I am plant based raw vegan. I normal cannot eat anything, however one day I had run out of food. I went to a quick service to order for my family and the cast member went out of her way to make a salad with all raw veggies and they made sure I got my money’s worth of food. She said, “We can’t have you not eat here.” So the good news, is they accommodate for everyone, even me.
Living With Eve I’m whole foods plant based and I was concerned if I could eat everywhere cause my family is all carnivores and we have the quick service meal plan!
Erin P I don’t even know what that is
Erin P yeah I don’t know what that is either?
Doesnt so much raw food hurt your stomach?
@@scandisnowgirl3696 it shouldn't. it's how you would eat in the wild! :)
most jelly snacks arent vegan since they have gelatin but those goofy ones have pectin (which is vegan and from fruit) so thats cool
There was also confectioners glaze in one, which also isn't vegan. :(
Vegan doesn’t equal nasty food! Sometimes the items don’t taste exactly the same, but for me, knowing I’m not causing any pain or suffering is 100% worth it! I’m planning on spending the day at Magic Kingdom in December and will be checking some of these items out for sure!
It would be cool if she had random cast members tell her things to do. Like when she arrives have the cast members at the turnstiles tell her which ride to do first, and then the cast members at that ride tell her what to do next, and so on. I think it would be so spontaneous and fun!
I really appreciate you making this video even though it's not your own personal diet. ♥️
Thanks, Molly! I’m a plant-based Disney fanatic who loves eating at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn, Mama Melrose’s and Yak and Yeti when in the parks.
Just be careful. I’m lactose intolerant and ordered cauliflower tacos off the allergy menu on the mobile order app and the cast members let me know that it does actually have dairy.
Please do a gluten-free version of this! Being GF at Disney is really intimidating and it would be super helpful to be able to see what's available.
You might want to check out jambojoe on insta, he’s a gluten free and pretty much lives at disney
i think you can pick up allergy guides now, if you can't feel free to ask anyone in the park who will point you in the direction of someone that knows. disney goes out of their way to make sure that everyone is happy, unless you are a just a miserable person, then they give your kids coloring books.
Yesssssssss
Disney is amazing with allergies! I live gluten free and dairy free and I ate like a Queen! Mickey waffles, cookies, cupcakes, brownies, they had everything you could thing of!
Almost all of the syrups are vegan. The honey one obviously has honey, and white mocha, caramel and ps sauces all have dairy. But our mocha sauce is diary free!!!
i guess the "plant based" term did confuse her. just ask for vegan.
Good to know!!! I have a dairy allergy and got sick after the pumpkin spice Frappuccino. Now I know it was the syrup
Not all beers, wines etc are vegetarian/vegan (fish bladders used during clarifying/filtering. Sometimes may also gelatine, milk, or seashells). I presume you did actually check the ones you listed though, so that's awesome!
Molly, you are THE BEST! We are a family with some celiac members, so we are looking for info on gluten free foods at WDW. Since you have done the vegan Vlog, will you also do a gluten free vlog? It would be great for a non-celiac to review the food, since not all of our family members like the gf food but will often eat gf in support. Thanks!
Candy Goff with my experience at WDW as a celiac is that Disney is really good about gluten free foods all you have to do is ask
I agree, you are the BEST!
I was going to ask for a gluten-free vlog as well! When we were there on our honeymoon 4 years ago, it was VERY difficult to find gluten free food- Or, the places that did have it always closed early! In the last couple years it has gotten much better. Still, I tend to have stick to the same kind of food, which is fine. A bit more variety would definitely be welcomed, especially if it is there and I just don’t know about it.
Having watched many of Molly‘s videos, I have found new things that I get to try when we go back in July. I’m really excited! Still, I would love to see her do a whole gluten-free video. Also, hopefully they will add the gluten-free menu to mobile ordering soon!
The bakery that she showed second actually has gluten free options, my little bro is sensitive to gluten and we go there every time we’re are at Disney springs. Edit: they are delicious, said brother is super picky and he loves them.
