Thoroughly enjoyed the interview. He touched on a subject that has always been a question for me. Why was Elvis not recognized for the amazing talents he had. There should have been Grammys, Best Actor Award, etc. He sang Gospel so extremely well and received a Grammy for this. He was the only entertainer that could make any song his OWN. But not one award for his capabilities. Sorry, just get carried away. These are just my thoughts, and in addition, he was completely thankful for his fans and extremely generous. He was and is such an exemplary person. He had an amazing heart, just wish he was still with us. No, he will never be forgotten or replaced.💔💓❤ God Bless

You should go one of his concerts. You want be disappointed. He has stories about Elvis and a ton of other people. He's one lucky guy. If you go to Ronniemcdowell.com this Friday he's doing a Facebook live concert since he can't tour. He played last Friday which made me happy because he was supposed to be here in Mississippi for a concert. That darn virus. He was supposed to come back the end of May and that's canceled too. It's really bad for all our entertainers. So many are going live so I appreciate that. Ronnie is a ton of fun. He treats his fans so good. He, his family and everyone who works for him are so down to earth. He has so much talent it's unbelievable. I could go on all day about him. I remember the first time I heard The King Is Gone. It blew me away. I was 13 years old and still sad about Elvis but that song changed everything for me. I told Ronnie my story and it really touched him. He even kissed my hand. Wasn't expecting that but that was a sweet moment. Ronnie loves to talk to his fans, I have tons of autographs, he loves getting his pictures taken with his fan and he gives good hugs. Just a super nice guy.

Ronnie has always impressed me as a wonderful guy and a terrific singer in his own right but when he sings as Elvis, the emotion that he feels comes though better than any of the impersonators. There is a video on UA-cam where he sings “Don’t” that will just blow you away. Did Ronnie ever meet Elvis or see him perform?
    Thanks again Billy!

I love Ronnie's passion when talking about Elvis, he gets across how most of us feel about Elvis. I never understood either why Elvis didn't get all the awards that he should have gotten, so I think Ronnie is on to something when he said that Hollywood and Nashville were jealous of Elvis. So many were jealous of him and still are I think. With fans like Ronnie, Elvis will never die, his memory will live on forever as long as there are fans like him. Off to watch part 2, loving this interview!

We've all heard Ronnie singing Elvis songs - he is one of the few who can do them and what Elvis did justice. Not heard interviews with him before. What a great guy! He obviously holds Elvis in huge regard. He is so right about Elvis not being recognised in his lifetime for his music. He should have had hatfuls of grammys and oscars for his contributions in his lifetime and it's a disgrace that didn't. My own view is that he didn't get them because he didn't play the music industry and hollywood system he didn't turn up to those award events or parties or do chat shows or do many promotional interviews to promote himself. He wasn't a puppet of the system. I know many hate Col Parker but at least he kept Elvis out of that circle.Thank you Spa Guy top interview. :)

I agree in they were JEALOUS of Elvis and why he didn't get the recognition that he deserved. He knew his fans appreciated him.
