Hell I wouldn’t even be able to get half the kills I get if it weren’t for auto aim. I swear I was dropping people left and right effortlessly with the varmint rifle and I’m not saying that to be cool it’s just auto aim.
Auto Aim is a joke. RDR2's shooting mechanics are amazing and super easy to use. Can't wait for Hardcore lobbies. Rockstar is one of the only companies that make games with Auto Aim. They're just interactive movies.
Who Cares? Man I wanted to platinum this game so bad, but the campaign is too grindy to play honorably and the online just seems boring af, honestly this game is too much of grind to platinum, I might or might not do it

Nah. Realism is okay for multiplayer. Microtransactions more ridiculous than gta 5 are not. I would've also liked for weapon skills to be in separate categories much like in gta san andreas.
Played a few games online the other day couldn’t understand how people were killing me so dam quickly, then it hit me oh yea I’m still using free aim, so I turned auto aim on killed like 5 people in like 20 seconds, where as before I was lucky if I got 2 kills the entire game, oh and who the hell thought it would be a good idea to have both people that like to use free aim and people that like to use auto aim in the same game???????
Well to be Fair using controler in mainly 3rd person game is doomed from start. And since it is on console there is no way to use officially keyboard and mouse.
imperium RANDOM one of the things that Annoys me about how the aiming is in red dead redemption 2 is that just a few Years ago you might remember a game called Max Payne 3, now Max Payne 3 was published and developed by rockstar and had some of the best setting’s customisation I’ve ever seen when it comes your characters cursor’s sensitivity, I mean if you spent enough time in the settings menu you could set the up the controls however you wanted to, It doesn’t make sense given the fact they’ve done it before in another game they made just a few years ago, I don’t know why they just don’t do that again but for red dead.

As much as it pains me to say this, because I adore this game and because I expected to dislike your video, but most of what you’re saying is bang on. Let’s hope they can refine it. Called a beta for a reason, it’s there for you to voice concerns so they can approve upon it. Gta online was absolutely dog shit when it first came out but they constantly made changes and fixed broken shit to make the game better.

Aim assist isn't the problem, almost every shooter game has aim assist. It's this auto lock-on aim thing that's just stupid and doesn't belong in an online multiplayer mode. Don't know why people are confusing the two.

Well to be honest this is why they are testing it in beta, so that way they can fix & address any bugs & issues, it will take a while , but I think multiplayer will grow over time, just give it some time.

The super auto aim in Rockstar games have always been like that. Even in campaign is too much, but people dont complain much about it because they are distracted by the little things in their vast games. Once you are online you notice the clunky gunplay mechanic. Plus rockstar online community is cancer.

I tried online and it was just as I expected, getting gunned down by some annoying kids with their moms screaming in the background every 2 minutes, I would be riding at full speed to a mission point and out of nowhere I'm shot in the head by some asshole on top of a hill just because he had autoaim, and of course he babbles some garbage in a language I can't understand, the deathmatch is equally horrible since you would spawn and either get immediately shot or you would get a few undeserved kills because of the autoaim and then get shot, I know its a beta but rockstar really has to fix this bullshit, the autoaim is lazy and makes it easy for anyone, also the option to have a private server to play with your actual friends would be nice

The clunky controls can be fixed mostly in the controls and camera settings. The only thing that frustrates me is running while looking left and right in first person to get those deathmatch kills, the big elephant in the room for me is the insane paywall on weaponry; and how you can’t own tamed horses

Yea it doesn't help when you're a passive player like myself. I usually never shoot first and mostly doing my own thing. Online is always filled with hostile players.

I actually feel the singleplayer is terrible as well. Went back and played RDR1... and that game is still fun... and teh MP is more fun! IMHO people are too starstruck by R* and how beautiful RDR2 is... they've convinced themselves it's a great game when it's not.

