lol I remember when Duran said "say goodnight Stukov", before shooting him, so the inverse situation where Stukov says "I've come to say goodnight you son of a bitch" is hilarious.
What I mean is that Narud or Duran during Brood Wars was the reason why Stukov got killed because he was suspicious to Duran and Duran decides to trick Gerard that Stukov is a traitor because he was a obstacle to his plans and Stukov wanted to destroy the Zergs instead of controlling them and if Gerard did listen to Stukov they might have won the war and as of Stukov joining Kerrigan in StarCraft 2, Kerrigan during Brood Wars was under the influence of the Overmind and Amon so she has no control of herself and Stukov is a unique infested terran that can think and can do what he wants to do and he cannot go back to Earth and if he did manage to get back they might kill him or experimented on him so he has no choice but join Kerrigan, I mean sure its awkward to join the one of the reason that your allies and friends are dead but since he has no place to go and she is the only one who would accept him as he is then he has no choice but to join and Amon was everyone enemy and there is a saying that "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." and in the end he manage to kill Duran who is the reason why Stukov got turn into an infested terran and why Gerard is dead the UED Expeditionary Fleet got defeated and scattered. So as I said before Stukov avenge the deaths of his allies by killing Duran who trick Gerard into believing him and being use as pawn to his plans till the vey end without knowing it.
Narud used Kerrigan as a puppet. He sabotaged UED war effort and created perfect opening for Kerrigan. While Kerrigan was the tool that destroyed UED fleet real mastermind was Narud. Old Kerrigan ''died'' when xel'naga construct fired so only one left to kill to avange the deaths of UED Expeditionary Fleet was Narud whom got killed in this video.
@Valek O'Keefe I mean it's true that Kerrigan the one who destroyed most of the UED fleet, but if Gerard trusted Stukov more than Duran, the outcome might be different and who knows maybe the UED fleet might have won the war.
first, all xel naga (amon being the only exception) can be killed by pretty much anyone. the zerg, controlled by amon killed almost all the xel naga, hell, they extint them, thousands of xel naga died at the fangs of the zerg, why are you so shocked by just another one??

Hell, UED proved to be inferior to the Dominion when they arrived and had to loot their tech on the go. But then again, that's probably a strength rather than a weakness. 27:31 Really, Duran, Narud or whatever that thing is called, had this coming for a long time. And good. UED Forces, DuGalle, Stukov and countless lost lifes finally have got vengeance they deserve.
These last few missions were so good. Each race did what they are best at: Protoss: deathball. Terran: point defense Zerg: rapid deployment, absorbing losses.
many people think stukov is infested terrain but to be more accurate, he is more of human-zerg hybrid as he still retains his intelligence and wield psionic power comparable to old queen of the blades. arbathur stated that stukov was integration of terrain zerg matter. if is just infestation arbathur would understand and copy completely, but this was done by xelnaga's genetic engineering skills he can't copy
Very likely that many Starcraft fans cheered loudly in their homes or offices when Narud/Duran was vanquished. Too bad Stukov didn't use a realistic-sounding gun like Duran did against him.
Personally, I wished the Duran voice actor was in this one. It's fine that Duran was a Xel'Naga, but I feel those (like me) didn't catch it at first glance that Narud was Duran.
-Starcraft 1- Duran: Say good night Stukov. Stukov: To hell with y- *gunshot* -Starcraft 2- Duran: Have you come to gloat? Stukov: No, I have come to say good night you son of a bitch.
God, to this day I wish they'd had Stukov say "Hello Lieutenant Duran... Do you remember what you did to me?" when confronting Narud. The "Lieutenant" would have really tied it all together, especially with that "Say good night" callback.
I played the Starcraft Broodwar in my childhood days. I remember Jim Raynor and Fenix trust Kerrigan until they are betrayed by her. And now I'm nervously trusting Kerrigan again.
Yes, but we compare those battlecruisers to Leviathans that are said to be one of the largest spacefaring species and a Protoss ark ship that meant to act as the same way as "Noe's bark", just for the Protoss. One is a commander/transportation unit and the other is a freaking space fortress meant to save an advanced species from extinction. Compared to these, I don't see why should standard battlecruisers be an equal.