@Candy Goff Hi! I just got back from Disney and am celiac (and also can't handle dairy very well). Every restaurant we went to had a designated person who handled allergy requests for that vendor who would come and speak with me and make recommendations. There was always something pretty great to eat. Especially in Animal Kingdom which was delicious. :) Just an FYI. Hope you have a great time!
That is what I was going to ask too! My son doesn't have celiac but he does have Eosinophilic Esophagitis which is set off due to him also having a wheat allergy so we do gluten free for him.
Thank you so much for doing this, Molly. I’m dairy-free and this was so helpful!!
@@mollycarpify I’m lactose intolerant and this video was everything 😃
So vegan at startbucks is very easy, they are actually aware and made some changes to make thinga vegan.
I worked there for 4 years and I’m very confused because there’s only a few things on the menu that are vegan. And they stopped separating pitchers to keep from cross contaminating so that isn’t safe either
I've been working there for two years and it's kinda easy to remember what syrups are vegan/not. Especially when you have a few vegan co-workers. But yeah we did stop labeling the pitchers.
I work at one now and we don’t label pitchers but we can literally make anything with anything in it so if you say you are vegan we will double wash anything we use separately and use plant based products. Just look online and see if any are vegan to check beforehand what you can drink or consume!
T C why did you guys do that? Do you guys wash them good because my sister is lactose intolerant
Janell Sutton I’m just a barista so I don’t know why they changed the rules but I’m lactose intolerant myself and as long as I’m careful I’m fine! She should just make sure to tell them she is lactose intolerant and a barista will be extra careful.
I could totally bake you cake that you wouldn't know is vegan and it would be moist and not grainy.
The graininess will come from the gluten free aspect of Erin McKenna’s, I’ve had to go gluten free in the past few years and that is the big difference in cakes
Yep.the graininess is the fact it’s gluten free. I made eggless milk less cakes for my son with allergies and people can’t tell the difference
THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!!! 😍😍😍 As a fairly new vegan, I've been dying for a video like this!!! LOVE YOU MOLLY! 💜🙌
I ate a lot of cupcakes on my last trip and that vegan cupcake from Sunshine Seasons was the best one I ate! I dream of that cupcake and didn't know it was vegan until I tried to find the recipe when we got home. Also, super excited about the vegan totcho option. I wanted to try those when we were there but didn't know about the vegan chili. Totally on my list for my next visit!! Thanks for your video!!!
We Love us some Molly! I had to switch to PB 6 months ago for health reasons...perfect timing for this Passholder!
I'm SO GRATEFUL for 2 things...Disney's new PB initiative and MOLLY'S vlogs! (Especially this one) Thanks again, Mol! We love you ❤️
When I was in Disney for 7days, it was really hard to find fresh salad!
I am not a vegan, but most of food are based on meat. I am so happy to hear that Disney is changing menu!!!
Tips2Trips 팁스2트립 '여행정보'채널 i always bring veggies into the park lol
What a great idea!!! I should have selected 'Quick Service Dining Plan'. I regreted to choose 'DDP' because it was so heavy to eat food and use the all the coupons. Next time, I will pack veggies. Thanks.
Great and timely choice of topics, Molly. Thank you for covering this topic! 💖
My daughter and I met you in HS while you were filming this ! Thanks for making our day!
Thank you so much for this! I recently contracted Alpha Gal Syndrome from a tick bite and it makes me severely allergic to anything from a mammal. While I can eat chicken and fish, they are usually cooked alongside meats or coated in batters with milk or fried in shared fryers. Since cross contamination could cause another anaphylactic reaction, I mainly eat vegan outside the house. Most vegans would be shocked to discover the “vegan” foods I am unable to eat once I start asking detailed questions. But it sure looks like I’ll have plenty of choices on my next disney vacation. Again since this is new and scary to me, I thank you so much for making this video and making me feel so much better about planning my next trip!
That sounds rough. I’m dealing with food issues as well , it’s hard!
