Thank you Elma and Scaz, that was an awesome session with Abbie . Great conversation and Abbie sharing and being so generous was great. Such an important topic.
Abbie Ward doing the lord's work, as the saying goes. Stunning athletes; warmth and intelligence shines through here and Elma has a great natural way of holding the space for these important/enlightening conversations. Always so impressed with how generous & authentic the guests & hosts are. BTW, when are you gonna get some GSR merch going, those mugs look tasty!
"The Lord's work", seriously? Do we not live in the 21st century? It is about time employers valued employees and made it possible for a woman to have a kid and be supported. If rugby leads the way, what does the "lord" say about other businesses who resist such egality? Maybe he is a bit blind to inegality everywhere else! SERIOUSLY!!!
Cool Chat - Go Keswick !!! (my mum was from Keswick) and as a fellow Cumbrian good to hear about rugby in the North (or should that be far North !!!!!)
have enjoyed your shows. if you need players for the north, why not join with some southern hem clubs aus ,nz or sa to get some of their up coming players , this would help both clubs and also players to develop the game and encourage more women to play and learn the game in the northern part of the country. take care,
"I want to prove I'm at Bristol because I'm a good player" Abbie genuinely doesn't seem to realise that she would walk into any squad in the world and start at 5
Scan gets through session without a cough and great to hear grown women referring to the "girls" throughout. Great listening

When you say "the Lord", is this entity a male or a female? Be careful as "Lord" emplies male, else it would be "Lady"!!!
Another fantastic episode❤
