@@Warstu no yeah definitely but that’s not the audiences fault, that’s the studios. I always see people say marvel isn’t doing well & they list movies that did awful from them but always fail to mention how much money that movie made at face value regardless of the budget

Super excited for doctor strange 3 he is my favorite marvel character
Doctor strange is one of the elite characters, from the creativr fighting scenes to his potential future growth. yes the writing in MoM wasnt elite due to covid delays/reshoots, overall i enjoyed the movie. That aside we have a bunch of evidence suggesting he is one of the most powerful beings. he isnt a tank and he has lost a couple battles to universal level threats but his potential to become the best of us and the biggest threat of the multiverse is exceptional and i cant wait to see where they take him next, we know his journey is far from over! we have only seen the emergence of Dr strange!
You gotta fair and atleast mention the reason MoM had to be reshot and it only involved a worldwide pandemic that shut things down so they had to adjust everything on the fly.

Bro what? He is one of most powerful people in the universe and on the alternate earth basically beat Thanos himself. He also had longest and best one on one with Thanos for the regular 616 Avengers when they had the mystic dual on Titan. Not only that his first 2 movies were both bangers, and his 3rd is actually the most important story to the Secret Wars storyline.
And MoM only had one scene with cameos.

Also Ironman and Thor did better against thanos anyways, strange did no damage tho it looked cool, Tony and Thor actually injured/made thanos bleed, doctor strange is powerful by words only his second movie he constantly gets bodied bro so I don’t care how powerful you guys claim him to be when he gets knocked out like 3 times in MoM and is running from Wanda the whole movie, pleading with her…he’s so pathetic now he’s not even the sorcerer supreme and he got outplayed by Spiderman. So bro isn’t even the most powerful avenger and his second movie was marketed heavily thro cameos to the point where most were shown in marketing. Spiderman is gonna make more money and has more fans and more people who wanna see it and that’s a fact, if you disagree that’s your opinion but Spiderman outsells Doctor strange any day of the week, the fictional power level is irrelevant

Thats not even my point, strange can’t do anything on his own and he don’t even get cool action scenes anymore he’s a joke, idc how important to the story he is if his part is so bland and boring, even his variants are underwhelming. DR doom is the dumbest marvel villain ever, may as well call him big bad scary guy, never could take him seriously even for a second. Big powers dont make a good character, but a bad name can ruin it. Cant even rewatch the infinity saga knowing it's all about to be undermined and marvel is about to be bled of all its money from such a pathetic desperation move as hiring back RDJ, as soon as I put on iron man now I cant help but shut it off before he even gets the suit cuz it's all just ruined knowing thats coming. Maybe don't risk it if it knocks 40 of your movies off peoples watch lists forever.
I'm sorry, but if you're calling Doom a dumb villain, I don't think you really know all about him. I really suggest checking out 'Books of Doom', it's a masterclass on comic-making, there's a long video format available on UA-cam.

@@hritviknijhawan1737 dr. evil was a joke name for a reason, I cant take dr.doom remotely seriously, it's already too stupid. The design is definitely generic garbage, like the supreme example of a generic design. And dooms writing is just like eric cartman making up new powers from that ninja star episode, it gets fing old. Maybe you' were just THAT kid and he feels validating to you. His power is ridiculous and it's only a testament to how little they actually cared about him, throwing powers at him as they needed, sounds pretty lazy to me. The only interesting thing about him are his attitudes ruling latveria, and thats not even that interesting.
@@josephcarlson9487 Doom's character design is considered one of the best often, this is the first time I've seen someone insult it. But even keeping that apart, Doom's powers aren't just the 'make up whatever you want'. As I said, if you actually see his origin, you'll learn how he achieved what he did. Doom's story is tragic, interesting and very colorful.
He's a man who achieved the Power of the Gods. And after doing everything he could with it, he only realised how it was so weak, so beneath the concept of what Doom is. He is a genius, rivalling the smartest man in Marvel, and a master of the darkest arts which he didn't just magically *gain* them for the plot. He studied for multiple years under some of the greatest Magic users in the Marvel universe-namely Doctor Strange and Morgan Le Fay. He has put very big efforts and a lot of time to become so powerful. The only power Doom was born with, is his willpower-so strong that he could resist mind attacks by sheer will. Doom is considered a villain, and yet he has saved the Marvel multiverse, and people like Storm come to him for help and advice. The goddess Bast saw that only under Doctor Doom could the world truly achieve world peace.
Doom is a fantastic character, and anyone who says he's a generically written character is either unaware or ignorant of his story, or is doing it on purpose. Just go check out Books of Doom to truly understand who he is.