NC Quadraxis lol good question. Maybe he just got cocky. Hubris yo. Or since ouuros had a ton of power (kerrigan defeated Amon with it) so he probably tried to pick them off before they could get to him, no idea. Good question. I wanna know why as well
Or maybe Amon was weakened from the war with his kin... the war that left him in that place... Just like Narud said, when they die, they return to that place... Hence it's safe to say that both Ouuros and Amon were heavily wounded and had to return there, neither capable of killing each other, but only to move certain pieces on the board, as they always did... So yes... it makes sense that they aren't both dead... one because he had a fucking forcefield around him, the other because he simply didn't possess enough power to do so... But the pure wrath of Kerrigan, formed and reformed and reformed by all of her experiences. Her will was honed and tested many times, from the first zerg-ification, to the primal transformation...
That's the main issue, whatever form the Xel'Naga have outside the realm of the void has no impact at all, the only thing Amon would have trouble with after his defeat is coming up with a plan and enough psionic energy so that he can manifest himself physically in the "real realm" essentially, but in the void he and Narud etc suffer no implications of their wounds done to them on their physical bodies outside the void. Plus the void is an extension of Amon's will, which would overpower Ouros sooner or later so once again, makes no sense that he would keep him prisoner, even less sense that Narud, a lesser Xel'Naga is able to keep Ouros prisoner at all.
Narud/Duran: Have you come to kill me? Stukov: Yes… Narud/Duran: For revenge? Stukov: No… Raynor and Kerrigan: (cranking up the USSR Anthem) Stukov: This is for Vodka… for my Sandvich… my life… my best friend DuGalle… the fact you infested me… AND FOR PLAYING THIS RUSSIAN MAN LIKE A DAMN FIDDLE! (He fires a corrosive blast) Artanis, Horner and Valarian: Was that necessary? Raynor and Kerrigan: Yes Tassadar: (mind) I can’t believe these two are still chaotic…
Feel like the missing dialogue from Kerrigan about needing help to destroy Amon would be like: "I know you all have a reason to not trust me... but Amon has affected all of us, and like me, you want to make him pay"
Whereas Duran/Narud could mainifest himself as a shapeshifter, he was a lesser Xel'Naga, like the primal Zerg where to Zerg. Remember, Amon needed a host body, so he is one of the gods who can break the cycle (IOW a Xel'Naga from the beginning. Amon was not always cruel and bad, he fell. Like the fallen angels of God are Demons. Dura/Narud is an angle in that regard.
the writers of course! The literal official phrase was "Amon unleashed the swarm, and the zerg devoured the xelnaga" Note how it doesnt say "enhanced" zerg, or "powered zerg" or "void fueled zerg". So thats the official fact, the zerg, plain and simply devoured the xel naga, without needing to be xel naga themselves. And yes, there´s a reason that the Overmind had special protections against most forms of damage.... It was the core of Amon´s plan to control the zerg! it was the most important piece of the entire chessboard, a brood of one, made specially to be the most powerful weapon at Amons disposal, and thus, was made very differently to regular zergs. Nonetheless, the fact that the Overmind is a very special organism with special powers and protections doesnt change the fact that the zerg (zerglings, hydralisks and a long etc) devoured the xel naga and killed them by the thousands.
To think Kerrigan has to become Xel Naga not just because of her destiny but also she wants a redemption by cleanse herself from the bloodshed she had done as Queen of Blades. This scene gave us a insight of redeeming ourself whether we have caused others' pain intentionally or not.
It was kind of cheap to make the image of Tassadar false. Seemed more like fanservice. But a lot of story lines nowadays lack the heft of a solid background with a considerate presence of anything else, and many events are just spectacle and temporary throwaways.
To me, it actually feels like they intended Tassadar to be something completely different. I never could shake the feeling that they started something in WoL and completely changed their mind by HotS (possibly to simplify the story, perhaps not really knowing themselves what to do, and cut costs). But we will never know.
I was under the impression that Stukov just killed his body, Like Primal evils in Diablo anyone strong can kill the bodies but truly killing them takes more

*Say goodnight you son of a bitch.* Alexei Stukov, Infested Terran, Starcraft 2 LoV.
I love that throwback after all those years.
Trust me some fucks you like that you will remember it
Damn, I keep forgetting how small Battlecruisers are compared to Leviathans.
omg that scene when all the zerg protoss and terran enter the void together is just so cool
So glad to see Stukov finally get his revenge after all these years against Duran
Ourus: You Kerrigan can merge with Essence
Dehaka in the leviathan being hold back by 4 Ravasaurs: Must collect Xel' naga essence
XD
27:31 Really, Duran, Narud or whatever that thing is called, had this coming for a long time. And good. UED Forces, DuGalle, Stukov and countless lost lifes finally have got vengeance they deserve.
