Little tips for people who want, don't start the chain of single crochet too tight because when you will start youre double crochet you'll see that it is not straight

thank you so much for the vid ! also love that color on your nails and have to know what it’s called if you know
omg thank you! Its Juniper from Barry M
AWESOME TUT!! i'm a beginner so I didn't really get how to do the ribbing effect bit, but I scrolled thru the comments and now I think I get it. I chain one then flip my work over and double crochet into the first v into the back loop, is that right? tysm
Yes exactly!!
hii!! tysm for this 😊 im making them as a gift!! can I use bulky yarn?
hi!! no worries
@@arieltong tysm!! i hope u have a great holiday! 💖
Omg this is such a great tutorial!! Thank u so much for this!! But just a question, can I use like two colors for this? Again great tutorial! You did amazing 🫶🫶🫶
thank you so much!! and yes of course you can use as many colours as you want! super customizable :)
@@arieltong Thank you so much!!! :)
one question only the first row has to have three spaces without grabbing at the start?
Will one 100g yarn be enough to crochet for both hands?..l also I’ll be using the S method for making chunky yarn so should that much be enough?
Any tips on how to make this for someone else bc I can’t measure their hand or see where their thumb is for the thumb hole
Chain one for a double? Usually chain 3.
Watching this while my hands are extremely cold for no reason
do you measure your friends’ hands when you gift the arm warmers or do the measurements that you use for yourself usually work well for your friends?
i normally base it off my own arms and add a few rows if needed!
notes for my size:
20cm
38 chains
15 rows
I'm gonna have to try this! thanks for the tutorial! but i have a question do you know how to put little designs on them like a star or something??? like once your done with it can you add a star or something to it???
of course !! you can customise them however you like
@@arieltong oki!
How many ply is the yarn? Since i am buying online i cant see irl to check if its gonna snuggle my hand or not, please tell me!!!
Tysm i was super uncomfortable to wear short sleeved shirtsbcs i have scars now i can be comfortable
its 01:19 and i have to go somewhere at 13:30. i'll try to make it. i'll update, wish me luck :(
edit: sad ending
been 15 minutes and made 2 rows so far. need to get faster and will my yarn be enough..?
feel like it wont be enough so ill add green rows
5 rows so far its been half an hour :( :(
8 rows done 5 left
so i'm done with the first one but i made 12 rows which was green and black but the rows was chaotic so it was too thight and ugly. wasted my time and yarn :(
Heyyy,loved ur tutorial,but I got a question here,is it ok to not do the rib effect?cus I struggled there,and yeah I need some help😅THANK YOU AGAIN❤❤
yes of course!!
thank you so much for the tutorial! quick question, how many grams of yarn have you used for this project?
100g will be enough for both sides!
Heya! Thank you so much for this tutorial, it's so helpful! I was wondering if anyone could tell me how many skeins of yarn 2 hand warmers would roughly take? Thank you so much 🥰
im almost done with my first arm warmer and my yarn is still fully here ! It barkey tokk alot my was meduim size so 1!
if u want u can get two if ur making more then twi
It was an easy and fun gift to make for my sister. Thanks!!! But mine has a lot of holes any suggestions would be really helpful! :)
try to make the stitches tighter by using a smaller hook or pulling the yarn tight when making the stitches! :)
I'm going to try making it striped i'm just worried the black starting chain is gonna look ugly that way 😭 live and learn
im sure it’ll turn out alright!! good luck crocheting
I know I’m late, but maybe try doing the first two rows black and the next two rows the other colour :) also if you already know your measurements and how many rows you’ll need then you could plan out the pattern ahead.
Heyy :)
I have a question. How many loops did you skipped when you did the 2nd row? Did you just skipped the 1 chain up and stitched in the first back loop?
I’m new at crocheting 😅
And my English is not so good so sorry haha
Hey! After finishing the first two, I skipped the first 3 chains (2 will act as the the double crochet and 1 will be the turning stitch). In the second row i chained one before turning my work and double crochet in the first stitch! Hope this helps xx
Thanks for answering this fast :) I understood it now!
Your tutorial is so easy to follow! Thank you!
For some reason though mine is turning out more like a parallelogram than a rectangle.
I'm reasonably sure I've not skipped any stitches as I've gone down the row.
I started with 57 chain stitches and my last row I counted at 39.
I can't figure out what I did.
Any suggestions?
Hello how do you do the slip stitch do you chain one more and then start or tie it off?
no chain! just go right in
I did so much wrong that I freestyled it somehow in the end....but now I can't make the other one hahshshd
These are so cute!!! But can i make them shorter? Would it still work?
If i do less do i also skip the first three stitches?
Of course you can make them as long/short as you want! The first 3 stitches act as a turning/first stitch so don’t skip them :-)
Thanks going to gives this pattern a try. Can you use any wool. For this pattern.
yes it works for all!
hello im a beginner crocheter so i dont know much about it. Im currently working on this and noticed that even in the first row it started to curve and as I went on it looked like the rows kept getting bigger but I counted the stitches there doesn't seem to be anything that changed it would be great if someone could tell me what to do lol
I keep trying to keep my tension good but idk
hi what size is the yarn used? i’ve been chrocheting for 3 days now and i haven’t even finish 1 arm
