You know for the longest time I’ve always considered the mark as something spiritual. Similar to what you read in Ezekiel 9 on God’s mark more or less the Holy Spirit. When you look at Revelations 13 and I know I might be over reaching but look at the descriptions of both beasts. The first beast performs great signs to the Bible for all those to worship and utters blasphemy towards God and than the second beast performs great signs to cause everyone to worship the first beast and this power is given in a 42 month span. The closes thing that comes to mind is look when Trump became president he performed a lot of great wonders and in all of his speeches he acts like he gives glory to Christ but he’s not a real Christian because he feels like he’s a good man and he don’t need forgiveness. Wouldn’t pretending to be in Christ not be the biggest blasphemy and then Biden became president and performing many wonders that’s caused everyone to worship Trump now indirectly even democrats and liberals. A presidential term is almost 42 months. I don’t know something to think about?

From all I ever heard from others that this happens mid way during the final seven years before Christ returns with the saints to set up the Millenial Reign of Christ. That these are the saints that come to know Christ during the seven year Tribulation and they will all be beheaded for their faith in Christ. So all those that are in Christ today will not be here when the mark of the beast takes place. Could you do a discussion on that subject?

It clarifies a lot of needless Christian worrying I would think. You take it because you are willing to forsake God and worship this false god or you die and you are not here to concern yourself with it. Since NO true believing Christian can be lost of Jesus then no true Christian will remain since they will be made to die by virtue of refusing to worship. Well, thats my take on it anyway, seems pretty plain when put into context of the rest of teaching. If you take the mark, you are willing and were never of God, since no power can remove us from Him if we are truly His. Another good argument for pre-trib. I dont think the church will be here but potential converts may still be.

The church (the Bride Of Christ)won’t have to go through the tribulation period. We will be raptured up to meet Jesus in the air prior to the mark of the beast. Notice the church disappears for several chapters in the book of revelation; bc we are not on the earth. We will come back with Jesus when he comes to claim his kingdoms

The sheep and goat judgment at the Second Coming is for Tribulation Saints, not Church Saints. Those in Christ won't be here for the Tribulation, which is for Israel and those who haven't accepted Jesus as Savior.
Those who haven't received the mark and have converted to Christ during the tribulation will enter the millenial reign.
Luke 16 makes it clear that a person's eternal fate is decided here on Earth; no changing once the flesh dies.

At Revelation 13:11, what is the "wild beast ascending out of the earth" (as opposed to the "wild beast" at Rev 13:1, 2, that ' ascended out of the sea ' or from the restless, radical, unstable, agitated mankind, see Isa 57:20, 21 that explains what the "sea" is, while the "earth" represents the more stable elements of mankind), that had "two horns like a lamb, but it began speaking like a dragon" ?
Note: The "wild beast" at Revelation13:1, 2 is NOT "the antichrists", for the "wild beast" is political while the antichrists, meaning "against (or instead of) Christ" is religious, counterfeit Christians, Christendom, the "weeds" at Matthew 13:24-30, with their "man of lawlessness" at 2 Thessalonians 2:3, 4, the religious leaders of Christendom.
What is the "the wild beast that ascended out of the earth" ? It is the 7th and last world power seen at Revelation 17:9, 10, that resulted from ancient Rome's collapse in 476 C.E., the Anglo/American world power, gaining its ascendancy at the beginning of the 20th century, that holds sway over the world both politically and economically, with the United States taking center stage on the world scene.(see Dan 7:8, whereby Britain is "the small horn" that plucked out three of the ten horns over the course of some 227 years, from 1588 till 1815 C.E., first Spain, then the Netherlands, and finally France)
So, it is the United States that effectively controls the flow of money, goods and merchandise, because of "Wall Street", the investment banking system that is at the front of the world's economic growth, and carries much political clout, whereby the United States has been the leading nation supplying "munitions" to Ukraine in its war against Russia, with the European Union following suit.

