I've budget for m1 should I buy it , will the software needed to work on vlsi are compatible for it or it will be difficult to run on it also some of them software are paid I'm confused i should go for mac or windows @Singh-Rajveer
Actually, I also bought M1 after my academics was done. As it is tough to install free software on Mac. Also, You won't be buying any paid vlsi tools because those are so costly. Your college lab would provide these tools to work. As far as basic vlsi learning like practicing verilog, installing xilinx vivado basic version is conveniently possible on mac. But if you are thinking of installing cracked software then it is comparatively tough from windows. Installation of cracked software is not recommended as well.
I provided this in description as it was available in comparatively lower price while other companies have higher price for same prices. So, Description links are given such that they are best option in that particular price range including all other aspects as well such that RAM, SSD, screen quality etc. And Yes, For student purposes you won't feel problem due to i7 U series Processor.
I have hp intel i3 5th gen , 4gb ram..now I want to go for vlsi journey with honour magicbook x14 which you recommend so can I go for it only for study purpose?? Or I can go by my old version.
hello, im going to be doing eletrical and computer systems engineering, do you think i will need dedicated gpu? or can i just use intergrated from radeon and iris xe for laptop
No need for a specific GPU , if the goal is study purposes only. But, If you wish to play games, content creation etc then specific gpu would be required. Even if you install MATLAB type software, then also integrated gpu would handle it
brother i didn't understand what is digital vlsi and analog vlsi ?is there are front end or backend ? how to differentiate between these? if i take design verification engineer is it analog/digital vlsi or if pd comes under analog/digital vlsi? pls clear my doubt then i can study the subjects though same fundamental subjects but which ic design i need to take for design verification engineer or pd like wise?
sir I completed my graduation in 3tier college in 2017yr and did Mtech in nanotechnology in 2019-21 i dont have any job i want to join in vlsi course can u suggest which to chose and which institute is best in Hyderabad?
Hi, I don't have that much knowledge about training institute. But lot of fake advertising happen over social media / internet. So, It is advised to take reviews from 10-15 students before joining any training institute. You can search institute name on google. You may easily find students enrolled over there on LinkedIn.
I guess for study purposes no. Because during student life we need various free applications. Mac doesn't not have that flexibility. However most of the tools/ student purpose have mac versions still not all. That's what I feel and for the same reason I purchased mac after my engineering.
What vlsi engineer do in Tesla company?? Bro how vlsi is use ful for electrical vehicle and I want to settle in ev industry can I get if I do mtech in vlsi
Yes, It will be able to run those tools. Higher clocked processors may give a slight advantage to reduce the simulation time or run the tools faster. But won't be an issue for student purposes
@@Singh-Rajveer no actually I'm trying to ask is it also we do for vlsi job because laptop can be bought once only know can u series is sufficient then? i5 12/13 h is great or i7 12th u is good? pls reply
Company will provide you laptop when you are into vlsi job. Tools and Machines run on company's server when you are into job. Laptop is provided just to access the server. Also, if speed matters very much for you then go for i5 13th gen H series else choose i7 U-series.
Thank you ❤
Kindly recommend me hp laptop model because i am doing electrical engineering

Bhaiya what is the future of embedded software developer. I am a cse student but like learning electronic things.please reply
It's Good. Embedded Co-Domain (Hardware+ Software) would be in demand.
I am using intel i3 processor laptop, is it okay if i upgrade RAM to 8gb and add 512gb ssd ?
Yes, It could work. Maybe lags would be there but manageable

Video is older. I would suggest to research based on factors explained in the video and find out the best as per your need in your budget.

what's problem with macbook?
Usually students don't have that much budget.
That's why I didn't include MAC.
This one is for 45-70k budget.

Do I required graphics card in my laptop? Is it necessary for vlsi ?
Dedicated GPU is not necessary just for vlsi preparation purposes.
P, H series have required integrated graphics.

It's best but not in the range of 50-70k.
