I have a G4050 and opening it applies in the same way. And thank you very very much, you saved me a lot of trouble. I had electrostatic deposition of dust on the inside of the glass, like waves,😊 I even found a couple of small insects, absolutely dead and dry. Scanning dias negs and photocopies where not to think about before this cleaning. So thanks again and again!!!!
If you are wondering why the lid doesn't pop apart as easily, it's because he didn't show that you need to remove the four screws on the bottom. Informative video otherwise.
Thank you, I was wondering how to get at the inside glass. Mine sounds like the rod on the one side needs to be lubricated. Is this advisable and if so what would I use to lubricate it?
@@easyelectronicsolution3105 Glass cleaner on inside glass. A really light air soft gun oil to lube the guide rod, Seems to work better now, no noise while scanning.