29:48 Sarah no! It was hard enough for me to turn that booty back from a Zerg let alone a Xel'naga.
Ouros: SARAH YES!!!!
So you wouldn’t change bug butt for godly butt? Ok
@@mudyao 🤣🤣😂😂 perfect comment lmao
17 years in the making for this retribution.
"I came to say good night, you son of a bitch."
0:36 Jim: So what's going on Sarah?
Zeratul: Ahh.. I just explained it to you already.
27:47 to 27:53 "no i've come to say good night you son of a bitch" LOVE IT
These last few missions were so good. Each race did what they are best at:
Protoss: deathball.
Terran: point defense
Zerg: rapid deployment, absorbing losses.
many people think stukov is infested terrain but to be more accurate, he is more of human-zerg hybrid as he still retains his intelligence and wield psionic power comparable to old queen of the blades. arbathur stated that stukov was integration of terrain zerg matter. if is just infestation arbathur would understand and copy completely, but this was done by xelnaga's genetic engineering skills he can't copy
StarCraft BW:
Duran: Say good night Stukov...
StarCraft 2 :
Stukov: 27:48 😎
Very likely that many Starcraft fans cheered loudly in their homes or offices when Narud/Duran was vanquished. Too bad Stukov didn't use a realistic-sounding gun like Duran did against him.
"Your vodka can wait general."
"Come, stand here. You need to see this."
that's for BROODWAR AND UED(Best friend DeGuelle and his army)
Personally, I wished the Duran voice actor was in this one. It's fine that Duran was a Xel'Naga, but I feel those (like me) didn't catch it at first glance that Narud was Duran.
Wait are you being ironic? N-a-r-u-d D-u-r-a-n?
@@SynneDennis Pretty easy to pass that off as coincidence on its own
"You have our blades, Kerrigan....after you construct additional pylons."
:P
-Starcraft 1-
Duran: Say good night Stukov.
Stukov: To hell with y- *gunshot*
-Starcraft 2-
Duran: Have you come to gloat?
Stukov: No, I have come to say good night you son of a bitch.
God, to this day I wish they'd had Stukov say "Hello Lieutenant Duran... Do you remember what you did to me?" when confronting Narud.
The "Lieutenant" would have really tied it all together, especially with that "Say good night" callback.
OMG I just realised stukov’s last word to duran/narud is exactly the same words said by duran when he killed stukov in broodwar
I didn’t realize it the first time either
Broodwar:
Duran: "Say good night Stukov"
LotV:
Stukov: "I've come to say...'Goodnight', you son of a bitch"
That kill was so satisfying
I played the Starcraft Broodwar in my childhood days. I remember Jim Raynor and Fenix trust Kerrigan until they are betrayed by her. And now I'm nervously trusting Kerrigan again.
And this is how Stukov got his revange against Narud aka Duran.
What a unique way to end a video with end cards popping out one after another.
Kinda sad that the battlecruisers are smaller.... maybe should turn them into battlecarriers.
It's only logical that pure combat ships would be quite... _compact_ compared to a world ship and space giants.
Well, Egon did invent Mecha-Battle-Carrier-Lords so...
The game has the same flaw in story that Hollywood movies have, why in hell would Amon even let Ouros live in the first place lol
NC Quadraxis lol good question. Maybe he just got cocky. Hubris yo. Or since ouuros had a ton of power (kerrigan defeated Amon with it) so he probably tried to pick them off before they could get to him, no idea. Good question. I wanna know why as well
Mabey to use Ouuros as a way to recreate himself more faster?
Drain his power, perhaps?
"you don't have to let yourself be mutilated again" Raynor still tryna git dat 😼
Nothing unites warring factions more than a common larger enemy.
The background score for a lot of these cutscenes sounds like the background score for Jak 3 in some spots.
Narud/Duran: Have you come to kill me?
Stukov: Yes…
Narud/Duran: For revenge?
Stukov: No…
Raynor and Kerrigan: (cranking up the USSR Anthem)
Stukov: This is for Vodka… for my Sandvich… my life… my best friend DuGalle… the fact you infested me… AND FOR PLAYING THIS RUSSIAN MAN LIKE A DAMN FIDDLE! (He fires a corrosive blast)
Artanis, Horner and Valarian: Was that necessary?