Me, a vegetarian with a dairy sensitivity watching her struggle to order at Starbucks: tee hee
right? I'm vegan myself. it's so relatable. 🙃
Thanks Molly, great video, I've been waiting for you to do this subject, although I am veggie and not vegan its super helpful to know that there are SO many options. Hoorah!
I can't have aspartame as it aggravates my mobility issues, so knowing about the ingredients binder is great for if I ever go to WDW. Hopefully Paris has the same policy
Emma Jenkins yes Paris does. Though not sure if aspartame is a listed allergy
I think E951 is how it’s labeled in Europe. So make sure You know the other names/labels it’s identified under
The meat balls in GE, are plant based Kefta with hummus. I love this dish.
So awesome, thanks so much for all your hard work and great information!!
Just finished our family trip to WDW over Christmas and New Year's day. My daughter and son in law are dedicated vegans. They were thrilled with all the options that they had in all the parks and in our resort. Kudos to Disney for their directive. We are pretty set in our ways to where we eat. You have show a few locations we need to try next time. Thanks.
It was so nice to meet you Molly when your were visiting Sassagoula Floats. It was so unexpected and it made my trip even better. Thanks for being you 😁
Thank you for this video! I'm so excited to have so many tasty plant based options!!
I'm not a vegan or vegetarian but this video was very interesting!
Not sure if anyone commented about the beer being “gluten removed” yet but basically they add an enzyme to the beer that removes the gluten. If you have celiac disease I do not recommend those beers because they could still effect you, but if you just have an allergy or sensitivity to gluten those will be fine for a gluten free option. I know of a couple of breweries that add the enzyme to all their beers which is super cool. I looked online and there are like 15 breweries that do this.
Going strong as a vegan for 2 years now! 💪🏻 Disney World is such a fun place with so many options! It's really easy to be vegan especially in 2019 AND Google! 😅
I always think it is funny when people are surprised that chocolate can be vegan... unless you are eating milk or white chocolate, there is nothing in chocolate that would be animal based. Plain dark chocolate usually contains cocoa solids, cocoa butter and sugar, which are all vegan. This was a really interesting video, it is really nice to see that the parks and resorts are trying to provide more options for those who eat a vegan diet. The food in Galaxy's Edge looks really exciting, I am looking forward to getting back to the park to check it out.
Yayyy! Can't wait to try these on my first trip to WDW next year!
Molly, you are THE BEST! Thank you for this video
Imagine being that comfortable to vlog in public, such a useful video thank uuu xx
they use vegan butter on the waffles so essentially margarine like most restaurants, you just don't realize it
Hi Molly, we enjoy your videos so much. I have a friend and her daughter who are celiacs, it would be fantastic to have a gluten free vlog too. You are AMAZING! Thank you ;0)
Thank you so much for this video. I'm a vegetarian, but in the past years it had been very difficult for even me to find things in the restaurants to eat. It's do nice to know I now have vegan options. ❤
I’ve done this at Disneyland. I’m not vegetarian or vegan, but I love the Ronto-less Wrap at Galaxy’s Edge!
You just earned a new subscriber! Thank you so much this was very helpful!💕
I love the veggie korma at Sunshine Seasons - my only complaint is my serving seemed skimpy compared to the people ahead of me in line 🤷🏼♀️
I can’t wait to try some of these!
Thank you for this Video, I can’t have Soy and you just helped me find so much to eat for my vacations
It was fun watching you try all of those plant based food. Very informational!
Thank you so much for this!!! The latest vegan options are of such good quality, thank you for sharing the positive vibes!!! Oh.... love the 'teeth' check @ 26:30 lololol
This was so helpful. I’m new to the plant based world and was worried about what I would eat when we went. I figured I would have to just eat what I do every time we go but now I know I have more options ! So great ! Thank you for doing this!!
I had the feast a la festin the vegan breakfast meal at be out guest. I am not vegan, actually ordered by accident but it was actually pretty good and I really enjoyed the vegan pastries for those that are curious.
thank you so much for doing this! very cool idea!
