12sc(white); 3sc(grey); 13sc(white); 4sc(grey); white sc till the end

How long did it take?
@@Bubbliiqs I managed it in about three days - I worked on it for about just less than 2 hours each day so around 6 hours in total- I’m not the fastest at crocheting though so others might do it faster - hope this helps!

for anyone wondering how long it took to make. for the creator, it took less than a day. I took 3 days, and i am a beginner :).

Either I’m super dumb or this is confusing cause the second row of making the star she said to sc 16 w base color then on 16 switch color and sc 3 w star color and when it goes to the 3rd row I see hers touchs the 1st row of the star and mine doesn’t??

Do we have to continue crocheting the accent yarn in the back for the last 6 rows? or can we just drop it and solely use the white yarn?
traditionally, you don’t drop it but i think it will look fine if you do. however, it may look quite noticeable if the two colors you’re using are very contrasting.

Weight 4 yarn is the same as 4 ply yarn. It’s also called aran weight or worsted weight sometimes. It’s just a way to describe the thickness of the yarn. Both of the yarns used were acrylic. Hope this helps! 😊

omg on the second row of making the star, I can't seem to get it on top of the correct stitch. it always goes a bit past. The first star corner is 8 stitches away, but you said to do 11! Ot doesnt look right to me when I do it, but it looks right when you do 😭😭
if you count that you have a total of 43 stitches in each row, it should be correct according to the pattern. i would recommend referring to the chart (linked in the description) and using the grid to keep track. each square represents one stitch, so this should be helpful as you go on

i loved it! but i have a question. In the chart it says i have to make 43 chains first, but you said 44. i made 44 but there was 1 chain left. And with 43 it makes more sense. TYSM
44 chains should be right, because you start single crocheting in the second chain from your hook, which should leave you with 43 stitches left. thanks for the support!

it does not, as it is the foundation chain. the seven rows should only count the ones you single crochet. hope this helps!

hi! this bag should be on the smaller side in terms of dimensions, so it may be that it turns out smaller than you expect. if you would like bigger dimensions, i would recommend switching to a different size hook.

if you are aiming to do this star design then I recommend that you should do 40 chains
when u finish ur seven rows how much cm long are they??? (in the direction of the single crochets - length wise)

I don't get it. So for the first sc we skip 1 chain right? and do we do that for the rest of the row or should we just sc on each chain? (I did tried to skip 1 chain for the whole row but it just scrunched)

What are the orange squares for on the grid?
they should be considered the same as the pink ones, but i fixed the chart just now to make it a single color

I doubled my dimensions so instead of 44sc I did 88 sc and on the 8th row she did 11 sc so I did 22 sc and on the 22nd sc I switch colors and go until 31 (bc she did 9 more) but when I do that, the proportioning isn't the same :/. (like the beginning of the star and the end of the star isn't in the middle of the bag, there's too much space left in the beginning of the bag and the star ends at the end of the bag)

You just do what you did until the end, and go to the end of the video to see how she finishes off

i’m not sure what i’m doing wrong. every time i finish the second row my work is significantly smaller than what my chain was (i’m using a 5mm hook and the work turns out to be 5 1/2 inches) what am i doing wrong?
When you finish every row you should stich one extra. For example in this video we have 44 stich but whenever you finish a row, you should stich one more so 45
