Movie watchers: * visible confusion *

Please do a video “Every difference between the Percy Jackson book and TV show”!
Just read the book
@@mathswatch1976 He did this series for Harry Potter too every difference between each book and movie
Yes! That would be incredible!!!
He kinda did. He discussed them all in the episodic reviews as they came up
That would be so cool!
I wish they had focused more on the scar and the story behind that when they showed Hermes in ep 6 instead of going for the story about his mum. It would have added well with the story and would have made sense that when Percy mentioned Hermes and that he had spoken to him that Luke would lose it and start attacking him (which was very well excuted showing that Luke was not intending to attack but hearing about his dad made lose his calm)
whose to say it isn’t something they are saving?
It’s worth saving for later. Hermes visiting his son planted the seeds.
The quest is the straw that broke the camel’s back.
I wish they mentioned this in the show
I think they're saving it.
@@hunnerdayEDT You wanna know how I got these scars?
@@billygregory1547 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Luke is such an amazing and interesting character. Even things that might seem as the littelest of details turns out to be extremely important later on
Literally right now, on this thumbnail, I noticed that he has a scar in the series 😮😅...!
I think Luke's scar should've been a little more visible, more easy to notice on first sight, since this is his first strong characteristic 🤔.
It's quite visible
It's more visible in the first season finale, especially during his betrayal. Likely a deliberate choice to make him appear more sinister in that scene. We don't see the scar much in episode 2 when he first appears, as he's still the trustworthy big brother figure then.
it's incredibly noticeable- he can't just have a bleeding wound on his face
It is really easy to recognise though.... 😂
These percy jackson videos are fire 🔥(making the life of percy jackson might be succesful as the harry potter 1 did to u ).
"Hermes is a crucial part of why Luke got his scar" yeah, he is a crucial part of.. everything that had happened to him. Without Hermes, it's almost like Luke wouldn't have existed...
Can you do more of the life of in Percy Jackson or explaining each book
More of those would be so cool!
Yes,one "The Life Of Nico di Angelo" would be incredible!
One thing I wanna say
The entrance of luke and his friendliness was ON POINT!
Brilliant acting and directing. The expectations are high for season 2
"not even having his own dignity" LMFAO you are a savage! That was HILARIOUS!

@@kaiumeda6341
Yes in biological terms. In the emotional treatment, he sees Luke as family. The older brother he never had.
@@joshuahecht6866 Oh Okay
Thank you so much for highlighting this important detail, especially for those who haven’t read the books. Since I’m a huge Percy Jackson fan and have read all the books, I already knew of this. But I know a lot of people who aren’t familiar with the books, and only watched the show wouldn’t catch on this detail, so thanks for making this video! 😊
I love u and ur content so much ur one of my favorite channels ever ❤
I love that you included the Disney Hercules!! It made me giggle a little!! 😆
Please can you do the life of Nico di angelo
YESS
Hey @MovieFlame great video. Btw it should be *Affected not Effected because it is being used as an action verb.
i was gonna comment this lol
Glad I'm not the only one who spotted that😅
I love your content it really uplifts my day every time i see you have a new upload. I was wondering could you do a video on the hunters of Artemis. Thanks.
Great Video
Maybe they’ll talk about it in season two! Much love MovieFlame!❤️🔥
Hey bro! I’ve been a subscriber to your channel for a few years now and I really enjoy your content. Recently, I’ve been playing red dead redemption 2 and was wondering if you could do a video on one of the characters from the game? Perhaps the MC Arthur Morgan or the Gang leader Dutch Van Der Linde? Keep up the good work!
Hey movieflame would you ever do a comparison video between the differences of the Greek and Roman gods? I remember a while back before this show got announced you did a couple videos explaining the gods and their origins but I don’t think you ever did a comparison of the differences between the Roman and Greek counterparts as they may appear in PJO.
please do more info on the big three. great video enjoy it much love
More videos of Percy Jackson please.. ❤ this is great
Check out the songs from the Percy Jackson musical!
Also, they may bring up the scar later on in the series. May for the "Titan's Curse." It would be the perfect time to bring it up.
Make this Riordan Video Part 2:
Riordan Villains Least Evil to Most Evil
Least Evil: Clarisse / Nancy Bobofitt
Evil: Luke / Giants / Ares / Alecto / Atlas
Most Evil: Kronos / Gaia / Octavian
When was clarisse a villain?
@@glacionthatmakeseditsboiii in the first book, she tried to kill Percy
Yeah, I kind of Think Octavian goes to just "evil" List, IK If his plans had worked, Whole CHB would destroyed but Kronos and Gaia would destroy Entire World
@@-._.-What-Is-Up-._.- Octavian wanted a genocide of the Greek demigods, that’s super evil
Here's a video idea Morgan!
"Reacting to how Percy Jackson characters are supposed to look compared to the series (AI generated)"
That would be so awesome
Please
@meghakandala4233 🎵That would be so awesome. That would be so cool...🎵
I mean, we already know how the charaters look from the pngs Movieflame uses.