Thank you so much for this helpful video! I've watched a bunch of vegan food rec videos, and you are the only one who mentioned the plant based guide and where to find it. You're very thorough at what you do, and I made note of some of your recs for my trip. If you can, please do an updated video with vegan foods and maybe gluten free options too. Thank you!
Thanks for this video!
As posted before, Molly’s eyes are very expressive......like or dislike, the “EYE’S” never lie.
I am not Vegan but I am interested in implementing it into my diet. I have a very sensitive stomach and not eating meat and any animal products help a lot. I'm just starting but this was so informative and quite interesting. I also love that you committed and didn't complain the whole time like some people do when they try these kind of videos. Love this, thank you so much for making this!
'yeah this is kinda like if someone who didn't eat cheese...told someone what cheese was...' I'm done. lmao. love it. Subscribed!
Most of the Starbucks favoring syrups are vegan. The pumpkin spice one is the only one (that I know of) that has dairy in the syrup. You can order any drink (besides pumpkin spice) with a plant based milk as long as you don’t get whipped cream, caramel drizzle, or java chips.
Love that you did this! We love to eat plant based and have dairy allergies, and so appreciate you showing how easy it is to get those options at WDW! Also, Melissa and her team at vegandisneyworld have been a priceless resource for me!
Love watching your videos! Somewhat non-Disney related but where is your raincoat from? Love the green/stripe combo!
Hey Molly!
Awesome vid!
What do you take with you in your backpack to the parks?
Thanks for this video, I’m going in September, and this really helped, just subbed.
Really impressed with Disney’s recently added vegan options. My favorite used to be this amazing vegan flatbread sandwich with a potato salad they had at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot. They took both items off the menu which was so disappointing. Love the plant-based hotdog at Casey’s Corner. I’ve heard Rose & Crown has a vegan fish & chips but I haven’t tried yet.
Amazing thanks so much! Your a dream to watch!
“I also got a side of fruit…and by that I mean a glass of wine” 😂 luv you Molly
Thank you so much for doing this video. I’m always so happy when non-vegans take some time to research and try plant based food. Whether people eat vegan for allergies, animals or the environment, other people raising the profile increases the availability and options for us. I absolutely love this channel!
Yay! Options that I’ll never use but I have been enlightened! 🧐I will however order a side of “fruit”
Thank you for making this video!!!
Thanks for covering Vegan options - We are getting a lot of requests for this for Canadian Snowbirds!
I had the plant-based Perkins Thai Noodles
(tofu, seasonal vegetables and rice noodles tossed in a spicy soy-chile garlic sauce) at the MK Skipper Canteen and it was fantastic! One of the best menu items!
Took my daughter, who is on a gluten free dairy free diet, to Disney for the first time this year. Erin Mckenna's was a big hit. She also loved the allergen friendly beignet.
Erin McKenna is so delish! I tried ice cream, a cupcake and a cookie sandwich and they were all so good!
My absolute favorite plant based item at disney is the southwest bowl at fairfax fare in HS. it’s so good i crave it all the time!!! I am totally not on a plant based diet but it was just the best option and i definitely do not regret it! one of the best disney meals i’ve had!
This was really helpful. My family recently switched to Vegan and this gives some good ideas for our upcoming Disney trip.
Could you do a Zero waste day in Disney?
Ivy oh, I *love* this idea!!
there are a lot of those videos here on youtube!!
Thank you for this!!!
Good to know about the ingredient binder. There was a lot of foods I was skeptical about with my senstivities not knowing how it's cooked or the ingredients inside the food. The Mickey pretzel, for example, I wouldn't know if I could eat it and never thought about asking to see the ingredients. I just assumed it wouldn't be safe. Although not vegan, this video helped me a bit finding foods I could possibly eat with my sensitivities. I love discovering new foods I can actually eat, especially foods I assume I can't eat with out knowing the ingredients.
I just ADORE Erin McKenna's for my gluten free treats!!! Such an amazing place since it's SUPER hard to find great and cheap ish baked goods that are gf, and I'm a baker
I'm looking forward to try Dole whip 😋
My husband (meat eater) and I (vegan) watched this together and his least favorite thing for me to make is something with cheese, so the grilled
Cheese review made us both laugh pretty hard! Thanks for a great video!