Yeah. I had free aim all the time in gta but then I realized it was boring. I switched free aim in story mode for RDR and it is really fun, challenging, and immersive.
You can already do that...I've hunted for hours online and made bank...my haul last night I had 3 perfect carcasses (deer/owl/rabbit), about 10 deer/buck/fox pelts, 8 or so rabbit/raccoon pelts, a few squirrels and chipmunks, along with all of their meat and feathers. It was about $75 in total and took me about 30 minutes to collect it all. That's not including the herbs either, which is about $30 total (berries/yarrow/mushrooms, etc).

As a FPS/TPS gamer who has competed in hundreds of High Profile tournaments in games ranging from Halo 1 - Apex Legends; I completely agree. The auto aim is overkill 1000%. All it does is boost average at best player's egos. I truly cannot stand what Rockstar has done to RDO. I have said it before and Ill say it again, I do not have fun playing the various combative game modes. I have fun riding around with my friends and enjoying the map for what it is while hunting or fishing. They need to focus on that aspect. Introduce wagons, homesteads, cabins, businesses etc. The broken economy is comparable to what living in Venezuela 2019 is, not the 20th century American outdoors. How are you going to charge me $450 for a repeating shotgun when a lever action shotgun true to the era was less than $5 in real life during the time? Better yet; how are you going to charge me 15 gold bars for a horse, when that same horse in the story mode was $1,000 and 15 gold bars was $7,500? Rockstar can't figure out a way to make the economy make sense, much less the gameplay.

Here’s how they need to fix RDO: Increase the payout of stranger missions do you get between $20-$40, add store robberies, train robberies, fix the character creation, add bounties, add passive mode, and add proximity chat.

I've played shooters on PC like Doom, Counter Strike and Titanfall. Trust me consoles need that auto aim, the fast precision isn't there. Check the doom eternal gameplay and the difference between pc gameplay and console gameplay.

Don’t get me wrong Online is so much fun it’s the most fun I’ve ever had in a multiplayer but honestly I completely agree with you they can tone down a lot of things I really hope they can address these in the full release and another thing which is the Pay to Win and gold bars it’s a EA trail they need a bigger pay for modes or easier to earn money cause it’s a huge grind I swear.
The controls and responsiveness is way too slow. I can't count the number of times I've seen someone on the map in showdown lobbies only to be stuck on a rock or in an animation that began because the moment controls are so imprecise really annoys me. I can't ever shoot anyone behind me because the turning speed is so slow.

It just isn't the competitive modes but the entire experience. The majority of why it feels so restrictive is due to rockstar trying to copy gtao and its countermeasures.
@Xx BigBoss xX Try aim acceleration full, deadzone off, free aim with aim assist not off but on lowest setting. Not perfect, but miles better than the default. Wish they'd just make these settings the default, honestly online would be x10 better

I agree totally. GTA IV had one of the most underrated multiplayer experiences ever. It was way ahead of its time. No micro transactions, no wacky content like gta online currently has. It was simple but at the same time very fun.
I think it would make it more cinematic imo if there was no auto aim. You would incentivize players to keep bullet count as well as using the gunsmiths in the world more often since players would use more ammo missing shots, making things feel warranted, as well as exciting when you do get that headshot. Imagine being alone and chased by a posse of players behind you, seeing bullets whizz past you, almost killing you. Maybe one of them runs out of bullets so they end up using their lasso, riding closer and closer to you trying to capture you. Or maybe a lucky shot ends up hitting your horse in the head. Spending minutes trying to outrun them, moving through different lands across the game world, instead of them instantly locking on and killing you, with the chase lasting seconds. I'd rather be able to try and survive through "realistic" and challenging mechanics than to continuously keep dying and spawning over and over again because it's easy to get killed, with no real risk or downside for griefers. Eventually they'd give up or have no ammo, but instead they'd be able to instantly lock on and do it again and again with no consequences of losing ammo. I'd rather have a 10 minute exciting chase, than 10 minutes of dying over and over.
Free aim isn't very hard and it would be easier if they had a cod style assisted aim in which your reticle slows down when you slide over an enemy, which is what's in the game now. Those lobbies only and it would fix everything

GhostFace1301 animations and graphics are cut down by the red dead online team. The single player is handled by one team and the online is handled by another. They sped up a lot of the animations to improve gameplay and frame rate. The number of npcs has also significantly decreased. Similar thing happened to gta online. However since red dead 2 was originally made for next gen the game still looks good and still includes wildlife/animals in the map
It really sucks. I mean, with how nostalgic and how joyful it was to play multiplayer in the first one, I'm not feeling too good about online, either. Sucks, man. Maybe it'll improve afterall it is in beta.