Raynor and Kerrigan: Yes
Tassadar: (mind) I can’t believe these two are still chaotic…
Stukov is Xel'Naga confermed
stukov is not a xel naga, it was amon the one who could only be killed by a xel naga, narud could be killed by pretty much anyone
Narud was a lesser Xel'naga. He can be killed by anyone.
kemal sucu Yeah. Exactly. He doesn't look anything like a Regular Xel'Naga.
All Xel'Naga can be killed by anything. Which is why Amon is being _a bitch to everyone._
HELLO DURAN
"Tassadar/Ouros sounds like the guy who does Mata Nui and Worf.
All played by Michael Dorn.
27:48. Good night Duran.
say goodnight duran.
this is a greta reference to Brood war
Anyone get that Balcora Gate feeling when Ulnar opened the portal?
the music of the first seconds of the video brought me back to Teldrassil.
Me too. The music is almost the same.
At least Blizzard gave Stukov's revenge a meaning.
Feel like the missing dialogue from Kerrigan about needing help to destroy Amon would be like: "I know you all have a reason to not trust me... but Amon has affected all of us, and like me, you want to make him pay"
14:20 Narud: The Queen of Blades can only spread suffering!
Raynor: That's where you're wrong, man.
He so should’ve said that
I mean she Freed the Dominion from mensk
Whereas Duran/Narud could mainifest himself as a shapeshifter, he was a lesser Xel'Naga, like the primal Zerg where to Zerg. Remember, Amon needed a host body, so he is one of the gods who can break the cycle (IOW a Xel'Naga from the beginning. Amon was not always cruel and bad, he fell. Like the fallen angels of God are Demons. Dura/Narud is an angle in that regard.
An acute discription
The warriors that fought have fought with honor
This sounds like Worf making Sara an illicit offer.
The story suddenly pulls “gateway to the void” out of its ass when its never been established that the void is a place.
32:47 "Jimmy was like not again. I'm going to lose Sarah again."
I find it fucking awesome that random CC spelled out Xel'Naga correctly.
stukov kills duran!! loved it
We only had to wait nearly 20 years...
Amon(Thanos)
Duran(Loki) and
Kerrigan(Doctor Doom)
Amon The King Of Hell
Duran The Servant of Hell and
Kerrigan The Guardian of Hell Turned Good
"Only a xel'naga can kill the fallen one"
Stukov seemed to do pretty well
that wasnt amon (the fallen one) that was just a regular xel naga, and the zerg killed thousands of xel naga in the past
@@lorenzoherreros6641 Those Zerg were manipulated by Amon, so it folds back on itself.
@@AbsoluteMongoloid those zerg didnt get any buff from being manipulated, so the point remains unchanged
@@lorenzoherreros6641 Who's to say? There's a reason that the Overmind could only be truly killed by Templar energy.
the writers of course!
The literal official phrase was "Amon unleashed the swarm, and the zerg devoured the xelnaga"
Note how it doesnt say "enhanced" zerg, or "powered zerg" or "void fueled zerg".
Nonetheless, the fact that the Overmind is a very special organism with special powers and protections doesnt change the fact that the zerg (zerglings, hydralisks and a long etc) devoured the xel naga and killed them by the thousands.
cyka blyat rush b
To think Kerrigan has to become Xel Naga not just because of her destiny but also she wants a redemption by cleanse herself from the bloodshed she had done as Queen of Blades. This scene gave us a insight of redeeming ourself whether we have caused others' pain intentionally or not.
It turns out that Narud is none other than Duran himself.
Something occurred to me. Could it be they planned this since the brood war this whole time?
"Your lawyers have engaged the enemy!"
I was under the impression that Stukov just killed his body, Like Primal evils in Diablo anyone strong can kill the bodies but truly killing them takes more
nop, xel nagas killed in the void die forever, stukov killed him dead.
Terran Battlecruisers, Protoss Spear of Adun, and Zerg Leviathans all in the same Fleet.
It's like Zeratul forsaw everything.
everytime kerrigan says artanis, the subtitles say our tennis lmao
Duran once said,”Say Goodnight.” to Stukov before killing hm in Starcraft. LOL
I was dissapointed by the Tassadar reveal. Didn't see why Tassadar couldn't be there himself.
0:27 "Such little fate for a templar" what a burn. lamo