Honestly I think they are going to do this next season, because this season had sally jackson flashbacks, so I would think the next season will have flashbacks as well and now that the audience knows that Luke is a bad guy they are probably going to have flashbacks of his past to flesh out his character more.
Movie flame, you NEED to make a video reviewing the new last airbender trailer!
will you make a review video for the trials of apollo?
Maybe Kronos’s other plan was to give Luke the scar and that’s maybe one of the reason how Kronos got a connection with Luke. Also it’s so strange how that scar made Luke so angry whenever he looked at it.
Plz do a vid about Luke’s life
I would love a season 2 who agrees
Yes please
please do rank on all the gods(seen in one way or another video)
can you please do the life of different characters from pro
Hopefully they’ll explain it in the second or third season.
Can you please do a whole timeline of Percy Jackson through the Olympian books through also the next series that’s after that
Hey, could you do a life of Percy Jackson please
Man when are you going to react at the new avatar trailer?
But also, i think it was also Thalia's death that also added to his hatred to the gods. Because he liked her and all but Zeus turned her into a tree and didn't save her so I guess that also played a big part in his resentment
Have you ever read Riordan's other series like Magnus Chase and The Kane Chronicles? Also, when are you going to talk about the Avatar: The Last Airbender trailer?
Please do a video of annabeth's and percy's life
Guess Hermes and possibly the other gods, r running out of original ideas for quests. From jumping over to mentioning Luke’s mother in that ep did. They said Luke blames Hermes for his mother, being able to c through the mist. But really, it was natural for her. People with that r candidates to b hosts for the spirit of the Oracle of Delphi. Unfortunately Hades placed a curse that drove her insane. That, and a glory-less quest, it’s understandable for Luke to fall to the dark side and hate his father.
Hades out that curse on her due to Zeus murdering Nico and Bianca’s mother in front of him. Every horrific and evil thing in the Riordanverse leads back to Zeus. Just as God of War Norse’s Odin is responsible for everything.
Can you please do book vs show and movie based on their looks and also how many dies throughout the Riordanverse ?
I see why Luke hated his father. and all gods because of that quest. that was already completed by Hercules, that scar cause by the dragon his dad just wanted him to failed
Just commenting for the algorithm 💙❤️🧡
They can easy spotlight thatinfo in season 3
that scar is awezome
Season 2, the first time the gang encounters Luke again: “Ya wanna know how I got this scar?”
Do the life story of avatar aang please
Nice
I have a feeling you want to retell rest of characters using tv show instead of movies
SEASON 2 HAS ALREADY BEEN OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED!!
Can you please do a full review for the show. It’s something that I think a lot of us would want!
👇if you want movieflame to do this
I just realised something from watching this: If Hermes knew of Luke's fate, could this mean that he set the quest up, ultimately knowing that his son would fail and, therefore, give him the push to join Kronos, which would then lead to his fate in The Last Olympian? If I'm wrong, I'm fine with that, I just had to let this thought out.
He knew everything and he is forced go along or everyone dies.
But I would rather let Hermes not know that his son will die in order to make the death more heartbreaking.
Well now thier is a possibility that a season 2 might or might not happen
Can you do a video on why the reddit fandom absolutely hates the show and the Twitter fandom is passionately in love with it?
Does someone know who went along with him?? I’ve been asking myself this forever
Have you read the sun and the star book?
Whoah
The title should be "Affected" not "Effected"
Can you talk about the lord of the rings trilogy and do a versus video of book vs movie of lord of the rings trilogy and the lord of the rings extended edition trilogy as well please since you wrapped up with harry potter movies and books including hunger games as well so can you do lord of the rings as well love the new percy jackson t.v series
First thing I thought when I heard this title was " wanna know how I got these scar's"
Since Lin-Manuel Miranda is his father the show version of him must have lost one of his siblings in a duel with George Eacker.
Don of Hermes, Luke Skywalker😂😂
Is there chance that the writers of the show might include a flashback of this story in season 2?
Percy Jackson = I click
If you've read the books you will know how Luke got his scar. You might not forget it because it was a big part of how he was evil. there may or may not be hint to that. unless you fell asleep right before you read the part about it or were listening to the book.