Yeah...Rockstar Game's control schemes for their characters aren't crisp. Usually the rest of the single player experience makes up for that, but the multiplayer can become a frustrating mess in a Rockstar Rockstar Games title due to their "lax" control schemes.

Auto aim is the worse i understad is a beta but if cant play in lobby with people that only have free aim i cant play cuz i get mad to get head shot of some boddy that dont know how too shoot there is no skill in that so i just save my self sometime with that
@@solidsnake497 the vs modes havent been the main focus even back during the first rdr. Now after gta5 even less so, its all about the free roam and until forced free aim exists. Those adversary modes are just to waste time.
GTA online aim is the exact same? What's the big deal. Usually support your decisions but it's gonna take practice for you to get comfortable. And main strats are cover and dive just like GTA online & red dead 1 online.

CheifChan I loved gta online and rdr aim, this one is so fucking slow!!!!!!!!!feels like I’m playing story mode with those slow physics when it comes to combat it’s not fast paced enough!!!!!!!. An then you get killed and it takes a while to see who killed you... so fucking Annoying I’m really disappointed, and I don’t feel like playing it anymore. Again it’s because It doesn’t feel like I’m playing an online game. You can’t see who joins lobby, who leaves, can’t see the players in the lobby screen quickly, Map takes too long to see even if you hold pause, and a bunch of other free roam aspects stuff missing. The fun pvp modes are missing wtf is wrong with these showdowns, they should bring back the modes from the first rdr online, and keep the new ones for the people who like them. I understand it’s beta and the online aspects like who joins, leaves and who is in the lobby will be implemented later on, but damn I’m scared about the aim, I think that the fucking slow aiming will stay smh

I love Red Dead 2 but man the online sucks. I cant even explain all of my complaints in a single comment. It's not fun to play in really any aspect. It's a massive shame because Red Dead 2's single player is some of the best I've played in years and the multiplayer is some of the worst I've played in years.

Damon I loved Red Dead 1's multiplayer, it was a ton of fun. I have so many fond memories of playing rdr1 online with friends. The microtransactions and need for money (which is ridiculously harder to earn online than in single player, while everything got hiked up in price) kills a ton of the fun in rdr2 online imo, among a thousand other things. I did a mission with a friend and earned 6$. Then we hunted for a few minutes and earned like 5$. I bought ten oatcakes for my horse which were ten dollars then my camp upkeep took my last dollar from me. No thanks. I'm sure there's easier ways to make cash but good Lord is it stingy. 2k & Rockstar gotta make that gold bar cash doe so keep everything hard to get unless you pay real money
Few things: 1: Showdown. Having different levels for each weapon you use to kill is going against everything about gaming. A kill is a kill, you let the player decide how he kills the opponent. And vice versa. A piston, or a knife should be the same. You should not get more points for what weapon you use. 2: I could be missing this option , but a passive mode for online like GTA5. 3: The Most obvious, the monetary system in the game is chaos. I match of showdown large for an average play through yeilds about 3$. And considering just to get "rifling upgrade" cost over 80, there needs to be something done about it. I think a match of showdown should be yeilding about 9-13$ a match. Based on performance. A bonus for the MVP maybe an extra 5$ or something. And in exchange for the larger rewards, a slight loss for thoughs who dont play to their full potential, basically something to be won, and something to be lost, in order to justify the larger rewards per match. The gold system, errrr, the game can work with or without it, but id vote for cash systen over gold in a game. Keeps things more simple. Also for the microtran$action shinnanigans, i think 10$ should get you 450 in game money. As knowing rockstar they will make it something like 12.99 for only 250.. working in a real world, and soending my hard earned money on a game iv already supported by buying, i should not be getting a hard time whennit comes to buying in game fake non essential to the real world, money....

