I remember learning the 5x5 before there were youtube tutorials on it and I had to print out a lot of pages of directions on ways to solve it lol. Don't give up. The 5x5 is my all time favorite puzzle. Solve the center inner square on each side first !
Nice. My new 9x Yuxin should arrive today. It takes me 45 mins to do my 7x cube, so I’m expecting a couple hours solve time for the 9x. I gotta find a better method for fixing the last two edges on these higher order cubes. The method I use on 5x cubes starts to get a little confusing and repetitive on 6x and up. Anyway, well done sir!
Hey, thanks for taking the time to comment. That's not bad time and I'm sure as you practice you will develop a better method but I use two main algorithms for the last edges. They either switch or flip an edge. If u grab more edges you can affect more edge cubies! Try looking into that. Thanks -Daniel😁
Congratulations to your big success in solving the Rubik's Dayan Speedcube of the size 9. You are very good in the perseverance, in the persistence, in the intuition and in the knowledge of the algorithms too. And it was a lot of sensational entertainment for me. I really love to watch candidates solving the cube. Currently I repeat all the last layer algorithms of the Rubik's Cube of the size 3. It takes a lot of time to learn them all. But in the end, you will be able in an even better way to solve all these constellations of the 3x3x3 Cube by using a smaller and smaller number of moves. That is the goal I am currently trying to achieve. Hopefully I will be successful by just continuing and maintaining the learning process every day. I hope it will work.
That is a very kind and thoughtful response thank you for the comment! I'd say if you continue to practice you will definitely get better and having a low friction cube is a plus too!
I used intuitive moves to solve the centers, then memorized a few algorithms to solve parity situations . Can you solve a 3x3 it has a lot in common with it!
Hey you can do it!! I enjoy going for speed but for a 10x10 I take my time and have fun solving the puzzle. It takes me over an hour but I do have one! I'd recommend a ShengShou10x10 it's a good brand and is easy to turn. I also have V-cubes. Do you like the classic black background with stickers or white background with stickers? Also they have no sticker options which may stand up better against time and friction! But I don't own any.
@@Geniuscuber397 you solve a 7x7 in the time it takes me to do a 5x5 😂 ok what's your favorite brand for speed cubing a 5x5? V -cube, ShengShou, or Eastsheen? Or do you recommend other?