And that is why those who are politically neutral, those who are "NO PART of the world" under Satan's control (John 15:19; Rev 12:9) are the ones put to a severe test of loyalty to God, so that Revelation 14:12 says:
"Here is where it calls for endurance on the part of the holy ones, those who keep the commandments of God and hold fast to the faith of Jesus.”(see also Rev 13:9, 10 concerning those who are politically neutral, being put into prison or killed)
And at Revelation 20:4, it says of these ones: "And I saw thrones, and those who sat on them were given authority to judge. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed for the witness they gave about Jesus and for speaking about (Jehovah) God (see Isa 12:2, KJV),"
"and those who had NOT worshipped the (political) wild beast (the political system) or its image (the United Nations, NOT having "the mark of the wild beast" as the world under Satan has, Rev 16:2; 19:20), having NOT received the (symbolic) mark on their forehead and on their hand (by NOT giving either a physical "hand" of support, or verbal or mental support with the "forehead", being politically neutral, see John 18:36)."
Hence, anyone involved in the political arena, even mentally, is symbolically "marked", and especially those in Christendom, the "antichrists" (1 John 2:18-23), are those described by James: "Adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God ? Whoever, therefore, wants to be a friend of the world (such as being involved in any way in politics) is making himself an ENEMY of God."(James 4:4)

I am glad to hear you explain that the person who takes the mark will not be able to change their mind. I completely agree! Having said that, I heard what John MacArthur said when asked about if someone asked forgiveness for taking the mark, they would be granted forgiveness. MacArthur was answering that question in a hypothetical way, in other words, he was saying, "IF it was possible". At no time did he acknowledge that anyone would be able to change their minds about taking the mark! Taking the mark is a sin, however, John MacArthur did reference Matthew 12:31, which makes it clear that every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven, except for the blasphemy against the HOLY SPIRIT. I believe John MacArthur knows that there is no turning back once you take the mark.

That's because OSAS is not true. Many of these so-called preachers are finding out the scriptures don't support their theory.
And that's the definition of a theory. It's an idea concocted by men, not God, that can't be proven true in every facet of its concept, i.e. Evolution or the Big Bang Theory.

DO NOT add what the scriptures is not saying. It's possible to receive salvation, be filled with the Holy Spirit and experience the power of God - but still end up lost, blotted out of the book of life and cast into eternal damnation.

Hebrews 6:4-6 is about teachers who go back to sacrifices of the law, instead simply of trusting in the simple blood of Jesus to cover them. Christ died ONCE, and we are only born again ONCE. So of course it would be impossible to be renewed unto repentance "AGAIN" after it has already happened. Salvation is a one time event and we are redeemed from the law.
But of course work salvationists and goats will interpret Hebrews 6 as salvational loss passage. God will not cast away his elect sheep. We are saved and sealed forever. Goats believe in salvational loss because the spirit is not in them and giving them assurance.

Kenneth Gentry has whay i believe is rhe clearest explanation of how to understand the book of revelation, including the mark of the beast. He is a post millennialist. His view is simple: The tribulation has already occurred during the destruction of the Jewish temple in 70 AD. The whole purpose of the tribulation was God's divorce decree from Israel and him taking on the new bride the church. And he discusses the different symbolisms of how what the mark of the beast actually is and comparing it to the mark of the holy Spirit in the Old testament. It talks about true saints will have a mark on their forehead and hands in the Old testament. This is contrasted to the mark of the beast in Revelation with the hands in the forehead. He even identifies what the early writers would have understood the numbers to me, it's not 666. Rather it's 600 and 60 and 6. The reason it was 616 in the Greek is because the writers were actually spelling out the same name. His name is spell different in Hebrew and Greek. It's the Roman emperor Nero. I think in the original it was NRON QSR. The whole scene of Revelation is clearly pointing to Rome. Jesus mentioned that the revelation would occur within this generation (Bible times a generation is 40 years.) he even told them that it'll be the city of 7 hills (a reference to Rome). So if we marry the setting (Rome) a time period (within 40 years of Jesus saying) And we have evidence to support that the writer was spelling out Nero cesor in Hebrew and in Greek it's clear that the tribulation is not for us, but is already passed.