I'm enjoying it.. I feel like £60 I spent on single has been way beyond justified, as the campaign overtook my favourite games prior (rdr 1 and the Witcher 3). I feel like the online is just a nice bonus. But I think we should critique it and be vocal, but not out right slam as they have a full page on their sight dedicated to feedback. I feel like they are ready to change things this time around, compared to GTA. The beta thing is a superb idea as implementing changes is a fraction of the cost it was for GTA. Give them a chance is all I'm saying.
Red dead redemption 1 had the best shooting physics and bullet damage I have ever seen in a game. The animations when the guys hit the ground were so good.
I completely agree with the auto aim statements. I set all my controls to auto aim before booting up online in hopes being put in auto aim servers like red dead 1 and GTA V only to find that the only way to play is lock on... I would enjoy this game twice over if they added those servers.

Cores seem to drain super quick in multiplayer, constant random "Rockstar server side disconnect"s, laggy response times, trying to make money is a grind, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that felt a bit disappointed with RD Online. Also, I haven't been able to find/buy/equip any bandoliers online, either. Bummerrrrrrrrrr

I respect that you’re standing up for your opinion, even if it is probably going to be an unpopular one based on how well liked RDR2 is among the gaming community. However, I also disagree with your opinion. Yeah, the deathmatches are pretty rage-inducing when you’re playing them for the first time and haven’t done any pvp in the game yet, but once you’ve played for a couple days, you get used to the controls. Also, you’re saying I your title that you don’t like Red Dead Online. If you’re just trying to say you don’t like the combat system, that’s fine, but don’t let that ruin your view on online mode entirely. Honestly, if you posse up with a couple of friends, the game can be very fun. You don’t just have to fight people. You can also do missions, go hunting, and have lasso fights. It really is the most fun I’ve had in a game in a while, and I hope that after a couple days of playing it more you see things that way too, but if you don’t, like I said, it’s perfectly fine. Everyone’s got their own opinion, and that includes each of us.

Surprised you didn't talk about the card system. Found some guy the other day with a card called "never without one" Makes it so that headshots only take your hat off and don't kill or damage you. Not sure if you knew but if you're on your horse you can instantly re-equip your hat without any animation or cooldown and he figured out how to really abuse that.

Auto Aim is a joke. RDR2's shooting mechanics are amazing and super easy to use. Can't wait for Hardcore lobbies.

Played a few games online the other day couldn’t understand how people were killing me so dam quickly, then it hit me oh yea I’m still using free aim, so I turned auto aim on killed like 5 people in like 20 seconds, where as before I was lucky if I got 2 kills the entire game, oh and who the hell thought it would be a good idea to have both people that like to use free aim and people that like to use auto aim in the same game???????

imperium RANDOM one of the things that Annoys me about how the aiming is in red dead redemption 2 is that just a few Years ago you might remember a game called Max Payne 3, now Max Payne 3 was published and developed by rockstar and had some of the best setting’s customisation I’ve ever seen when it comes your characters cursor’s sensitivity, I mean if you spent enough time in the settings menu you could set the up the controls however you wanted to, It doesn’t make sense given the fact they’ve done it before in another game they made just a few years ago, I don’t know why they just don’t do that again but for red dead.

Aim assist isn't the problem, almost every shooter game has aim assist. It's this auto lock-on aim thing that's just stupid and doesn't belong in an online multiplayer mode. Don't know why people are confusing the two.

