I rarely find anything I want at these big annual Nordstrom sales. They don’t really have great, but discounted, merchandise, most of it is specifically made for the sale in inferior fabrics and quality. In the 20 years or so I’ve been searching those sales, I only ever found one item I liked, a suede jacket. I’m not going to bother with it this year, it’s too huge and too much inferior merchandise to look through.
I agree with you, most of this will be in a landfill or rotting away in a pile in a country that doesn’t deserve to have to deal with our trash. This is the same low quality dated stuff they pump out year after year.
Most of them are just very common garments that can be added and will become trash soon! 😂 looks like discount but it’s not worth to invest, none of them are statement pieces.. just may comfort ware in the house 😂

I’m not interested in the upcoming Amazon Prime sale either -- We will not be buying g more “stuff” but instead planning fun trips and vacations and saving up cash instead of going into credit card debt. But- with this said- I appreciate your videos because I do like seeing what is in “style” and how to mix match my clothing and shoe items to stay relevant.

I know this because I too shop petite and have purchased items from all three brands during the Anniversary Sale and at other times. Nordstrom does offer alterations and many are at no charge if the item is purchased at Nordstrom.
Thank u for highlighting Nordy sale! I've already perused online every dept. and very few items speak to me . With the exception of very high priced brands, most selection are quite boring in style and in lower quality fabrics. Definitely not like years past . No FOMO for me
I used to love this sale, yet over the years nothing really apeals to me anymore. The propaganda that these items are "on sale", is not true! As I've bought many of these same kinds of items for less later, or found them elsewhere.
Every year, I receive the mailed catalog and nothing interests me. Next, I see the preview on website and find a few things I'm interested in. Then I watch videos on You Tube and find about 50 items to put on the wish list. LOL! Since I'm only at "influester" status, most things are sold out by the time I am "allowed" to shop. So at least that helps keep the spend down :)
Jaime, I always enjoy your reviews. You highlight the mostly staple pieces that has perhaps better quality than other brands in n the sale. You also keep it real. Times are tough and getting tougher. I normally don’t find much that appeals to me during this sale but I did find a few things I did like. A coat and a few pair of the boots I really liked.
No sneakers Lol….thanks for doing this. I love seeing what others are finding and/or are interested in for this sale. That Avec Les Filles coat is gorgeous, but I over did it on coats in last years sale, so it’s a category I’m sitting out this year. But in all seriousness, check out the Rag and Bone sneakers in the sale, I’m hoping to get the red court sneaker, but I have a feeling it might be one of those pieces that goes quickly

I think there are some good things in the sale. It's just takes some effort to find them, especially ones that need to me what you require.

The Prime sale is also good for beauty products, organizers, little carts, furniture, gourmet foods, health foods, electronics, appliances, etc.
