to my tuna mixture
I have some tips to make your sushi rolling techniques better, first wrap your bamboo mat in plastic wrap to prevent sticking and it makes it easy to clean, also always roll with 2 hands, I noticed that you said to “squeeze” the roll but don’t do that, it’s always best to use 2 hands and very gently compress the roll but don’t squeeze it, and to get a better circular shape make sure to compress softly with both hands and run both hands left to right simultaneously to make the roll symmetrical :)
Mayra, I was jus complaining to my local Sushi chef, asking why they don't incorporate Cauliflower Rice?! But they don't. Holy moly this is amazing! I used smoked salmon and cream cheese instead but everything was on point!!! Will definitely do again when I’m craving sushi. Wish it made more though 😟

So I kind of made a deconstructed sushi roll I just put everything in a bowl with shredded up seaweed I didn't have the avocado or sesame seeds and oil on hand but omg!!!! This was so good and I will for sure be making this again thank you thank you for this recipe!!!!

So the first time I tried to make keto sushi I used riced cauliflower ( not your recipe ) and after I made the sushi roll and tried it I was like totally disappointed , visually it looks great taste wise , no , it doesn’t taste like rice , and that for a sushi fanatic the rice is everything it’s the foundation of good sushi , so I’m still on the search for a rice substitute that makes the sushi taste like sushi,🤔. I was hoping the queen of keto could help me on my quest .

I just want to say that I have made this so many times and it is delicious! I can finally have sushi again and it’s so nice 😊

Add 2 to 3 oz of cream cheese to your rice and let chill. It makes the rice a little more sticky. 🤤

All I do differently is to add a couple of tablespoons of softened cream cheese to make a more sticky rice. These are so simalar to susi.

Try this with Palmini rice and add Greek yogurt and Mayo to the rice... stays together and I like it better than cauliflower

Is this keto if it has 15 net carbs? Sounds like youd have to omad since its take up most if not all of your carbs allowed for the day