The super auto aim in Rockstar games have always been like that. Even in campaign is too much, but people dont complain much about it because they are distracted by the little things in their vast games. Once you are online you notice the clunky gunplay mechanic. I tried online and it was just as I expected, getting gunned down by some annoying kids with their moms screaming in the background every 2 minutes, I would be riding at full speed to a mission point and out of nowhere I'm shot in the head by some asshole on top of a hill just because he had autoaim, and of course he babbles some garbage in a language I can't understand, the deathmatch is equally horrible since you would spawn and either get immediately shot or you would get a few undeserved kills because of the autoaim and then get shot, I know its a beta but rockstar really has to fix this bullshit, the autoaim is lazy and makes it easy for anyone, also the option to have a private server to play with your actual friends would be nice

The clunky controls can be fixed mostly in the controls and camera settings. The only thing that frustrates me is running while looking left and right in first person to get those deathmatch kills, the big elephant in the room for me is the insane paywall on weaponry; and how you can’t own tamed horses

I actually feel the singleplayer is terrible as well. Went back and played RDR1... and that game is still fun... and teh MP is more fun! IMHO people are too starstruck by R* and how beautiful RDR2 is... they've convinced themselves it's a great game when it's not.

Yeah. I had free aim all the time in gta but then I realized it was boring. I switched free aim in story mode for RDR and it is really fun, challenging, and immersive.
Hopefully Rockstar focuses on bringing some really great PvE content to offset the horrors of playing PvP.

You can already do that...I've hunted for hours online and made bank...my haul last night I had 3 perfect carcasses (deer/owl/rabbit), about 10 deer/buck/fox pelts, 8 or so rabbit/raccoon pelts, a few squirrels and chipmunks, along with all of their meat and feathers. It was about $75 in total and took me about 30 minutes to collect it all. That's not including the herbs either, which is about $30 total (berries/yarrow/mushrooms, etc).

As a FPS/TPS gamer who has competed in hundreds of High Profile tournaments in games ranging from Halo 1 - Apex Legends; I completely agree. The auto aim is overkill 1000%.
All it does is boost average at best player's egos. I truly cannot stand what Rockstar has done to RDO.
I have said it before and Ill say it again, I do not have fun playing the various combative game modes. I have fun riding around with my friends and enjoying the map for what it is while hunting or fishing. They need to focus on that aspect. Introduce wagons, homesteads, cabins, businesses etc.
The broken economy is comparable to what living in Venezuela 2019 is, not the 20th century American outdoors. How are you going to charge me $450 for a repeating shotgun when a lever action shotgun true to the era was less than $5 in real life during the time? Better yet; how are you going to charge me 15 gold bars for a horse, when that same horse in the story mode was $1,000 and 15 gold bars was $7,500? Rockstar can't figure out a way to make the economy make sense, much less the gameplay.

Here’s how they need to fix RDO: Increase the payout of stranger missions do you get between $20-$40, add store robberies, train robberies, fix the character creation, add bounties, add passive mode, and add proximity chat.

The controls and responsiveness is way too slow. I can't count the number of times I've seen someone on the map in showdown lobbies only to be stuck on a rock or in an animation that began because the moment controls are so imprecise really annoys me. I can't ever shoot anyone behind me because the turning speed is so slow.

I agree totally. GTA IV had one of the most underrated multiplayer experiences ever. It was way ahead of its time. No micro transactions, no wacky content like gta online currently has. It was simple but at the same time very fun.
The only thing I like about online is making my own character and playing with my friends... everything else I take with a grain of salt

I think it would make it more cinematic imo if there was no auto aim. You would incentivize players to keep bullet count as well as using the gunsmiths in the world more often since players would use more ammo missing shots, making things feel warranted, as well as exciting when you do get that headshot. Imagine being alone and chased by a posse of players behind you, seeing bullets whizz past you, almost killing you. Maybe one of them runs out of bullets so they end up using their lasso, riding closer and closer to you trying to capture you. Or maybe a lucky shot ends up hitting your horse in the head. Spending minutes trying to outrun them, moving through different lands across the game world, instead of them instantly locking on and killing you, with the chase lasting seconds.
I'd rather be able to try and survive through "realistic" and challenging mechanics than to continuously keep dying and spawning over and over again because it's easy to get killed, with no real risk or downside for griefers. Eventually they'd give up or have no ammo, but instead they'd be able to instantly lock on and do it again and again with no consequences of losing ammo. I'd rather have a 10 minute exciting chase, than 10 minutes of dying over and over.
I haven't had many issues with obnoxious people with mics yet. Maybe I'm just lucky but it's been better than GTA was at least.
Free aim isn't very hard and it would be easier if they had a cod style assisted aim in which your reticle slows down when you slide over an enemy, which is what's in the game now. Those lobbies only and it would fix everything