>.> Ok my fourth comment lol. Gluten removed is where they add an enzyme to break down the gluten in the liquid so it's less than 10 ppm, which is the lowest measurable threshold and anyone strict gluten free will not have a reaction to that. I consider that up to debate as my friend has probably the most severe case of Celiac Disease and certain thing like Mike's Hard Lemonade that's gluten removed, sets her off. Whereas I'm totally fine and also someone with Celiac Disease. Hard cider's and wine should inherently be GF but sometimes they will add barley to certain cider's (like trying to do a grain based beverage) but it will be stated on the bottle if it contains gluten.
Love you Molly I also click so fast for your videos I’m going to Disney in January I’m so excited
Us too girl!
Molly McCormack ok stop faking a channel
Clairadennise why did you say that
Love to see a video for diabetic.
That would be great for me too
Thank you doing this video love ❤️
Just recently watched this! Thank you so much for checking all these out! Will so watch it several more times & notate items I see on menus (as well as ask restaurant CM’s if I’m not sure). Dole Whip heaven!!!! OMG, I hope I get the opportunity to.check out Erin McKenna’s Bakery is DS when I first arrive!
Thank you so much for doing this video! I'm not vegan but I do avoid some animal products, specifically dairy, so this was very helpful for my upcoming trip. The food looks amazing!
Hi Molly, so addicted to your vlogs! I also gotta say you are fit, your other half is one lucky guy!!! Keep em coming
As soon as I heard vegan grilled cheese I was thinking ooohhhh she's not gonna like it. I like most vegan cheese, but it doesn't taste like dairy cheese 😆
I recently tasted one that had the sort of texture and creaminess of ricotta. It’s definitely an expectation vs reality situation. I’m a meat eater, but I had it at the vegan festival in our city. As someone who keeps kosher I’m on the lookout for vegan cheese we can put on our burgers and other meat.
Thank you so much! My family has gone plant based so we try to avoid animal products where we can. This is excellent news!
I would love to see something like this but for sugar free desserts and sweets. I'm diabetic but unfortunately I have a huge sweet tooth.
Our family loves your videos Molly! Would love to see a video about Gluten Free options at WDW.
Really appreciate this video
I’m vegetarian (I’m 14) and on my Disney trip to Hollywood studios(FL) I wasn’t sure if I was going to have to make an exception for a day but in the new Star Wars area i orders a pasta with plant based meat sauce from the plant based menu and I really enjoyed it :)
Not all alcohol is vegan. Most alcohol is filtered with animal parts or byproducts. They can use dairy, eggs, fish, and more. There is also honey in some wines. Just a a heads up.
What do I need to look up to figure this out I’m a vegetarian and I had no idea about this
This was super helpful. My niece is allergic to dairy and does NOT like meat, so we often look for vegan foods. We're going on her first WDW trip, and we are trying to plan as much as we can :) Thank you!
Loved your “side if fruit” comment, meaning wine.
I have celiac disease and would love to know what other places have gluten free options!
Gluten Removed is less than 10ppm of gluten and is made (in beer at least) by adding an agent (usually algae) that clumps together proteins.
Less than 10ppm is typically fine for gluten allergies and sensitivities, but I have heard Celiac's can be aggregates by anything higher than 2ppm.
Love this video
Hey molly! I am recently going to Disney and I am hoping if you can do a ‘what’s in my Disney park bag’ video! It would help me out a lot to help me decide what to bring. Love you! ❤️
I recommend the spicy southwestern plant based burger at Restaurantosaurus. I also love the Fried Green Tomato Sandwich at Rosie's All- American Cafe. I vegetarian but not vegan so I can have cheese.
Side of fruit...and by that I mean a glass of wine. Girl, timing on that video very nearly made me spew my own wine. Lol
Great video. Helping feed my Disney cravings.... Looking forward to the gluten free video!!!! :)
Egg replacement for vegan cakes can be apple sauce or aquafaba ( chick pea juice)