Anyone ever wonder who he went on this quest they are always taken by three right? Who were the other 2 and what happened to them?
Cool 😎😎😎😎
Episode 6 would have been so much better if Annabeth told percy this instead of what happened to his mom
Rank your favourite harry potter character’s from worst to best
i think in season 2 we will get the scar story from Annabeth
He had a scar in the tv series?
harry potter 6 and 7 movie breakdown release date??????????????????
I really do feel bad for Luke. It’s very sad that he hates his father but I don’t know it’s very complicated for the demigods and gods and goddesses….
OUCH!
hi
Goose the Cat attacked him or the Fire Lord got to him.
Title should be affected. I don’t wanna be that guy, but here we are.
W luke
I could barely see his scar
Loved the season but this may just B me but I felt like they showed Luke’s hand a little too much
I love movie flame especially Harry Potter
I express my pity towards such a sympathetic character.
Hi
1 hour gang, btw not for likes
*Affected* him...
Luke is a guy who gets people killed because he was disrespected.
Because he's related to the gods
Wooo first!!
Nvm lol I'll take 4th
nope
I feel bad for Luke because his mom got a curse.
Seers
Those who see through the lies of normalcy are called Seers. She tried to be the Oracle but Zeus killed Hades’ wife and Nico’s Mother, in grief he placed a curse on her and those who wants to be the oracle.
I’ve had a hard time enjoying the tv series as much as you have, and I think the biggest reason is because all of the characters have different motivations for their actions from the book. Motivation is what MAKES a character. I’d love if you could do a deep dive into what each character wants / is motivated by in the books vs the show.
For example, I think Percy was way more interesting when his motivation to go on the quest was shown to be duty /save the world but inside it was purely to save his mom than in the show when his outward motivation is to save his mom and his hidden motivation is to gain glory so he can force his dad to notice him?? It felt like Percy was immediately angry and judgmental of the gods, knowing exactly what was wrong and how to fix it instead of slowly figuring it out by the end of the series. The show is trying too hard to set up the end of the series (with Luke’s motivation and backstory, Percy’s anger at the gods, medusas changes, ares dialogue, Percy’s mom training his to be different from the Olympians, annabeth telling Hephaestus that Percy isn’t like them, etc… the gods are supposed to be complex grey characters that we gradually form opinions of over many books/seasons, not just the hamfist written obvious bad guys. That was never Percy’s motivation though.
Annabeths motivation for wanting to go on the quest wasn’t clear, Luke’s was changed, Grover’s wasn’t focus on until halfway through the season (even though it is literally the most important part of his character?), Sally’s motivations in raising Percy were changed, now she is trying to mold him instead of shelter him, her motivations for staying with Gabe are immediately undercut when she talks back to him (that shows weakness to not suck it up and stay silent even when she wants to lash out, takes more strength to restrain yourself), on and on and on. It feels so weird that none of the character motivations are written the same when it’s the most important aspect of a character and the writer of all people should know that.

Why the hell does Luke look more like Percy in this show than Percy does? I don't get it. NONE of the characters look right. Why couldn't these actors at the very least have put on wigs?
I’m the first comment
nope
never slept? how can it not sleep? it should have died from sleep deprivation or passed out on the spot.
Actually first?
na
And the first view
and nope again

It’s weird that the actor in the show isn’t blonde as Luke was, at least the actor in the movie was more book accurate.
The opposite hair colors between Luke and Percy is interesting because both are the heroes and villains of their own stories. They created each other.
@@joshuahecht6866 it's still weird to me, it's the same thing with Annabeth, the character is one of the whitest blonde girls in the books and her counterpart in the show is the blackest girl (kid).
@@SharpAsRavenClaws
Later on in the series
Annabeth wishes she has black hair rather than blonde hair. Guess her creator honored that wish but in an unexpected way.
@@joshuahecht6866 she can have a dark hair while growing up, at a certain age a bright hair gets darker, so turning her into a black girl for that is stupid and unnecessary.
@@SharpAsRavenClaws
Accuracy is very on point if you to create a good product. Rick Riordan has an idea that anyone can be a hero or villain. I feel it messes me up that they chose to be diverse for the sake of marketing rather than sticking to their guns for what they believed in.