GhostFace1301 That's pretty much how it was with RDR1 online and GTA online. I think to help maintain the framerate.
GhostFace1301 animations and graphics are cut down by the red dead online team. The single player is handled by one team and the online is handled by another. They sped up a lot of the animations to improve gameplay and frame rate. The number of npcs has also significantly decreased. Similar thing happened to gta online. However since red dead 2 was originally made for next gen the game still looks good and still includes wildlife/animals in the map
It really sucks. I mean, with how nostalgic and how joyful it was to play multiplayer in the first one, I'm not feeling too good about online, either. Sucks, man. Maybe it'll improve afterall it is in beta.
The first red dead's online was way less entertaining than this.
@@Akabinxstar I guess that's where we disagree, partner. I can't think of a single thing to do in RDR2 online. They took out all the side activities like gambling and shit. I mostly just hunt so I can sell pelts for money because everything is so expensive. Not like it matters anyway when 90% of the catalogue is blocked from me because I'm not a high enough level yet. Just stupid.

@@Akabinxstar Well, you could actually buy stuff if you had the money. Having gang/possy wars and battling for territory was great. I'm not sure if you could gamble in the first one on online.. You could unlock unique stags like bulls and donkeys and shit which seems to be nulenvoid here.

Yeah...Rockstar Game's control schemes for their characters aren't crisp. Usually the rest of the single player experience makes up for that, but the multiplayer can become a frustrating mess in a Rockstar Rockstar Games title due to their "lax" control schemes.

Now after gta5 even less so, its all about the free roam and until forced free aim exists.
Those adversary modes are just to waste time.

GTA online aim is the exact same? What's the big deal. Usually support your decisions but it's gonna take practice for you to get comfortable. And main strats are cover and dive just like GTA online & red dead 1 online.
It's to simplistic with the auto-aim. GTA has free aim lobbies as did the original RDR.

@@Ordinaryorion777 I played the full story in free aim, will pop heads when the free-aim lobbies open. I doubt anyone is struggling with the auto-aim mechanics, nothing wrong playing that way if you're enjoying the game and but it doesn't feel as rewarding to me.
CheifChan I loved gta online and rdr aim, this one is so fucking slow!!!!!!!!!feels like I’m playing story mode with those slow physics when it comes to combat it’s not fast paced enough!!!!!!!. An then you get killed and it takes a while to see who killed you... so fucking Annoying I’m really disappointed, and I don’t feel like playing it anymore. Again it’s because It doesn’t feel like I’m playing an online game. You can’t see who joins lobby, who leaves, can’t see the players in the lobby screen quickly, Map takes too long to see even if you hold pause, and a bunch of other free roam aspects stuff missing. The fun pvp modes are missing wtf is wrong with these showdowns, they should bring back the modes from the first rdr online, and keep the new ones for the people who like them. I understand it’s beta and the online aspects like who joins, leaves and who is in the lobby will be implemented later on, but damn I’m scared about the aim, I think that the fucking slow aiming will stay smh

I love Red Dead 2 but man the online sucks. I cant even explain all of my complaints in a single comment. It's not fun to play in really any aspect. It's a massive shame because Red Dead 2's single player is some of the best I've played in years and the multiplayer is some of the worst I've played in years.
Do you have any friends? Play the coop missions they're a fucking blast to play. I agree with staying away from competitive modes tho
Brace Land I indeed have a lot of friends and they all hate this game online lol. Can't do the co-op missions when I have infinitely respawning enemy players fucking with me. If you're enjoying it, that's great. I will politely play a different game for my multiplayer needs

Damon I loved Red Dead 1's multiplayer, it was a ton of fun. I have so many fond memories of playing rdr1 online with friends. The microtransactions and need for money (which is ridiculously harder to earn online than in single player, while everything got hiked up in price) kills a ton of the fun in rdr2 online imo, among a thousand other things.
I did a mission with a friend and earned 6$. Then we hunted for a few minutes and earned like 5$. I bought ten oatcakes for my horse which were ten dollars then my camp upkeep took my last dollar from me. No thanks. I'm sure there's easier ways to make cash but good Lord is it stingy. 2k & Rockstar gotta make that gold bar cash doe so keep everything hard to get unless you pay real money

They need to add a round based two team game mode, where everyone only has one life. And the rounds are like 5 mins
Few things:
1: Showdown. Having different levels for each weapon you use to kill is going against everything about gaming.
A kill is a kill, you let the player decide how he kills the opponent. And vice versa. A piston, or a knife should be the same. You should not get more points for what weapon you use.
2: I could be missing this option , but a passive mode for online like GTA5.
3: The Most obvious, the monetary system in the game is chaos. I match of showdown large for an average play through yeilds about 3$. And considering just to get "rifling upgrade" cost over 80, there needs to be something done about it. I think a match of showdown should be yeilding about 9-13$ a match. Based on performance. A bonus for the MVP maybe an extra 5$ or something. And in exchange for the larger rewards, a slight loss for thoughs who dont play to their full potential, basically something to be won, and something to be lost, in order to justify the larger rewards per match. The gold system, errrr, the game can work with or without it, but id vote for cash systen over gold in a game. Keeps things more simple.
Also for the microtran$action shinnanigans, i think 10$ should get you 450 in game money. As knowing rockstar they will make it something like 12.99 for only 250.. working in a real world, and soending my hard earned money on a game iv already supported by buying, i should not be getting a hard time whennit comes to buying in game fake non essential to the real world, money....
at least it doesn't have the broken combat roll

I'm enjoying it.. I feel like £60 I spent on single has been way beyond justified, as the campaign overtook my favourite games prior (rdr 1 and the Witcher 3).
I feel like the online is just a nice bonus. But I think we should critique it and be vocal, but not out right slam as they have a full page on their sight dedicated to feedback. I feel like they are ready to change things this time around, compared to GTA. The beta thing is a superb idea as implementing changes is a fraction of the cost it was for GTA. Give them a chance is all I'm saying.

Red dead redemption 1 had the best shooting physics and bullet damage I have ever seen in a game. The animations when the guys hit the ground were so good.
I completely agree with the auto aim statements. I set all my controls to auto aim before booting up online in hopes being put in auto aim servers like red dead 1 and GTA V only to find that the only way to play is lock on... I would enjoy this game twice over if they added those servers.

Cores seem to drain super quick in multiplayer, constant random "Rockstar server side disconnect"s, laggy response times, trying to make money is a grind, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that felt a bit disappointed with RD Online. Also, I haven't been able to find/buy/equip any bandoliers online, either. Bummerrrrrrrrrr

I respect that you’re standing up for your opinion, even if it is probably going to be an unpopular one based on how well liked RDR2 is among the gaming community. However, I also disagree with your opinion. Yeah, the deathmatches are pretty rage-inducing when you’re playing them for the first time and haven’t done any pvp in the game yet, but once you’ve played for a couple days, you get used to the controls.
Also, you’re saying I your title that you don’t like Red Dead Online. If you’re just trying to say you don’t like the combat system, that’s fine, but don’t let that ruin your view on online mode entirely. Honestly, if you posse up with a couple of friends, the game can be very fun.
You don’t just have to fight people. You can also do missions, go hunting, and have lasso fights. It really is the most fun I’ve had in a game in a while, and I hope that after a couple days of playing it more you see things that way too, but if you don’t, like I said, it’s perfectly fine. Everyone’s got their own opinion, and that includes each of us.

Surprised you didn't talk about the card system. Found some guy the other day with a card called "never without one" Makes it so that headshots only take your hat off and don't kill or damage you. Not sure if you knew but if you're on your horse you can instantly re-equip your hat without any animation or cooldown and he figured out how to really abuse that.
